Title: Athene was below expectations
Post by: Daisycrypt202 on February 25, 2025, 03:43:48 PM
I’m not even gonna lie, there was a point when I was farming this thing where I genuinely thought it was never going to list. One of the first projects I ever farmed when I got into this space, and after months of waiting, it started feeling like one of those “maybe one day” situations.

Then out of nowhere, boom ATN is live (yeah, not ATH anymore, they switched the name last minute). And just like that, $0.06 to $0.20 instantly a 200% move straight out the gate. But let’s be real, after waiting this long, I was expecting something way crazier. I had my eyes on at least $2+ for the listing, but here we are.

For anyone still confused about withdrawals, Athene P2P is the only way for now. But damn… after all that time farming, watching it actually hit the market still feels surreal.

Most of the token being mentioned over here sounds to strange to me because I don't focus on hunting these airdrops token maybe who knows and I can say I am really slacking back became I tends not to know much about these tokens anymore because I wasn't active on Twitter to be seeing these tokens being advertised on media, I only get to know about them whenever they post them over here. Then back to the price speculation, though I don't know much about the token and what they are into. Most times we tend to high our hope so much about tokens that we farm but without knowing the real intentions of the project owners if they could list as we may have planned it.

Well, we are in the middle of a down market so it is going to be lucky for a newly listed project to get some good price even though it might be not doing as expected. I am also doing this Athene project and as of now I am not sure if I will get something after I did the KYC and get the free $20 but failed to buy ATH because the minimum is more than $20 (something of a crazy gift they distributed) meaning I must add some money into the mix for me to use the fee money. Anyway, I am already used to have my effort get wasted and get nothing in the end...which resulted me into further disillusionment with this industry.

I have heard about this airdrop this airdrop was farmed on an application, right? I did not join many airdrops especially the ones where we have to download applications on our smart phones because it becomes very risky. I usually did not joined much airdrops except the potential ones.

The listed price of such airdrops are always lower than the expected price therefore we should not raise our hopes much instead we should farm the airdrops with multiple accounts if that's fair for the project.

I have lost confidence on air drops, it is no longer business as may be compared to the last six years air drops campaigns. Despite the high rewards promised to participate, i think that most airdrop campaigns this days,  end up worthless tokens, and even wasted efforts after they are listed.
However, i am not trying to be discouraging but many hunters may remember that air drops campaigns between 2016 to 2019 are incomparable to what we are seeing now.
