Anyone born after 2000, how do you see them and what's your impression about their activities and how they will sustain in the future.
I am talking about the majority of kids not some exceptions, they all are just trapped into their social media for likes, hearts, subscribers and followers and they are ready to lose their dignity to get those numbers which are merely useful for nothing. DO you think they have some purpose and vision about their future or they just go along the flow and drain their parents money.

Not all of them are interested in squandering money and living lavishly beyond their means.

There is nothing to worry about much with the younger generations because they will always learn, grow and find their own means, however, we must not pretend to say that we don't care about them or see what is expected of them, that is why we must be a good trail blazers in other for them to meet down a well established model for them to follow and then later improve more on them.
-
I see them as normal, just like everyone else, maybe they are used to things that the older generation were not used to, but not like in a kind of bad way. Even people from the older generations get addicted to social media and stuffs like that, so yeah.
-
They’re called the GenZ(s) and yeah they seem to be very enthusiastic about literally everything, we’ll I’ve seen some Genzs that do channel these energy and enthusiasm into something meaningful and can contribute to themselves and the society. We have lots of them in the entertainment industry, if you check very well, most of these GenZs are dominating in the entertainment world, and they’re not completely doing all that for nothing as you say, most of them, with the guidance of their parents or guardians are making a whole lot of impact and contributions to the society.
While we have a lot of them that have gone completely Wild and losing it, there are also so many of them on track.

i agree and disagree with you both at the same time because the new generation definitely are obsessed with social media and the internet has taken over their minds definitely there are consequences there like lack of reading comprehension, difficulty with attention spans, and not enough social interactions hindering growth
but i do not think this generation just goes with the flow i think this generation contrary to what you say actually values individualism a lot which is why we see them rally and protest for what they want and does not only do or say what is expected of them from the previous generations they value freedom so i see many of them trying to get away from families and make a name of their own and being open to internet and technology is a huge part of this as well

I don't find them participating for any social cause and activities apart from social media, there might be some exception but majority of them think that social media is the entire world but it's just the fantasy world of everyone's dream life and it influence them a lot and thinking that is the reality. Let's say they watch motovlogs and obsessed with it, now they demand money to buy motorcycle as well as every gadget needed for the vlogging from their parents which is not right, the same goes for every type of content. If they can buy things from their own revenue then it's fine bt demanding from parents is where the problem comes.
-
Kids nowadays are focused on social media some even do risky or silly things to get attention. Many of them don’t have clear goals or follow trends, and sometimes, like you said they waste their parents' money. but some use social media to influence users positively by sharing helpful content, teaching new skills, or starting small businesses. These kids know how to use social media as a tool to grow and make money instead of just wasting time. Its about how they use the technologies these days.

You're absolutely right. Not all young people born in 2000 are irresponsible or dependent on their parents. Many are working hard to make their parents proud and create a better future for themselves. Unfortunately, some others waste their time on social media, mistakenly believing that being an 'influencer' is a viable or fulfilling career path.

If we do tend to make up some comparison into those who are born in millenial, gen z or whatever they do call it out on which there's really that difference on what are kids in todays compared into the past on which everything is now that focused when it comes to social media on which anything on which they are able to see online and it is really that sad that they are now that lacking even some respect due into the influence that they are really that getting or seeing online and there's nothing we can do. We can say that all of them are really that like that but majority of them does have that kind of behavior now and it is really just that sad to see specially that those who are born into those before years mentioned aboved.
-
Really hard for me to talk about them since I have no valuable frame of reference to analyze their habits, social culture, etc. Even when we talk about social media and its terrible culture, I see people around my age or older who behave like a child. I guess the algorithm limits my exposure to other tags, so unless I explicitly research what's trendy for Gen Z I won't be exposed to them.
That being said, I agree that the next generation will be fine. Some of them will become the next leader even if they have some new words that sound strange to us. Most of them need to find a way to survive on their own sooner or later anyway. Impossible to rely on your parent forever unless you're born rich.

More recently nudity took over everything, in the past if there is some kind of nudity in the youtube videos there will be strike given for the video but nowadays youtube is recommending the nude contents in the name of challenges, dance, etc which shows how things have changed over the years in the social media. Consuiming nudity over and over will greatly affect someone's attention span.

Ones I know have their jobs and are also active on social media. I mean it's ok, no? As long as one does what they were supposed to and spend rest of time as they please, it's fine.

If they can able to do everything they are supposed to do, whether studying or Working for their survival and only spend their rest time on social media which is perfectly fine and that's how it's supposed to be but how many of them immersed into the scrolling and just a simple question when was the last time you saw a person who actually talking with their friends in a restaurant?
-
There's nothing different from them because you will see the smart ones and the dummies. They are more into tech and their ways of doings things is not quite different from children of the 90s. The only thing is that they are eager to make the money which mislead them most times.

I do see people talking but they do tend to have phone just by side and do keep checking it often, people don't give complete attention to other person these days even if he's just sitting by side, gotta agree!

The future will be deskilled kids who are trying to change their lives with social media alone without education or learning any skills. Suppose in the future, if everyone becomes a youtuber and creates content with their own channel, then who will watch the video! i mean where will the views on their videos come from! Everyone will not succeed in the same profession in the same way, doctor, engineer, social worker will succeed in different ways.
But the 2000 marked the rise of social media and smartphones which changed the way we communicate and interact with the world. Although these technological advancements have brought convenience and connectivity so the new generation can do better in the future if they use it properly.
-
These people are called GenZ generation. They care more about their looks (beauty) and seeking validation from people. When an older person tells them about how they are supposed to lead their lives they become upset and claim the person is not modern.

I hear that younger kids nowadays tend to look up to influencers on social media more than in the past. I think that makes sense considering how easy it is for them to access their content. They tend to make risky choices more often than not because they believe the job market's competition is getting fiercer. I won't blame them. Not to mention they can use this experience to have more connection. Some of them end up as an editor or community mods which get remuneration in money or something else.

A big issue with nudity and porn and crypto is the ease of turning a buck making internet porn.
And you can do videos that don’t reveal your identity take payment in grin or monero and only show your hand and either your own lower body or someone else’s lower body.
It is a temptation to earn good money this way and never has it been as easy to do as right now.
so I wonder how much this distorts a young 20 year old person. you certainly were not able to make money doing this in 1977 or 1997 but from 2017 on self made porn on the net done in a none identity revealing way became easy to do.
Since I was 20 in 1977 and this money making idea did not exist I do not have a reference point.
porn got bigger in the 80s with vcrs. but the ease of turning a profit took much longer to happen.

OF models make shit loads of money by doing porn and some does that without even revealing their original identity but what's the effect on the next generation. Every girl might start thinking porn is easy way to make money then why we need a degree or build a career of on our own that's the impact that I want to discuss.
And there are also many OF models turned their back after doing it for some years and the reason varies too.

All I can say about current young generation are more selfish and lazy than young people when I was young. And when I was considered as a younger generation, we also were not as creating as generation of our grandmas or grandpas at the same time. Grandpas and grandmas were very creative, innovative, more socialized. My generation were more explorer and testers. Current young generation are all about gadgets and giving little respect to elder generation.

I was born in the mid 90's and what will I say is that they are way lazier, way soft and more focused on the digital things compared to us when we are at their age.
We really are in the digital era where everybody or at least most are relying on digital things to live, and these kiddos are no exception. I will not say anything harsh about these people because at the end of the day, it's their lives. What I would say though is that there will be some of these people that will realize that what they're doing is wrong hence, they will be stopping it. As for their purpose and vision of their future, most of them can't understand it still because they aren't working. Once they are forced to work, they will realize all of it.

I have noticed that younger generation today does not prefer hand labor. Cozy office, PC and a coffee is what they prefer. Going outside, doing something with their hands, something that is required strength or getting dirty, that is what younger generation not only does not prefer, but avoid. I am not sure if a teenager can hammer a nail today. It makes me wonder, if tomorrow electricity switches off, younger generation will be doomed.
Nevertheless, there are lots of opportunities to earn with hand labor, or by using strength, but younger generation prefer tapping on screen or pressing buttons. For example if there is a chance to help to unload truck with stuff for $100 in cash right now or tap screen and maybe get crypto after few months, they would choose second option. Even if they will be in need of money.

Children born in the year 2000 and after are usually technically gifted because, if you've observed, they are very friendly with computers and are usually the ones behind new tech startups and innovations.
Not all of them are interested in squandering money and living lavishly beyond their means.
Yes, not all children waste money. Actually, if children are taught to save and how hard it is to earn money, they will understand and know how to manage finances and not waste money. Sorry, children who are used to wasting money are children who are used to living in luxury and are always spoiled in my opinion. This is different from children who are given an understanding as I said before.

Yeah, not all kids waste money. If they’re taught how to save and understand how hard it is to earn money, they’ll learn to manage it better. Kids who are used to spending a lot usually grow up in luxury and get everything easily. But it’s different when they’re taught to value money from a young age.

It's hard to tell, but most people born this year are technologically aware as mobile phones and internet are all over the market, also is used to fast paced on evolving technology.
Socially aware, as the internet is easy to access, political topics, environment topics, most of them aware on this.
This generation is actually has the potential to shape far better future due to the present technology created by the past generations.
But its all still depends, just like what other past generation says to the next generations, some are like spoiled, soft, dont know what is hardwork, etc. These are just common sayings from past gen to new gen. But in reality they are adapting what the past gen created to have easier and comfort life. Maybe we will see a far better improvement of this innovations created by the the new gen in reference from the past gens.

Those born after the year 2000, I see them as those who were born in a unique time of transition and growth from analog to the digital era, where most things are being digitalized. Someone can really earn from the comfort of your home through the internet.
After the year 2000, the world saw many changes in technological advancements, music and entertainment, economy, fashion, and global events.
I can say that people born after 2000, are the ones who are going through a time the world is experiencing rapid changes, technological advancement, and mindset being changed

My father used to tell me, how in his childhood he, together with friends were crafting something all the time, dissembled found electronics and managed to build radio analogue and amplifier (managed to catch and listen radio waves), found details from various junk, engines and electronics and assembled that to a bycicle, turning it into sort of a motorcycle.
I was born in 80s, remember being busy all the childhood outside. Managing to earn some cash, from selling newspapers to helping adults. Tried to help at building site. I remember I was trying to make something from bottle glass; vase, decoration, something.
And from younger generation today I see that most of the time they are able to create digital content only. Either film, draw or do basics like clicks or taps. So I see how people went from being super creative, to being primitive thanks to technologies that simplified life.

They got the potential but they are not making use of it.
Next generation is always one step better from the previous and that's how the evolution worked but are we reaching a point that we not going to get any better especially with the AI, we are building something that will think for us. If we combine these things then it could be terrifying to imagine such bad scenario.

Everything could be learnt naturally along the way and knowing that youth to day is really that being that perceptive when it comes to different ways and methods on and could be able to learn up on whats the best possible things that they would be needing up to do. They can easily adapt and they can easily that known on what are those things. Although it will really be that still important on having that guidance on which we can say that this is a must but we do know that not all the time that this one could really be that applied due to some circumstances. When it comes to lifestyle and engagement on different things then its not shocking that they would be coming up on different decisions.
