i passed by to a friends house just yesterday. but only his wife was there. so i found out my friend who i introduced to Bitcoin been very excited to tell her wife about crypto whenever there is a news linking crypto in paying payrolls to criminals. she said he been very excited like criminal ;D

^ That level of excitement probably means your friend invested the money meant for the family's saving and he had to convince his wife that it's the right decision ;D
At this stage, I'm probably desensitized already about bitcoin making 'appearance' on tv whether it's news or mentioned in a show.

Right now, not anymore as Bitcoin and the whole cryptocurrency thing are already mainstream and MMS is not anymore strange to this idea. In 2025 during the Trump Era, mention of Bitcoin and cryptocurrency in MMS is already considered to be just part of the news and it has already lost its "newness" to it. Bitcoin has had been mentioned in many movies already and subjected to many documentaries portraying its positive and even "negative" sides for all people to understand and assimilate. I will be again excited once the plan of USA to make Bitcoin part of the monetary reserve can be coming true...and some other countries following the same path and treatment of the Crypto King.

Bitcoin has had been mentioned in many movies already and subjected to many documentaries portraying its positive and even "negative" sides for all people to understand and assimilate. I will be again excited once the plan of USA to make Bitcoin part of the monetary reserve can be coming true...and some other countries following the same path and treatment of the Crypto King.
I think the direction is towards a unified world currency eventually.

yes and no.
i am excited because it means if bitcoin is being reported in the national tv then it is getting more exposure which is especially important because bitcoin is not yet as well known in my country but at the same time it would not be exciting if the news is bad and spreading misinformation

Very excited... and maybe even my family members will realize it, but they never want to know about Bitcoin.. yes I am quite comfortable with this condition, rather than being forbidden to know Bitcoin..
Good news and bad news from national media will always be noticed by me, especially in newspapers and television... on the internet media, it is already too much and the majority of the content they upload is for monetization, so it is less informative.
For news on television, it will really interest me even though I understand a little that the purpose of the news is to try to manipulate the market... yes their predictions are very funny and even often contradict the predictions of friends who are shared here... so, I just laugh silently and watch the news until it's finished.... it's very interesting because I am quite familiar with Bitcoin, while none of my family wants to know more about Bitcoin.

No matter how much I tried explaining to my partner what BTC and Blockchain, she been very supportive. But whenever I ask her to send her Binance deposit BTC address to me, she has to ask how she can find it.
But those who are excited ones are the ones who really are trying to learn about and know how he can make money out of it. Or may Bitcoin is really a men thing.

Sincerely i do actually..
Mainly because it feels good to actually see a project that started from scratch with no much incitements and engagement also but fast forward to today, this same project controls nations and is made to use international transactions and the rest of them.
I think it kinda motivates me personally to take risks and build up my self despite objections and insentives from people around me.

The more Bitcoin is televized, the more awareness and interest from the general public which will also increase adoptions over times. In short, it is a welcome development to see Bitcoin on National television regularly.
In my opinion, the crypto community needed this exposure to bring more enthusiasm to the crypto community. I will be happy to watch Bitcoin discussion on national television, to me, it is a boosts on everything related to cryptocurrency

I don't watch TV so I can know whether they appear on the TV or not. :D
So I am going to relate this with the movies, on some movies and series bitcoin was mentioned in words or visuals which made me happy cause I am sure many people will notice that and consider it as something that may leads to the adoption a bit more.

When I first got to know crypto and Bitcoin, the news about BTC that was broadcast on TV certainly made me excited, there must be a happy feeling because I felt that Bitcoin was being watched. However, after being here for a long time, BTC news on TV or in other media seems to have become commonplace and nothing special. Because actually the pros and cons of Bitcoin will always be there from time to time.

Yeah of course and whether it was positive or negative I always said to myself that what was on the news helps me and my family with our daily needs. I am proud to say to my family in front of the news that crypto can always be used to do good and bad things but on our part crypto give us the chance to survive. That is why their negative thoughts slowly fades because when the time I did not explain to them what is crypto they always say negative things like scam. 😅

I only like the positive news and feedback; negative feedback will make people who don't understand how cryptocurrency works shy away from using and investing in cryptocurrency, this is the problem of our country we are slow in adoption because the mainstream is giving cryptocurrency bad image, so I make it a point to only share positive news and updates on cryptocurrency.

thats what i thought so. just like the fiat system that can do good and can always be used in a bad way as well. two sides in every coin.
when i told my friend Bitcoin was used to buy drugs online, he said so is the paper money we have today. we can use them to buy just about anything. but he is excited whenever Bitcoin is flashed on TV, the negative news about it is still a good news for its promotion.

The concept of Bitcoin is designed in such a way that anyone who knows about it will be encouraged to invest in it. His wife is very knowledgeable and has good knowledge about technology and that's why he is very excited about Bitcoin and Crypto.
If anyone is passionate about crypto, he should be allowed to enjoy it because the world of the future will be the world of crypto. People who don't know about cryptography who don't know about Bitcoin will be left behind in the future. So I appreciate his wife's excitement.

For me here in my country, it is very exciting to hear Bitcoin mentioned in the local news because Bitcoin is still very limited here and many people do not know anything about Bitcoin. So I feel curious and excited when I hear Bitcoin news on local TV.
However, recently a new government came to power and it seems that they are interested in Bitcoin and want to legalize Bitcoin in the country. It is very happy to see the government interested in legalizing Bitcoin after all these years of neglect and ignorance.

Well it is really exciting if we saw the new about BTC on television, not only in tv but also in some social media apps , specially when the news is about how btc works to make earnings, but if the news is about how btc being used by some criminals to victimized others to earn like scamming then it is not an exciting news for me.

Its nothing bad to get excited about crypto and bitcoin in particular, but we must be careful of how we express our excitement in other not to portray another image entirely with other people around us, as we know, not everyone is a fan of bitcoin, some will even talk that to your face, also, knowing about the way other people think on crypto is important before we even engage with them on any discussion about bitocin.

I don't think I have ever sit and watch TV where Bitcoin is been talk about, unless there is a particular movie where such is been represented and when I see it, I do get happiness from it, that's how I like seeing Bitcoin even though some films portray the bad side of it, I don't care because film can show good side and also bad depending on their story line.
The ones I do see on news are most of the time on when I'm watching YouTube connected to my TV, I do get excitement to let others that visit me watch some good news from Bitcoin podcasts and daily news about Bitcoin.

I know the feelings of, when you know about Bitcoin and its potential newly. you will feel like telling the people around you about bitcoin, to know about it the same way you did. That's what I noticed that your friend did. He feel excited about bitcoin, and telling his wife feels okay for him.
Many of us, informed our family members when we know about Bitcoin newly but at times goes on, we begin to find out that not all our family members will love or invest in Bitcoin the same way we do. But if we have those family members that love Bitcoin, we let them know about the basic knowledge of Bitcoin so that whether they hear about the positive or negative news about Bitcoin, they will remain strong in their Bitcoin accumulation.

Have been in both positions, namely negative news and positive news about Bitcoin and crypto. And both of them became very explosive at that time, which made pros and cons occur in society. Even now it is still like that.
So, the point is, it will depend on what type of news:
- negative news: Of course, this will make ordinary people who don't understand crypto immediately swallow the news raw crypto material, including Bitcoin, is a scam, is haram, and so on, even many think that it is like online gambling (even though it is very different).
- positive news: Makes people FOMO, but at least, the public knows that BTC or crypto in general has a positive side and introduces crypto more widely so that the public can weigh and study crypto in more detail before deciding whether it is good or bad.

When national television stations in my country broadcast programs about cryptocurrency, it's good for a while, but then it gets frustrating when there are no updates from the country. Since crypto currencies have not been approved in my country yet, especially since our parliament and central bank have not yet enacted any laws on Bitcoin, instead declaring it a banned currency. When there is a positive discussion about Bitcoin on television, even if it is temporarily liked, that liking does not last long because even if the discussion continues, it is limited to discussion only and does not provide any updates on the acceptability of Bitcoin.

Only if the company is right we may express how we feel for real, because otherwise, there may be so-called fiat maxis and so on, and that would be just time wasted trying to get to them sometimes.

this is definitely good news and i would be delighted if my national tv was reporting this but sometimes media can control what kind of narrative they want to push so they might not put out news like this but if someone is well updated among social media circles or also follows international news outlets then he can get ahead of his country and know what is real beyond what is being pushed in his country

News about bitcoin and cryptocurrency has been spreading across the globe through TV channels and TV shows, there is nothing wrong when the news are shared or when you passes the information to people around us. Though realistically i am always happy because what I believed on or the technology is wide spreading across and more people are getting adoption and new people such as companies and institution are adopting to the technology.

That is okay because not everyone has an idea of what Bitcoin is even if it has been in existence for years. I even consider as a young investment and asset that whoever gets in are still earlier than the majority of the world. So, consider yourself as one of the earliest in your country and you are on advantage if you ever are holding Bitcoins ever since. Bad or good news, Bitcoin and the crypto market is here to stay while those skeptics will keep missing the point of its opportunities.

I think those is common in most countries generally.the news doesnt mostly offer talks on crypyo j guess apart from chit chat about these bullish turns and the rest of them.for example where i come from,talks about btc or crypto are scarcely mentioned,infact i doubt if i have ever heard bout talk relating to crypyo apart from social media boogs and the rest of them. I hope to hear arguments about crypyo in the news one day soon.

I'm not sure how popular TV is nowadays, probably only middle to lower-class citizens use them. This is why I don't feel anything if some media cover crypto news. Even if it contributes to FOMO or fud, the effect is probably small considering most traders look at social media instead of national TV for news sources. It doesn't help that the reputation for national TV isn't great to begin with.

I do observe on the same thing or pretty sure that all of us do really sees up on the current situation or position on what social media is doing then we can say that TV stations are really that being affected when it comes to viewers which most people will be focusing that much into their own phones rather than on watching TV and thats why when it comes to news and other fundamentals wont really be that focused that much but if it turned out to be that there are some news neither positive or negative then it could be making out such effect on the market or not. It will really be that up to you on how you do deal up with the market movements basing up into these approach.

These days I barely listen to my national TV as I mostly do research and surf the internet, listening to podcasts, YouTube, and other stations that impart knowledge and give me a good insight into what I desire to learn and have knowledge about. Although it is not a bad thing to be excited if Bitcoin is televised on national TV and as such it shows that the government recognizes it and allows for its broadcasting because I believe that before anything is been televised on national TV, it must have been vetted so therefore, it means that the government is also creating awareness about bitcoin by just televising it to her citizens through their national TV.

Youtube is where people watch the news already. We rarely turn on TV these days but the TV is also meant for Netflix anymore, the smart TV connects the internet which if we have no internet we also don't have something on TV.
But I do agree that its still interesting to see crypto on national news. It doesn't happen everyday where Bitcoin is being talked about where the host talks to someone like a coin developer or a CEO of an excahnge company.

I always share such informations to my friends, brothers and whoever show some interest in listening because I love to discuss this with everyone, I have made a family group where I share such discussions and share new airdrops that I join and ask everyone to join new airdrops on their own and share the links there so together we could find more earning opportunities.
In short I can't resist the urge to share such information with others. BTW what do you mean your friend's wife was very excited like criminals I did not catch the humor here lol.

New regulations related to Bitcoin are already very friendly because Trump has promises to make a crypto friendly regulations for Bitcoin where he said miners won't pay taxes and many other things.

It can be exciting to find something that you talked about to people now being shown on something as public as a television set. It proves first that you are informed, and the information from you can be trusted.

And unfortunately, various media on national TV news will definitely broadcast bad news and also good news. Yes, it was very good news for me that the new government is interested in Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, I was surprised, frankly, I did not expect that.

Are you directly saying that government Carry's out bad intention we should keep quiet and accept everything they do? Of course I know those who lives in the third world country are always very scared of the government and what the government are turning into is somewhat alarming as they don't want the innocent to breath due to their bad influence on the society. Government in one way or the other has tried their best to make sure they pulled down bitcoin or even subject bitcoin to be in their control but guess that is above, because even Satoshi the sole creator is no place to be found so bitcoin will be very hard to be controlled by government.

Bitcoin is still unregulated in my country but the government doesn't also ban it so there is nothing to worry still. The news that comes out all the time about crypto is negative actually.

We can speak and it's left for them to either do what the masses said or not, as we know government are the worst set of people that doesn't take any good advise from the masses rather would want to do whatever in their mind, especially that of our country they are often that hard over her citizens without for one day think about the well-being of the masses. For Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency we are free to mention any place but while making transactions we shouldn't include them as statements otherwise such account could be freezed.

i passed by to a friends house just yesterday. but only his wife was there. so i found out my friend who i introduced to Bitcoin been very excited to tell her wife about crypto whenever there is a news linking crypto in paying payrolls to criminals. she said he been very excited like criminal ;D
I feel both the excited and as well feel the contrite about that the news and the tv media many times does provide the actual information to the peoples I am not telling all the media's but most of them avoid the purpose of bitcoin why it was made for.
But currently the media's only promote the increasing price they don't speak why Satooshi Nakamoto invent it , to implement the financial freedom and as well the privacy. And here people also thought that maybe this is something connected to the crime and here the regret is.

Of course this will be a positive development when there is news and it will come when the government has legalized its use for their people. Assumptions of course come differently from the community ranging from smiling, skeptical and comparing as you said above. Yes. the scenario is being run by them in that direction.

Am not even freak by all these, what i always look after is in seing that people understand the way they can use the opportunity in Bitcoin to make the change their lives deserved, what does it profit a man if he is to invest and at the end of the day be in loss by just a single mistake he could have avoided assuming he is aware of it, there could be social media advertisment of bitcoin at one's discretion as long as it's going to be from anonymous source, people really have to get informed of bitcoin and same way we must also protect our privacy.
