Title: Can AI Predictions Be Trusted for Crypto Investments?
Post by: Olamide20000000012 on January 17, 2025, 04:26:04 PM
Hello guys, this is going to be funny, but I just decided to try my luck. Remember that Elon Musk has an AI like ChatGPT called Grok, and there's been a lot of hype about it lately. So, I decided to follow the trend by asking questions about AI-backed projects in cryptocurrency, such as FET, OCEAN, and AGIX. I asked about their future potential and whether they had the tendency to go bullish.

The AI provided a beautiful analysis, starting from their whitepapers, and even mentioned that there are many new and solid projects like FARM that are getting listed soon and will follow the trend of these projects.
Although I will soon go and DYOR concerning the project to see if it is actually solid like the AI said.
Now, here's my question: Do you think AI predictions should actually be followed?

Actually AI or Artificial intelligence can't predicting accurate with bitcoin or crypto investment price but some time have indicate way about potential price in the future when asking any coins before investing.
AI is human product and we know never have any one can't predict 100% accurate with bitcoin or altcoin price in the future will raise up or down, many indicator make bitcoin or cryptocurrency going up and down such as whale make huge movement assets until government decision by publishing good or bad news make impact significant for cryptocurrency price.

The narrative like AI still follows the same as the other narrative. When Memecoins was hyped, all the memecoin also rises in price as its pumped during bull season. The trading view chart is also using AI afaik.

FET and few others I think have also pumped these days but when it's over, all of them will also be sinking. The more we see them rnot dying though, it will still come up in the next bull season.

If human can't predict the price of Bitcoin in the future, how much more with AI that is made by us. And if AI can predict accurately, the owner would not offer this to us. Surely they will go hide and keep making profit by his product. But I believe that you can get a necessary information with AI such Chatgpt, most information that you need can be found in them. Many people get benefit from AI, not only in crypto.

Both AI and human predictions should not be the only basis why you choose a project. You cannot trust what others say when you want to put your money into something, that is why people do not give financial advice to others. I don't know about this projects in your op, but i hope they are not pump and dump projects and you are not just promoting them here.

AI was created by humans.
AI is told to predict crypto investments.

Is this a confusing step for all of you?

If we have sufficient knowledge about crypto, why should we use AI to predict that the project will be good?
It is better to use our common sense to research information about new crypto projects, if it feels good then we join and if not then we just leave it easily.

Human cannot predict the future or any coin, and why will AI that was created by human be able to predict the future of any coin. The volatile nature of the market makes cryptocurrency difficult to predict the next moment. Human program AI with what they know and not what they don't.

Something like that will be created in the future, but i don't think it will be shown publicly.

No, the data you see may be manipulated and therefore AI advice may be misleading or for promotional purposes.

Generally most AI coins projects are just copies of old projects and do not contain any real development.

It is a trend and speculation in the price but the long-term trend is correction.

I have heard about Grok but did not tested it for this purpose yet, it is good to know that there is one ai bot that give accurate data and if this bot is integrated into the Twitter than that's more better because as far as I know it can also give us the information about the posts and what most of the famous investors think about that project.

I also saw that the automated bot aixbt which is totally automated which is hard to beleive and if we ask such questions to it in the comments maybe it repondes back with a answer which can be ver valuable too. These ai bots are getting more advance day by day with ai agents the new era has started.

Nobody can predict the future so does AI even AGI, but it can be considered as one of the factor while doing your research though.

Even the AI used might gave you some sort of warning or disclaimer that you should not take it as financial advice or something like that because it's a tool that analyse past data and give some suggestions but it's not going to predict the future.

....
AI also certainly has weaknesses and of course AI cannot be trusted to predict cryptocurrency-based projects. I also noticed that when using AI to ask questions, there must be wrong or inaccurate answers.
I think it's better to use personal experience to predict a project in cryptocurrency or ask a friend who already understands cryptocurrency first, I think that's a way to avoid mistakes caused by AI.

Now, here's my question: Do you think AI predictions should actually be followed?
Without a doubt, AI analysis are indeed quite insightful and quite credible and they mostly often provide valuable information, but still it’s not advisable to solely rely on this predictions or take those decisions as an investment advice.
This is because ai models are only trained on specific areas and data and even when ai undergoes extensive training, there’s still every possibility of making certain mistakes or overlooking crucial factors.
Plus, the crypto market is full of volatility and uncertainty, and is also influenced by several variable factors which makes it even more difficult for humans to even predict it with certainty.

No, they should not be followed but you can use them as your guide to learn more and explore more...then it would be your decision whether to go for this or that. I understand that just like researching in Google, using AI can be the new way to gain more insights and the big difference is that with AI the information can be presented in such a nice, logical and easily actionable way. As what I said, with AI we can have a good guide but things still have to rest on you or us. In relation to this, I am getting more interested with AI Agents and this can be where we are leading to...hope you can also explore this arena and tell us your experience with it. There is no question that AI is the future and that future can already be on us...and this is just the beginning of many more developments that can amaze all of us and can game-change many facets of our lives.

I think you need to ask more questions before you can answer the thread title OP. Do we know how AI arrives at its conclusion? Do we know if they're summarising what people posted on social media and filtering out paid reviews? Do we know if the information on their whitepaper or other sources is reliable? Does the AI get trained with enough market data to analyze market trends? Etc. Too many uncertainties and I sure as hell won't trust them unless I know the answers to those questions.
