Title: What's Next for Solana After Hitting Its ATH?
Post by: DegenLifestyle on February 02, 2025, 01:02:19 PM

Hi everyone, The crypto market is bleeding heavily—what could be the cause? $SOL recently hit an all-time high (ATH) of $300, and based on technical analysis, I believe it could drop to the order block (OB) around $188 before continuing its upward trend.
(https://i.ibb.co/JWg6JkLq/Screenshot-2025-02-02-13-01-22-18-f64c0fa2acb54796de48adb5b80a6314.jpg) (https://ibb.co/mrgZWzs0)
Since Q4 of last year, I’ve been buying dips on major tokens, and I consider Solana one of them due to its ecosystem's relevance to meme coins, DeFi, and other narratives. Now that the price might be at a discount, what could be the best risk-free method to accumulate more? Options like bounties/giveaways, trading, or dollar-cost averaging (DCA) come to mind.

Also, based on your experience, where do you think Solana could be by the end of the year (EOY)?

This drop was excellent for those who managed to buy SOL because it reached 180 dollars and quickly rose, and is now at 212 dollars
I consider any value below 200 dollars a good buy because Solana is performing well and there are good things happening on the network
It has much better prospects for the future than ETH, for example, which is recovering more and more badly

I'm not a good trader and I don't like doing it that much, but my best tip would be to accumulate SOL below 200 dollars and use stake or restake protocols to get an income from SOL if you have long-term plans.

Yes, just like my analysis. SOL is currently around $201. ETH isn’t what it used to be, so projects like SOL and SUI have more momentum—though Erik Trump tweeting about ETH could make a difference. By the way, SOL staking is a good offer too; I staked SOL for bgsol a while ago. I also noticed an ongoing trading competition to accumulate SOL. Now that the market has stabilized a bit, I’ll venture into that.

Well eth has the staggers. So solana can make hay in terms of users.

Eth does not have the room to grow that solana has.

but a lot depends on developers.

so far eth has never recovered from the switch to pos.

solana avoided that issue.

though the recent, dip was scary , It was a good opportunity to buy and add to once alt Holding. I also remember the BGsol  I checked it out back then the APR was quite interesting, I think I also saw some sol event on bitget while on the app been checking out your trade spot and futures to win Sol reward.  thank God market is gaining momentum again

With very good fundamentals, the DCA method will be very safe to buy solana gradually and you can sell it at a high price later... in the long term, I believe solana will be able to survive and generate profits, even the potential of this coin is still very good because it has a use case that is not much different from ETH...

The memecoin trend is more crowded on the solana network, and there is a big possibility that other trends that will emerge in the future will also be on the solana network.

SOL eco is becoming more and more interesting.
Even though it has its parts to work around and upgrade, potential-wise, SOL is in a great position, especially going long-term.

The success of memecoins on Sol is both good news and bad news for this ecosystem. The good news is that it makes Sol more vibrant and popular, the bad news is that it makes Sol dependent on memecoins instead of more sustainable trends in the market.

I love memecoins but I don't invest in them. SOL may reach a new ATH after the explosion of the TRUMP token but it will be difficult to continue growing strongly like that solely driven by memecoins. If the SOL price cannot continue to grow, I am afraid that it will have to fall back to its own equilibrium price.

There is no new hope from Solana because Solana is now Dump again following the market trend. Solana has lost a few percent of what happened so far from the all time high which is priced at around 263 dollars. Just look at the Solana coin now in the cryptocurrency market around 193 dollars and I checked it on Coingecko.
I can't compare it with other altcoins but I'm sure that Solana is still able to survive in the cryptocurrency world, it just depends on the Dev to continue developing the Solana coin.

There is no such as thing as risk-free as all things we are doing can cost us money, time or even both. Risks are the things that make the world more exciting and a lot less boring depending on where you are at the equation. Now, maybe the best thing to do is to do DCA for Solana though I have not yet tried it yet but the idea can be good enough for anyone to consider. The dip right now can be the best time to accumulate more as we know that Solana is already one of the few assets known to have that important REBOUND POWER just like Bitcoin and Ethereum. In December of this year, I am expecting SOL to be at $500 (if bullrun will continue) though for sure am not good at predicting things...so maybe it can even be $250 (if bear will takeover the market) the reverse  to what I want it to be.

Well Solana does have rebounding power BTC does have rebounding power. Eth not so sure.

Also the musky trumpeter factor has the markets spooked bigly. I am doing some careful DCA for BTc and also pulling some cash out to be ready if shit goes sideways or way down.

Solana is on my short list for purchases.

Solana is on my short list for purchases.

I'll watch the price this weekend, if it drops below 190 dollars I think I'll buy a bit of SOL
But below 200 dollars seems like a good price to buy too, since I use it in DeFi and to farm some airdrops, so it's a good investment for me

I don't have much stables right now (USDT), and SOL is one of my only buying options

It seems that Solana's bull cycle will be almost the same as other altcoins, where the altcoin season will be the peak of the SOL price increase as well. And after that, if the bearish happens, like it or not, the SOL price will definitely crash too. Whether it will be as bad as other altcoins or not, it will depend on how the developers and teams also handle it so that it can survive and not go very badly.

If the altcoin season occurs in Q4 for example, then that means the SOL price in Q4 might peak, but it doesn't necessarily happen in some month. and here, we sometimes find it difficult to predict what the highest ATH will be achieved by SOL in the altcoin season, and in which month exactly, it's all still speculation and prediction.

Solana's performance is the second worst after DOGE for the current bearish period (for the top 20 ranks), where in the last 7 days the price of solana has fallen by 15% and will continue until April because there will be an unlock period that causes SOLANA's price to inflate. For those holding solana, I hope you can be patient for the next few months, and for those who still have FIAT, you can buy solana gradually until April, or precisely until the unlock period for the solana token ends.

Solana's journey is still very far. and Solana's competition is also getting tighter with other projects that are indeed top, especially BNB. so, when SOL has reached its ATH, SOL should be able to continue to achieve even greater achievements and pass the ATH again. And can develop its project to be wider and more trusted. And another important thing is to get a higher market cap, compete with BNB and be able to exceed it without being able to be taken over again. but once again, this competition is tight, so, SOL must also try hard to compete again with BNB.

And at the right time, it can also be ascertained that during the bull run, like other cryptos, the price of SOL will definitely crash too.

Solana is obviously still a growing altcoin and network. The thing is it has relatively more hype and as a result of the number of coins and tokens being launched under its network. Although Solana is having a decent improvement in price it's having a majority of pullbacks, which seems to be slowing down its price progression.

I've come across a couple of discussions where people debate that ethereum network would be surpassed by Solana but that is a big move we are talking. Solana still has a long way to go.

Yeah, although the correction is quite severe for SOL price, this is completely normal after a very strong wave of price increase. Currently, SOL price is being very well supported around $130, SOL holders can rest assured and wait for information from the macro economy to prepare for the upcoming bullrun.

SOL has been mentioned and added to the investment fund of the United States, although this is not as positive as being on par with BTC in the role of strategic reserve, this is also a success that SOL has achieved after the difficulties in 2022. I hope SOL price can continue to conquer higher ATHs, for example $500 or even $1K in 2025 ^^

Honestly, at the end of 2022, it seemed that Solana was doomed to fail due to the collapse of FTX and the fact that Alameda had unstaked and liquidated a lot of SOLs. But as we can see, Solana not only recovered but also reached a new ATH. This is truly impressive, and those users who believed in SOL at the end of 2022 and held it until the ATH are definitely lucky.

Yes, it was really doubtful what happened to Solana. but they really were able to make this project rise again and build trust to be stronger. and the results can now really be enjoyed. It's just that Solana's movement will continue to grow. unfortunately, in the past few months the market has dropped very badly. and this is indeed happening not only in Solana but also other cryptocurrencies so it doesn't have to be too big for now, just need to prioritize patience if our target is to hold SOL for the long term.

this shows how with the right team, they would be able to turn things around but this will not always be the case not every project will succeed after temporarily dying just like how solana did so we can say that solana definitely is special

Don't panic about the downturn happening now, this is the best opportunity to get in and buy more SOL at a cheaper price.
Remember that after the decline there will be an increase that we didn't even expect.

SOLANA will probably reach a higher ATH, just wait for Bitcoin to experience a reversal for a higher rally.
The market depends on how Bitcoin moves and those who panic will just throw it away.

Oh yeah, this is like a selection process. There must be those who fail to pass the bearish test, there are those who survive but there is no definite movement and progress, and there are those who are able to survive and finally go beyond the good process, so that they can even rise to the top of the altcoins. It is also quite important to consider when you want to invest in the long term in a bearish era, because you have to know which ones can be used for the long term or not.

the price fall was Trump as the agenda is for trump to cool off the market.

You're right—$300 was a massive ATH, and a correction down to the $188 order block makes sense technically. It’s actually healthy for assets to retrace after big runs. That area you mentioned could act as a strong demand zone before another leg up.

Many say that Solana will be the Ethereum killer in the future, but we have to look at Ethereum which has been proven to always be the number two coin after Bitcoin. It still takes a long time for Solana to be able to compete and beat Ethereum. BNB also has the opportunity for that, but I see Ethereum is still strong

It is correct that some new blockchains such as Solana and BNB having certain fascinating innovations still, Ethereum has a crucial edge concerning usage as well as the development of decentralised apps. Ethereum has been applied and tried out in different market conditions and I still believe it has its attractiveness to developers following the upgrades. Nevertheless, there is still a distinct advantage of Ethereum in the competition with Solana and BNB, as well as more support from the community that let the project stay as one of the leaders in the cryptocurrency market in the nearest future.

          -     Right now if I read the chart price of 150$ as of the moment it looks like this night it is possible that it will drop to 145$ and if it breaks down it is possible that it will drop even further to 137$ just according to my analysis right now.

Then Solana is also one of the top altcoins that when the price of bitcoin rises in the market, there is also a sudden rally in the price of Solana. Meaning, SOL is not holding back its price either.

ethereum is honestly not doing that well these days but is doing enough to keep itself second to bitcoin and not let any coin outshine itself still it will take a lot for another coin to emerge ahead of ethereum especially given its history and as for bnb i do not know if a coin associated with a platform but since it is widely used anyway i guess it will be not so much of a problem

ethereum indeed remains in second place CMC even though it has not shown good movement in the crypto market for the past two years.
BNB still shows its potential as a coin from the largest exchange.
And solana in the past two years, has shown good progress because many hype meme coins use this network.
