Since the token has not been officially announced by Mark Zuckerberg, this token is a scam and at best a high-risk investment will lead to loss.
Be careful of people who promote such investments.

Just like the many Elon memecoins and even those tying up with the name of Trump and MAGA, these are not officially released and endorsed coins but can just be categorized as fan-based memecoins taking advantage of someone's popularity with the hope of making some big bucks along the way - both for the devs and the early supporters. Just like in the real world, the cryptocurrency industry and specifically the memecoin sector are plagued with copy-cats though there are some that made it to the moon but many just end up with nothing on their bags. I am not a big fan of Mark Zuckerberg and his Meta business so I am not biting this one but then I am hoping it can gain some traction and success in this very open crypto market. By the way, Mark Z. was actually an enemy of Trump before until he realized that he is winning and then he made a turnaround (LOL).

This is a scam that they didn't even bother to remove the Trump coin wrapper and replace it with Mark Zuckerberg, plus the word fight is not associated with Mark and he doesn't have a positive attitude towards cryptocurrencies.

Some opportunist has come up with the brilliant and original idea of changing Trump's photo with Zuckerberg's and launching another worthless token for hundreds or thousands of clueless people to buy. Many people will lose their investment and only one will profit. But no one should be alarmed, this is just the beginning of the horde of useless tokens that are going to flood the market. There are still many CEOs missing, Apple, Amazon, Google... It's a matter of time as people wait for Trump to deliver on his Bitcoin promises.

Most of the time trading or interacting with newly launched meme coins are basically at your own risk especially if you are not an experienced person in the Meme coin ecosystem. The thing is these days faking a coin has basically become so easy that you find out that almost every meme coin out there has a double and a fake double to be precise.
It can be a little difficult for you to differentiate them sometimes especially in cases where they both have an unverified status when you look out their contract address via an explorer.

Exactly. And I don't really see Mark Zuckerberg to be launching his own memecoin as he is more focused on his Meta group of business in the social media sphere. Now, this $ZUCk is just another fan token which is not being endorsed & recognized by the one whose name the token is named from. So in other words, get in and be aware of the risks involved as we don't know if this is really a serious one or will just fly away at a slight problem and left its many investors crying silently. Well, what can expect with a memecoin, anyway. Will $ZUCK sucks or will it make one sick with a lot of money?

Looks suspicious, could something like this cause major legal problems? Considering that it uses someone else's name for personal gain... wouldn't this also affect someone's reputation?

Judging from the responses from friends here, it seems that many have realized that this token is most likely a scam token... it's common in the memecoin space, where many people will take advantage of and imitate something that has just skyrocketed.

Is this MMGA? Make Meta Great Again? Lol.

Many things are coming out, and you just have to be lucky and be "MEME" enough to get out of the woods of the pump. It's a fun universe. It's fun to participate in that, but you will have to lose a lot of money before you get that big one.

Be careful investing in these types of things.

Suspicious?. It's an insult from start to finish, the "developers" haven't even bothered to change Trump's memecoin slogan, they just changed Trump's face to Zuckerberg's. And the worst of all is that even seeing how shameless and opportunistic this memecoin is, people will buy again and lose money. As for whether the people who launched this memecoin may get into legal trouble for using the Meta company name, I doubt it. The history of cryptocurrencies is full of cases like this and nothing ever happened.

Usually, tokens are created with the usage of mimicking the names of influential names in the memecoin market but it is not exempt from legal implications. If a person produces, sells, utilises someone else’s name without his/her consent, then it might be violation of either the copyright law or defamation law depending on legal regimes of the country. Actually, such cases result in new investors being scammed, which only negatively affects the growth of the ecosystem. This is why more education of people and stricter punishment to project that are clearly made to exploit trends is the only solution.

This will fail, obviously; it's not coming from Facebook and just some random developers trying to create their own cash cow out of Facebook developer Mark Zuckerberg.
People should not just take whatever meme that comes out of the market; this is a short-term project to extract money because there are legal implications if ever this meme stays on.

it has already failed if you search it up you are gonna have to be specific that it is a cryptocurrency otherwise it will not come up that is how unpopular it is and now as i just searched it up its marketcap is at $19k with trading volume of $0 if those are not signs that this is a project that ended up dead then i do not know what it

funny how people will say don't miss out on x project but then those are exactly the projects you would want to miss out on

Speaking of Zucker's past, I am also not a big fan of his. The big reason is that he collapsed his first investor's (Eduardo Saverin's) shares from 33% to 0.33%, as shown in the movie (documentary). Although he is still doing good, I still do not understand why he did that. I also heard that on Christmas Eve, Zucker called a meeting, and one of his employees refused, and he fired him.

I do use Meta products like IG, WhatsApp, Facebook and I don't know if there are any others, and I am not aware of that. It is not like I want to use them, but we have no other product to replace it. Even if this meme were real, I wouldn't trade it.

Seeing this should not be a surprise anymore to us, because we already have a numbers of related tokens that have impersonated on the names of these public figures and they perform nothing at the end, just type the coin trump and see the numbers that will appear on you, same applies to this one and some other prominent names, after all, this was not verifies from his official handle and if it was, i cant still invest because I've learnt a lot from Trump coin.

In my opinion, the reality is that even if Zuckerberg had announced this token, it would still be garbage, identical to Trump's coin. A useless token, whose sole purpose was to lose hundreds of millions of dollars to investors, which would end up in the wallets of a few. Any cryptocurrency user/investor with a modicum of critical thinking would stay away from tokens like this. But we know how this world is, we can't ask the apple tree for coconuts, and what prevails is money above any ethics or morals.

Everyone is more cautious about meme coins now because we have seen a lot of scams and meme coin deaths since 2024. Especially if you are not an experienced person in the meme coin ecosystem interacting with meme coins is basically at your own risk. Moreover, meme coins are entering the market quickly, making it very easy to create a fake meme coin. Some opportunist came up with the brilliant and original idea of launching yet another worthless token to buy some fools to change trump image with zuckerberg. Many people will lose their investments and the only one who will gain is the people of the community.

Be careful of people who promote such investments.
Lots of oddities in this cryptocurrency, including taking the names of others, especially famous people like Mark Zuckerberg. Maybe their intention is to attract a lot of interest to buy a $ zuck meme token.
When referring to the profiteering of the names of people without the real permission of the original owner, usually in our region we will get punishment from the government and the fine is also quite expensive. Maybe in cryptocurrency does not apply to the law because it could be the creator of this $ zuck token privacy.

In conclusion, it might be better to avoid strange tokens that do not have official listings or announcements from famous people so that we can save our funds from scammers.

This will fail, obviously
--snip--

It's already failed. This thread created 3 months ago, but SolScan shows there's only 43 holders where last transfer happened 1 month ago. I can't even it's price chart, since there are many token with same/similar name.

Their intention is not "maybe" to attract interest and investors, their intention is 100% to attract attention and investors, most of whom will lose their investment. As I said, this token simply capitalized on the momentum of the Trump token, in fact, the image is the same, except Trump's face has been replaced with Zuckerberg's. Both tokens have the same purpose, to make a very few earn a lot, and they also share the use cases, none. It's a very dangerous game, in which the same people always lose, those who arrive a minute late.
