Title: 3 Years of Mining PI: How to Cash In on Listing Day using giveaways on exchanges
Post by: Akinwale Akinkunmi on February 18, 2025, 07:43:50 PM
If you're an active Twitter or crypto community member, you should be aware of the recent project that's been trending. I never thought I'd see the day when Pi Network would capture the attention of the entire crypto space. Apart from its longevity before listing, rumors of it listing at a substantial value have people either celebrating their mining efforts or regretting not mining.
Several exchanges have been vying for the attention of PI holders, offering incentives to deposit and trade on their platforms. Interestingly, Binance, which many thought would never list a project like Pi, has started dropping hints. Gate.io has also given holders access to a launchpool for those who stake their coins. Meanwhile, Bitget has also created events like Deposit & Trade and Candy Bomb, offering over $220k worth of rewards in PI.

Currently i have 117PI and many people have been making different offers to buy it before the listing day, but I'm not selling it. Some offers sounded like scams, and secondly, I don't want to miss the benefits that come with depositing it on an exchange with all the things listed above.

So for PI traders. Are you holding till after TGE or you have deposited it in anticipation??

It's been 10 hours since it was listed on Bitget today, starting at $3.3 if I'm not mistaken, and now its price is around $0.64, which is quite a big drop, if I look at it, it literally feels like a rug pul to me on the first day it was listed on Bitget.

Maybe I'll wait until it drops to $0.001, maybe I'll start buying then hold for a short period of time, let's see what it can reach. And besides, it's just another meme coin that has no utility usage for now to my knowledge.

don't buy any amount for this coin. its obviously not a good start for the project that in a day, its investors didn't wait a day to dump their token. tomorrow the price will be less than a cent. you can't expect the coin rise again.

10k more of its phone miners haven't yet sent their coins to the exchange, they will have their chance when the dust settles $0.001 is not the bottom of this.

I always thought PI was scammy stuff and was going nowhere, so I am very surprised how things turned out. Couple people I know were mining it, so good for them.

I was also surprised to see things turn around for PI and somehow doing well for people that sold already

I don't think problem is with the exchange, but rather the way SHORT traders decided to dump it to make more gains. Some people are wicked to the extent of getting more from the airdrops, and cash out, but we turn back to future trading and short the projects.

I didn't mine it, have none of it tokens, so I don't care where it goes. if I had PI I would have sold it the moment it was transferable and dump it and never look at it again.

Wicked? It's free market.

I have done PI mining more likely 4 or 5 years before when I was new in this industry I was also expecting something good from this shit mining but after seeing their progress I uninstall their apps from my phone even then in the middle time I install that app again and check their status and also my account status also. But at that moment I also uninstalled them again and most of the people were also saying the same thing they were scammer but I am amazed that they were not the scammer but I think it will not be also good idea to invest on it for more expectation I just think this will also go the same way the trump coin go I it is come here for liquidating our money to their pocket.

do you mean you can install and uninstall them easy?  are you importing seed phrase or importing your private keys?

because i know someone with PI in his phone but he said he can't see his app in his phone anymore. i told him if he could remember his seed and he said he can't remember a seed.

just after he replied this, i told him his PI coins are gone already forget it. lol but then can he get it back by logging in?  i have no idea how he was mining it.

Actually, when I did these things I was very new on this space, And what I did I just share here. I don't properly remember on that time it wasn't about the importing or private phase it was just a phone number used for creating account on the pi apps. And what I have done when I had install or the uninstall or again installing that apps.

And more over in this time those peoples were eligible who done their kyc verification and what I haven't done more like I haven't any headache about the pi network that is why I haven't check that again.

I was involved in Pi Network for a while and then gave up, I didn't have faith in the project to succeed from the beginning. It also took a very long time and there were a lot of doubts about the project.

Now that the price has dropped from $3 to $0.6 it has gone back up to $1.5, this is good for the participants who couldn't sell their tokens at the first rise so I expect a large portion of them will sell now and we may see a bigger drop due to the selling pressure.

Good to hear that you have 117 Pi coins but I must tell you the ones who offered you good rates for it are most probably scammers and I have observed myself that many people have looted pi from the miners and those scammers used phishing sites that used to work on Pi's own browser.

one user said he signed up with an email and mine pi coins through their phones. thats just what was needed to mine the pi coins. i told him that  he most probably can recover his account where his pi coins are. the only problem he sees is that the pi coin app doesn't work anymore in his iphone.

he used to access it with the pi browser.  which means they do have a specific PI browser to access his locked coins. i wonder if there is a news about unlocking those coins. he seem very annoyed because he has more than 5k PI coins on it.

seems like unlocking is going to be an issue for the miners.
