With the current circulating supply, the market feels tight but then I remember that many miners have already locked up their tokens, some even until 2027 before unlocking. The project team clearly knew what they were doing.
Despite this, PI has been seeing a lot of inflows, and last I checked, it was trading at #1 on Bitget, OKX Gate.io and event other CEX. Now, the big question is what's next for PI after this successful listing

Many people have been mining that Pi coin and they were waiting eagerly to see their Pi coins on exchanges and many of them were expecting Pi's initial value to be over $40 and now it's below $1 and that thing has dishearten many of such believers.
I personally try to stay away from such projects but a cousin of mine was interested in Pi and he has been mining it from 2019, and also when he saw it listed on exchanges he bought some coins when its value was $1.5 and now he's holding those coins with some loss.

It is hard to believe that the price of Pi Coin will be $40. However, it is natural that the price of the coin will increase slightly in the beginning as the miners of the coin have their coins locked. As far as I know, the price of each Pi Coin is currently trading at around $1.42. However, when the tokens are unlocked, its price will start to drop drastically. If the price of the coin is high in the short term, it will not be able to move much in the long term. It is better not to invest in such coins with risk. I have seen a lot of miners in my local area who have been mining the coins on a large scale. If everyone gets their mining reward back, I also have doubts about how much the number of buyers of this coin will increase.

For someone to have been mining it for years and gotten at least 10K of PI, I think its already a good price to sell at $1.40 than wait for it to go down already. There have been so many users have not sold yet.
I never thought this PI coin will go live actually, there have been so many people saying it a scam. Anyway, their journey hasn't ended yet maybe they will still be scam or they will become more valuable.

Yes, many people anticipated the listing price very high which was quite unreality I have friends that where comparing PI to BTC
I bet your cousin, who was at a loss, is now seeing some gains since Pi is currently trading at $2.2. It even reached as high as $2.8 at one point yesterday. The community seems to be holding strong overall

Well, so far, the project is holding strong. Last I checked, it was trading at $2.6+. I also saw some news about the token being used as a payment method in certain regions.
