Let’s talk about your thoughts on NFTs this new year. Over the years, we’ve seen NFTs lose some of the initial hype they had in 2021, but it seems like things are shaping up again already, don’t you think?
First, there was Fuel, which rewarded users for holding their NFTs. Then Xion introduced NFT tasks as part of their Season 2 airdrops. We’ve also seen projects like Clay on Cardano ramping up their efforts in preparation for launch, while Magic Eden launched their token, ME.
This is just my personal bias, but I think we could see a resurgence of NFT vibes and FOMO soon. Do you think that’s possible?

Well, a few reports show that NFT trading volume has actually increased in 2024 but honestly I haven't seen people talking about NFTs. The only NFT-related event I'm interested in is those collections from Trump.
GameFi hasn't returned, SocialFi and MoveFi also haven't shown any signs of an imminent boom so NFTs can't get the community attention. Inscription is also not an easy-to-access layer of NFTs for most users. I will wait for the success of GameFi before expecting a boom in NFTs this year.

There've been a few nfts talk I've come across though. Fuel, berachain, XION and even Clay that I mentioned(That went live few days ago). https://x.com/ClaytonOnTon/status/1879510221187686541?t=j2u_zVoL30p4opRojOP10Q&s=19
It'll take some time for gamefi to fully click, I'll predict Q2. But let's see how it goes. Btw, seen TRUMP official meme that hit $13b mcap in few hours??.

Yeah, TRUMP and MELANIA memecoins have had huge success since Trump inauguration. Trump NFTs have also seen impressive price increases thanks to this event, but honestly I don't believe that the NFT trend has officially returned to the market. Right now, everyone is talking about TRUMP memecoins instead of Trump NFTs ^^
NFTs will be interested in the hottest time of the market, before that many native tokens of platforms that support creating and trading NFTs will increase strongly in price. Currently we have not seen that happening, everyone is just focusing on BTC & memecoins.
