Title: ethereum etf gets massive inflows
Post by: bitterguy28 on February 20, 2025, 06:45:23 AM
it seems like people are wanting to get out of bitcoin recently and instead choosing to put their attention and money into altcoins specifically ethereum this month it has been recorded that ethereum etfs (https://pune.news/market/ethereums-momentum-builds-with-upgrade-and-etf-inflows-308700/) got an inflow of $393 million while bitcoin etfs had a net outflow of $376 million

people might be asking when is the altcoin season be happening and this may be the answer it seems like the momentum is with ethereum and possibly other altcoins as well right now

The curious thing is that with every movement the market makes, ETH loses value
Even with a lot of entry via ETFs, I suspect that users have been selling ETH with every small rise, to rotate to other coins

BTC has been rising and has been well sideways, but as I said, every move ETH gets a little cheaper and nowadays it seems difficult to reach 3k again without high selling pressure
The case of ETH, which is supposed to be worth at least 5k according to logic, is quite curious

If investors will stop investing into these new meme coins and wanted to invest their money into something else, the first thing that will comes to their mind are Bitcoin and Ethereum. Unfortunately, that isn't the case right now that's why we are seeing Ethereum, and some of the altcoins going down.

The altcoin market right now is diluted. There isn't that much money being poured towards these top altcoins especially Ethereum that's why we aren't seeing a huge increase just like what happened with BTC. With this massive inflows, this might change everything... or not. It might trigger the start of the altcoin season... or not. Despite of what's happening with the altcoin market though, I still believe that we will have an altcoin season somewhere this year.

lots of people are obsessed with quick easy profit that ethereum is not really providing right now so people are bound to look elsewhere but the fact still stands that ethereum remains dependable and reliable at least for me and this is good sign that it may go up again in the near future

I read your post a lot of curious and verifying on different websites after I see what’s currently entering ithearium, especially what has increased the flow of Eth ETFs. But that doesn’t mean that Bitcoin is going to Ethiam. I thought Bitcoin was still the head of the satisfied market and the first coin. When Bitcoin is stable or slightly decreased, people focus on altcoin, especially on big projects such as Ethereum. ETFs flowed about $393M, which shows that big investors are interested in ETH.

Yes you told absolutely correct i think, Ethereum is really dependable and reliable coin for investment. Now down market so Ethereum price also decreasing. But When Market will up then Ethereum price will also up there has no doubt.  We know that few days ago Ethereum price was near about $4100 and now It's price near about $2050.
I think within short time Ethereum price will up and it will touch minimum $5k i strongly believe it.

Ethereum ETF inflow doesn't pump the ETH price which is so noticeable point. It may be pump harder after accumulation by whale at this level and i personally expected that ETH price can be reached at least $7000 to $10,000 to June 2025 to December 2025.

Ethereum is the only sole of all Alts, Once the Ethereum reached $3000 the alts coin will explode to the moon.

I would look more toward BTC, then - toward ETH, and then - to the rest.

Because some alts pump sooner, some - later, SOL, for example had its ride as well, and it will have its moments through 2025, I think.

As per History we can say that ETH is the king of All alts, Alts moving when ETH starting moving to ATH, We can see in past as well, After BTC dominance drop the fund are moving to Larg cap and medium cap and follow by small cap.

For Alts season we need ETH rally so Alts can pump harder. It's my personal view.

Unfortunately, after a month, there is still no movement whatsoever on Ethereum. And so your conclusion that investors are moving out of Bitcoin is wrong. Bitcoin just have as short kind of rally reaching as high as $89,000.

people might be asking when is the altcoin season be happening and this may be the answer it seems like the momentum is with ethereum and possibly other altcoins as well right now

No, the momentum is not on Ethereum sad to say, still goes down on how investors are going to react as it seems that most of them might be out and not willing to pour their money on Ethereum or any other solid altcoins.

On the contrary, it's the opposite of what you assumed, money is flowing on Bitcoin only.

Actually, i think that you could express your valuable information in your comment. Because we know that bitcoin is one of the best profitable crypto in cryptocurrency world. So i am also believe that moving out from bitcoin will be very wrong decision for all crypto users. We also saw that ethereum price is remain under $1881 in this time. So i believe that it will be very prefer time for invest, because we know that down market is also very prefer for any crypto users. So i believe that in this time if we invest in ethereum, i think that it also be best profitable source for us.

The risk is indeed higher if we move our crypto assets from bitcoin to altcoins like ethereum which seems to be struggling and has not experienced good movement. Bitcoin has always been the main choice for investors who have long invested in crypto

Yes, I am also agree with your comment. Because we know that bitcoin is one of the best profitable crypto in cryptocurrency world. I am also believe that bitcoin is the main choice crypto for any crypto currency investors. Because if we follow in cryptocurrency market in few month ago, we can see that bitcoin price reach $106k. I think that it is the best level in this year. But gradually bitcoin price is down and remain $83k now. I think that gradually bitcoin price will reach best position, so i think that if we want to invest in bitcoin it will be very profitable for us.

Investing in bitcoin is indeed profitable as long as we can buy at a low price, as bitcoin is currently experiencing a correction and it is likely that this month we will see the price of bitcoin above $ 100K again, although it seems that bitcoin is still having difficulty reaching that level. However, as investors who have long invested in bitcoin, we understand that the crypto market is difficult to predict and bitcoin still has the potential to rise again, if we are willing to be patient to hold.

Sometimes, the appearance of the assets that we possess does not appear to change in the way that it should. However, there is value in itself when one stays with the decisions which has been made in the beginning. Therefore, the aspect of patience could also refer to an area which may not able to be measured in directions. That markets would move from here to there is not the issue; it is not something that we can claim makes us doubt the work which we have put into creation. The stability that we have in responding to such events actually provides us with the force to forge ahead. Slowness of confidence is steady, if one proceeds through it with clean thinking.

Many investors were also hoping that the ETH price would skyrocket thanks to the spot ETF, but things aren't always that easy peasy! The ETH price has taken a dip and hasn't exactly been getting a piggyback ride from the spot ETF. Not many folks are buzzing about the ETH ETF anymore, in fact, some are even pointing their fingers at it as the reason the ETH price has taken a tumble.

Now, ETH's fate is hanging in the balance, all depending on the main trend and the BTC price. If things start looking sunnier, ETH might just have a shot at bouncing back up. But if the market has already sung its swan song for this season, well, we might just have to call ETH the grand flop of the year.

I also observed this, ETF does not have much effect on ETH. and I think ethereum is still waiting for better bitcoin movement and maybe when altcoin season comes ethereum price will jump.
I don't have much ethereum in my wallet, because I prefer BNB, XRP, SOL and bitcoin as my priority.

If it is related to alternative coins for Bitcoin, Ethereum is indeed the best trip, both from the sharp side and often in the area that is almost the same. The possibility of ETH price to go up again is still wide open, but unfortunately, for some reason I can't help but think that Ethereum coin might be an unused by several person person

Actually, there is no amount of Etheruem ETF inflow that can hinder Bitcoin demands, it is very clear that Bitcoin control all altcoins market and a Bitcoin dump will generally affect the entire altcoins price, it is on records that with Bitcoin uptrends movements, most altcoins will definitely experience some momentum.
I think the etheruem ETF inflow could be investor's trying diversify their investments, and probably some whales may be up again to pump Ether token.
Nevertheless, Etheruem has not created any new records since the bull run started late last year, this could be another turning point to break previous record in my opinion.

In summary, while Ethereum ETFs have experienced periods of massive inflows, particularly in late 2024 and early 2025, recent months show increased volatility with significant outflows, suggesting investor sentiment is mixed. I got the latest trends from platforms like SoSoValue and CoinGlass offer real-time ETF flow trackers. That's why the price of ethereum is still not going up and it is really hard for the ethereum price to going up but it is just my personal oppinion about ethereum.😊

These days, most especially for both Bitcoin and Ethereum, ETF inflows and outflows have become the barometers of the market confidence on both assets and will be telling us the direction of the price of the assets, Unfortunately, this is not good for Ethereum though I have seen some uptick in the past many days due to the influence of Bitcoin. For now, maybe the market is not so good for Ethereum though there is still a big possibility of a rebound most especially if Bitcoin can maintain its bullishness and can show up in the $100K vicinity. Once can only wonder: what is happening with Ethereum and where is the much-needed excitement that it exhibited in the past? Are we already in the threshold of it losing the grip of the market or should we wait for its saving grace?

ERF ethereum is not as successful as ETF bitcoin, because investor enthusiasm for bitcoin is high. Especially when trump won the presidential election, making the price of bitcoin soar.
in this cycle ethereum did not show good progress as the second rank coin on CMC and its competitors solana and XRP were better than ethereum in their movements in the market.

It’s too early to say ethereum is losing its market grip. Its fundamentals remain unmatched: it powers DeFi, NFTs, and Web3, with black rock  build fund underscoring institutional belief in its role for tokenized assets. The upcoming Pectra upgrade could also reignite developer and investor interest by boosting scalability.

The saving grace may well be bitcoin bullish. If BTC hits $100k, as some predict, it could lift ethereum, historically a beneficiary of bitcoin led rallies. macro tailwinds, like easing trade tensions or looser monetary policies, could further help. For now, Ethereum’s quieter phase feels like a lull, not a collapse. Patience is warranted its ecosystem is too vital to count out, but it needs a spark, whether from bitcoin tide or its own innovations, to recapture that past glory.
