The announcement raised doubts about its authenticity, with some wondering if Trump’s account had been hacked, but the coin’s location and design, similar to Trump’s previous NFT collections, run by CIC Digital, bolstered the legitimacy of the announcement.

The current circulating supply is 200 million, with the potential to expand to 1 billion within the next three years, according to the source.
The project founders and CIC Digital own a large stake of 72% of the coin.
Reactions were divided, with some welcoming the move while others, such as “ZachXBT”, expressed their doubts.
The value of the coin has risen significantly, reaching a market cap of more than $4.5 billion, which has put it in the top 40 altcoins list.

Yes, I found out about $TRUMP a few hours ago after checking the coin performance on coinmarketcap... the price growth of this TRUMP meme coin is really very drastic... I even saw it when the price was $60... but a few hours later the price dropped to $45....
Initially I doubted the authenticity of the person who launched this meme coin, was it really from Donald Trump's side, or from another party who took advantage of this moment? However, after the tweet came two days ago, and there was no confirmation that it was not in a hacked status, then it is certain that this is indeed a coin released by Donald Trump....
With very high fluctuations, I fully understand that the price growth can be very fast, even this has greater potential than DOGE because it is regulated by a large authority that oversees the US government for the next 4 years... they are pro crypto and the opportunity to become an expensive coin is very high.

I realized that there are many other memecoins taking advantage of the immense popularity of Trump but I think this is the official one and in CMC this is called as OFFICIAL TRUMP to weed out others that might claim to be the genuine one. The rise of Trump is spectacular and among other coins it is the one that got the excitement and the energy of DJT's inauguration and with timing ands good marketing it is now valued billions of dollar. Of course, we can't predict what can be...and if this can sustain its price into the coming months but for now we can say it is making some history just like the man it is "memeing" from.
Then in CMC we also have the OFFICIAL MELANIA (http://https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/melania-meme/OFFICIAL MELANIA)a new rising star now worth 2 billion dollar...then I read somewhere in X someone thought of entering BARRON into the race (though am not sure if that was an official memecoin too). Next time around we might see a memecoin based on the name of the dog of Trump (if there can be a White House dog this time). We are officially under memecoin attack by the Trump family now (LOL).

Yes, that's right, Trump Meme had a market cap of $71 billion at its peak, beating PEPE and SHIB and leaving only DOGE in front of it, but now with its price dropping, its market cap has dropped to $21 billion and its ranks have dropped in front of SHIB and it is ranked 29th in the market, this is amazing in just a few days.

The value of the token is not as high as it was on the day of the launch, but it has the potential, in my opinion, to get there again with one post from President Donald Trump about it again.
There are many who have already sold the coin, some still holding. I think it is still okay to hold.
