Solana and TON network has been the best performers in the blockchain industry so far, these two have the most projects launched so far. Personally, i’ve made more profits trading Solana projects compared to when i trade Ton projects and i keep wondering if i’m the only one. Most Ton projects except Notcoin perform well after listing but the buzz just die down after a week at most.
One of my favorite Solana projects; PIPPIN did 10X yesterday after holding for a few months since it got listed on top exchanges. The hype around it has been so strong that i’m so bullish. I still don’t agree with those that call these projects “mere memecoins”. I’m curious about what you think about both Solana and TON projects. Which of them do you trade to make more profits ?

Ton was once the preferred choice for many Tap-to-Earn games, and their tokens were all memecoins. However, this wave quickly ended, and memecoins chose Sol to build their own communities. We have seen the results of Sol's focus on memecoins through Sagaphone and BONK.
Currently, Sol is probably the top choice for memecoins, especially as they can be easily deployed through Pum.fun. Ton needs more support programs to regain the attention of memecoin projects if they truly see memecoins as an important part of their ecosystem.

after TON CEO was detained, the project had slowed down. looks like its compromised already while SOL continues to rise. there isn't yet a way to find out what will happen in the future of TON but or now, SOL has much chance.
but the more suspicious things happening to project, its surprisingly making its way to the wallets of investors because it gets better. SOL was once a not so good project too. during the FTX collapse, the FTX balance sheet reveals they have more SOL afaik. TON could also become great one day when everyone has dumped its tokens. ;D

I agree TON needs more stable programs gain back the attention it once had. I remember i had so much expectations after it was launched but there is still room for improvement tho. We just have to wait and see what TON has in store for us this year.

That’s true…didn’t even realize it was after his detention. This year could be different for TON, if more projects with utility are launched on it.

I agree TON needs more stable programs gain back the attention it once had. I remember i had so much expectations after it was launched but there is still room for improvement tho. We just have to wait and see what TON has in store for us this year.

Both blockchains have successfully weathered the crypto winter: Sol has risen from the ashes with memecoins, while Ton has successfully leveraged Telegram's massive user base with Tap-tap. They are also the fastest and most powerful blockchains on the market. Ton faced some difficulties due to the negative impact of the Telegram CEO's troubles in Germany, and the FOMO in the Ton ecosystem was quickly extinguished, although the TON price did not fall too deeply.
If Ton wants to compete with Sol in the memecoins trend, it needs to continue to reach the hundreds of millions of Telegram users in a smarter way to create more successful memecoins like DOGS. With just a few memecoins like NOT and DOGS increasing in price, the excitement will return and help Ton compete on an equal footing with Sol in the memecoins race.

Memecoins are still memecoins, no matter what pump they have there will also be a dump, let's talk in one month about the "bullishness".
The same was said about hamster and cats and dogs and eagles and donkeys and lions and whatever, they all do the same.

Seems to me that it can be said that in between TON and SOL the latter is the winner though we have to accept the fact that in this industry the wind can be shifting direction anytime. I made the mistake of trusting TON more compared to Solana and based on OP's experience maybe I should evaluate my stance and strategy on this matter. If SOL can produce more and more solid memecoins projects then it would come out to be the real leader in this race...and there can be some reasons for it which TON failed to grasp and appreciate for now. The only problem is that am not into trading in either TON or SOL though I am into some T2E projects in TON and some DePin projects using the Solana network.

Actually, I think that you could express a best opinion in your comment. So I am also agree with your prefer comment. We also know that Solana and ton twice is very important for crypto users. I also believe that Solana will be very helpful for us in crypto currency market. If we follow in cryptocurrency market, we can see that Solana price is increase gradually in cryptocurrency market. Because we know that bitcoin price already reach near $100k. So I believe that Solana will be reach best position in future. So if we want to invest in Solana, I think that it will be very helpful for us.

I absolutely agree with you this industry can shift directions anytime. TON can probably do better this year if it has some good strategy prepared. I’ve also been looking more into DePin projects, they’ve been performing quite well lately.

As of now, Sol has indeed been more successful than Ton in terms of building an ecosystem and attracting both users and investors. Ton used to be very successful but currently, its ecosystem is quite boring and cannot be compared to Sol with trending memecoins and extremely impressive DEXs volume.
If only investing in memecoins on Sol and Ton, I would allocate most of my capital to Sol and only a small portion to Ton with the expectation of a sudden breakthrough from Tap-to-Earn games. Ton is very strong with a speed of 100K tps but Sol has a larger and more vibrant community, which is the key condition for the price increase of memecoins when the market enters an uptrend.

Not again do people have in mind or developed interest for Ton network as before when it newly started because they have been so much disappointed in many of their projects, this is not much about the coin it self or the network, but the way other crypto projects have been using them to deceive and scam others, that is why Solana network will always have more winning edge than the Ton network.

If I will choose between the two, I will go with SOLANA all the way.
TON only became popular because of meme coins and tap-to-earn projects, but do they have projects in different categories? I mean is there any exchange created under TON blockchain? In SOL, you have Jupiter exchange and pump.fun as well. In terms of sustainable growth, SOL will be the better one.
Disregarding these 2 blockchains, let's not sleep about SUI as well because there are many projects being created under SUI blockchain as well. Most are meme coins yes, but I hope that there will be more projects being created on that blockchain. It's just sad for me that I bought some at $0.70 a few months ago but sold it at a dollar. :D

SOLANA is definitely the best and most expensive coin ever and this chain is very strong. But if you think about investment return then TON can give faster and bigger profit than SOL because TON is not yet expansive. so if you invest here, there is a possibility of getting more returns, but investing in all other coins except Bitcoin is risky. Investing in Bitcoin is also risky, but long-term investment recovers Bitcoin money.

well they are memecoins i know their is a bit of a negative connotation when it comes to memecoins but at the end of the day they are still memecoins and that is the category they fall under

i think it depends on the project obviously but for me solana as a network proposes much more potential and reliability and stability compared to ton many projects in ton have not been the most successful compared to solana projects where i think we have seen some of the great ones from the past year

If we follow in cryptocurrency market, we can see that Solana price is increase gradually in cryptocurrency market. Because we know that bitcoin price already reach near $100k. So I believe that Solana will be reach best position in future.
Right now, there is no question that in between the two - TON & SOL - it is Solana that is getting the top hand in terms of the quality of projects under their wings. However, am still hoping that soon we can see a rebound of TON as it has still the big potential to be a game-changer in the market. Anyway, it would be good to see both of these good crypto networks coming to be winners and it does not matter which is number 1 and which is number 2. What a network should avoid is stagnancy and TON people has to realize this as soon as possible so they would not end up relegated to the background missing the beat and the excitement provided in the market.

true, meme coins will not turn into long-lived coins. they only rely on hype, without providing innovation in the future, unlike coins that have an end goal for creating the coin, whether it is for the network or for the exchange coin, the coin will definitely become a valuable coin and grow along with the project they carry

So far, Solana is still superior to TON. Judging from its market cap and how the platform is progressing, the price of SOL can also increase rapidly. Moreover, this time Trump also put his own meme coin on the Solana network, this really has an impact on Solana and makes it rise very significantly.
Here, TON is also quite developing and even last year there were many mini game meme coins created on the TON Network. It's just that it's still not as significant as Solana.
