Tokens like BNB and BGB have been particularly successful, offering not only a store of value but also opportunities to earn more on their respective platforms.
Through events, staking, and higher APYs, these tokens provide incentives for users to engage with the platforms. As the exchanges grow, so do the potential benefits. For example as a BGB holder this is some of the perks I get here (https://x.com/bitgetglobal/status/1893243083212415148), for BNB too they're other benefits..
Also in terms of volatility, exchange tokens aren't that volatile offering assets security amongst other things..what do you think?

I don't like exchange tokens, they are heavily dependent on exchange itself. Despite BNB performing well throughout all these years, never for once felt to add it to my portfolio.

Exchange tokens gives alot of perks to holders, imagine getting bnb below $20 and having over 500 of it. You'd have earned way more by participating in launchpools, pre launches over the years, same thing with BGB, The rewarding experience even surpsceeeds BNB imo and the giveaway op shared is an example. In terms of performed BGB is the top performing exchange token in the last one year..

Could it be because you missed an entry point. Exchange tokens are better than many of these shitcoins in the market. Exchange tokens have great utility and will continue to enlarge as long as the exchange is successful. Buying at low price will not be a mistake, especially that of a reputable exchange. Someone recommended me one, I'll look towards it

I think it is true that we shouldn't neglect the exchangers token's until if we haven't watch the incident like the FTX, hotbit, Cryptopia, Mt. Gox and many more.
Things like that we don't know about the right time when they will collapse or vanished from market and that is also one reason not only the exchangers token I think all of the altcoins shouldn't be belive for long-run how we can believe on bitcoin. But if it was something like small fund I think we can spread in to the altcoins for diversity of investment.
