We are new to the forum and there are a lot of sections which is making us lost very easily. Can we seek help from forum members to guide us understanding the forum and help us to set a promotion plan for our upcoming bitcoin project?

If you want to post your ANN then you can post it in : Announcement ANN (https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?board=21.0)
And to post your signature or other promotional campaign use the Signature campaign (https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?board=500.0) section.
You will get used to the interface when you spend a little time here so don't worry about that much and also feel free to post your queries about anything here.

You don't have to confused yourself and it is simple to navigate the forum without stress. And mostly those who came from another forum are the ones complain that the forum is hard to understand.
Now on the home page, calm down and stroll up and down to see if you can enter any of the boards. There is Announcements [ANN] where you can check to see if there is any thread to comment on. And also the following boards to make comments and create threads. For Beginners, Cryptocurrency discussions, Cryptocurrency Trading, Forum related, Bitcoin Forum, and others coins, Gambling & Crypto Casinos, General Discussion and local boards. Just visit any of the above boards and make your threads and comments.

Thanks for the information provided about the two boards. We are spending a lot of time to understand different boards and appropriate sections for starting out promotions.
I am familiar with SMF so that's not a problem, in fact there are no problem at all. We need to explore the site more to understand different sections. Our main goal is to create a good business relationship with the community. We will appreciate your suggestions and tips.

Don't worry, the forum layout is very good and you can easily navigate from one section to another and understand it very easily, this is not that hard to understand, plus the instructions a newbie gets from the tutorials and threads already published for the guide of newbies is very easy to get to know about this forum more.
You should spend more time in forum related section because there you can understand how to even promote your project.
If you want to advertise them then you can start your bounty, signature or any other small contest too. Best of Luck.

What kind of campaigns are you planning to run? Are you familiar with signature campaigns, bounty campaigns, review campaigns, etc? You can probably discuss the details of each campaign with an experienced manager, usually the one who starts the campaign thread of a project. The more specific your question is the better we can help you. If you're not familiar with those marketing activities you should look at the bounty/campaign boards and see how it works. It shouldn't take a long time for you to get a general idea of how a marketing activity is conducted here.

And seeking help from forum members would be advisable to make your request public to the visuality of everyone so you can have lot of opinions where you would first which is best for you.
Most importantly, it would help you keep off from being mislead by confiding from users with ulterior motives.

You're welcome to the forum, here you can get the very best you desired once you have an understanding of how things are being done here, there's no need for being worried, you need to be active and keep to learning, there are pinned threads on each sections of the forum, those are the ones I will encourage for you to read through and learn more for a start, then we also have the promotion aspect, where you can choose a manager to help you promote your brand by hiring for one.

SMF forums can be quite confusing sometimes especially if you are not that familiar with them and as a result it will take some time depending on how much active time you have on the forum before you get to understand most of the things you're having issue with. Nevertheless the forum is always open for any questions and you will definitely get members here that will make good suggestions and also help you if you have any issues.
The number of boards may seem much however it's okay for you to also read through their descriptions too because it would help too.

It is true, this thread has already fulfilled its purpose since they have finally been able to launch the ANN and everything is in order, so it doesn't make sense for it to remain open.
