I invested some money on this platform and now they are asking me to pay 4% taxes over profits, I am looking for somebody experience before sending more money to then. Is it a scam?
-
Never heard of it.
But from my experience, it sounds like a scam, 4% taxes over profit? It's very unusual for a exchange to ask you that.
Unfortunately, it looks like you have been scam already and you can't get your money back from them. Sorry to burst the bubble for you. I do hope that this will be a lesson for you.
Just used reputable and trusted exchange.

I just checked the exchange, it looks like its created unprofessionally. The images on their website are stretched like the developer isn't well verse to his craft. Its surprising they deploy this exchange live because it looks unfinished.
I think its a scam. This szios will not last to compete among any other exchanges in crypto. The people online are wise already to check which are trusted exchanges and if they see szios is not among them then they will not use this exchange. In due course it will scam its users. Maybe its just waiting for its domain to expire.

@Fernandotf I just visited that exchange and at first glance I could see that it is a disaster from start to finish. Oversized images, slow loading of the main page when almost everything is text... And the most curious thing of all, I don't know if it is due to IP blocks in my country, but I have not been able to access it from clearnet, I have had to use Tor to be able to see the exchange, which makes no sense.
As for the 4% that they demand from you on profits, it seems absurd to me, but that is something that you should have found in the ToS of the exchange before starting to use it, if that condition does not appear they do not have the right to ask you for that percentage.
The domain is registered since:
Registered On: 2012-05-18
In 2012 in that domain they talked about iPhone, in a language (I don't know if it's Japanese or Chinese) that I don't know. On this website you have more information: http://web.archive.org/web/20130407100643/http://www.szios.com.
The best thing you can do is try to withdraw your funds from that exchange, never use it again and start using another one, preferably decentralized, where you will not have these problems.

There are way too many exchanges out there than you can probably think of. And one of the biggest problems today is the fact that a great deal of them are scam. Sometimes spotting them via their landing pages being responsive or properly developed or not isn't actually an accurate way.
To be on a safer side it's best to make use of exchanges that have a good reputation beats decentralized or centralized most of these fake centralized exchanges actually sell the KYC data of their customers.

The problem is that the only way for me to withdraw would be me paying this 4% tax. I am afraid to pay it and lose more money for a scam... But in the other hand if it was a scam I would have found some complaint about it on the internet. I am still in doubt about what to do

how about you pay that 4% and see for yourself if you could withdraw the funds. that's the only way to find out then. i would assume you only sent a few coins there?
based on the wayback machine, its a Japanese site. it makes sense then why its name is szios. unusual name for an exchange. i tried looking it up if its a popular term in Japanese but no result. its not even a Japanese term. ;D

Never heard of such exchange. Searching the web and seeing the site, though it's not an English kind of website, but with the view, I'm not quite sure if the site is legit. Having oversized image, a non-professional exchange view, design for an exchange. Giving a 4% tax over profit is another red flag. I guess you didn't make personal findings before joining this exchange.
-
I have not heard of it but at first glance this exchange seems to be a scam, there is no known exchange that takes 4% on profits, this is nonsense!! It is better to withdraw your money and not deposit more.
Even if it is not a scam you do not have to pay 4% commission on your profits in this unknown exchange with many reliable and strong exchanges with high daily trading volume and great features without any tax on profits.
-
i have never heard of any exchange that would ask 4% for tax. exchange has nothing do with your crypto tax. it looks like scam.

This is my first time hearing of the exchange and with what you’re asking in your post, they’re already showings signs of being a scam exchange. Sorry to have lost some money to them. But what made you went for them when there are many reputable exchanges you can keep money with without having all this troubles on your withdrawals? When an exchange portray itself, you just don’t jump into them even if they’re given you juicy offers to come trade with them or use their services. Let them get that credibility before you decide to use their services.
