bitcoin, ethereum, xrp, solana, and cardano
these are the ones trump chose to be added to the us strategic reserve some people may wonder why he chose these ones but i think the simple answer is that these are top crypocurrencies by marketcap right now bnb and usdt are among the top ones but of course they wouldn't choose bnb since it is from an exchange and it would be pointless to add usdt to their national reserve since it is just usd issued by another company
with this said, do you think trump could add more cryptocurrencies in the reserve in the future? and if yes, which ones do you think have the possibility?
-
I hope not ;D
Although it benefits me directly, because I have ETH and SOL for example, at least in my opinion, the reserve should only be BTC
Because of the fundamentals of being decentralized, without a CEO, free and secure
What looks like it could happen is that more “made in USA” coins are added, but I doubt that they will add any more coins for the time being, there are already too many

I also agree that what is used as a backup is bitcoin, that's enough.
Because bitcoin is the king of cryptocurrency and is safe for long -term hold.
For other coins, I think I have doubt.
But never mind, all policies support Crypto are good and we hope about it.
-
It is possible because he surely have crypto investment teams that is dictating him what's next though this is just my opinion but things could happen like that in the future or maybe it's already is. What we should do right now is to crack the coins they will possibly select next because that might give us better profits.

It doesn't really make sense if Bitcoin is only shortlisted as the only planned for the strategic reserve in the US, at least, it has to benefit some altcoins too.
I think the entire crypto ecosystem is decentralized despite the Bitcoin market controls, and I think that most altcoins can stands the text of time.
It is obvious that we need to encourage other projects besides Bitcoin, it may boost the chances of other altcoins to be added to the strategic reserve proposals. I person feel that other crypto assets should be part of the plans.

Once again, Trump is a clown. He plays with the crypto community and manipulates it solely for reasons of personal profit (and possibly for someone close to him).
The sooner this is accepted, the fewer consequences and less damage there will be. Of course, people should stop worshipping Trump and wait for him to say something positive about crypto.

There hav been speculations that Hedera could be added on Trumps list so watch out for it's pump. If you wanted to gain before that day come, you might wanna buy them now but this is if you also believe on its possibility and then accepts the loss if Trump don't add Hedera.
This is a risky bet also. If I were to invest, I go for those 3 thats named by Trump.

I was scrolling X were I came across a post saying that "these coins mentioned by Trump to be added to US National Reserve are been founded by a US citizen and I became curious to know if it is necessary for the statement by that account holder. Well, it does not matter what he added to the long list of coins to be added to the reserve, what matters is implementation for the community to see how serious he is with his promises and the policies he has been able to come up with for crypto in the US. I am beginning to get sick of this whole drama playing every day with Trump this Trump that.

I think Trump is just focusing on "made in US" tokens instead of focusing on their market capitalization. Coinmarketcap also has a list of "Made in America Tokens" and we can think of other tokens like DOGE, HBAR or LINK.
Unfortunately, the FOMO caused by Trump's announcement could not last long enough. BTC price has dropped to the 80K USD area and many altcoins have dropped sharply. Many investors are still thinking that Trump is trying to manipulate the crypto market to trade & make profit :)

With the way this reserve thing is turning into, all I can say at this point is they should wrapped it up. It's going out of plan because this wasn't the plan initially. Inclusion of other altcoins has ruin the trust of this reserve because tell me, what is Solana going to do in Bitcoin reserve, what is Ada doing in the suppose Bitcoin reserve when that was the plan initially.
I think we are now in this phase of denial where this reserve thing will become a thing of past. They want to make reserve but you haven't done the first one but you are adding new promise, this is not happening soon even if there is a plan.
-
Too many shitcoins is not good to be used as cypto reserve because nobody knows their future. I am not expecting anymore shitcoin to be added because it's not economical wise. Only bitcoin should be best used for cryptocurrency reserve.

Giving high hopes for shitcoins, as you said, is clearly not going to be beneficial, and you are right, because there is no point in continuing to try it because it does not give anything in the end.
For now, it is indeed the best and very worthwhile to be made. Of course, the choice will fall on bitcoin. It is very important to be able to contribute in the end.

There is no possibility that anything will happen but those who blindly believe and buy such short term hype token and plan to hold them for a long time will lose a lot of money. You can clear the matter from trump meme coin because no one could buy this token at a low price because it was a very short term FOMO. However, who purchased these tokens at higher prices have lost a lot of money. So, there will be many projects in the future that will follow the names of various rich people in the world to keep up the hype, but in reality you will not find anyone because rich people do not want to think about this crypto.

It's just my opinion, but I believe that no other altcoin can offer what BTC has to offer, with more security
The highs almost always are and will be driven by BTC, and BTC's decentralized characteristics are something different from all the rest od coins
But that's okay, my alts will probably appreciate with the reserve too ;D ;D ;D

with this said, do you think trump could add more cryptocurrencies in the reserve in the future? and if yes, which ones do you think have the possibility?
Yes, I do think that Trump could and he will add more cryptocurrencies in the reserve in the future. I won't say the name of any coin but I'm pretty sure that he'll add some coins from top 100 coins, and there's chance that the number may grow to 10 in future.
-
Trump is being pictured as a villain by the world but here in cryptocurrency, he is doing good by announcing this good news.
All the coins mentioned are worth adding, and yes, he will likely add more to the reserve. Kind of risky because of the market's high volatility, but this is Trump, who is used to being risky and brazen in his decision. I expect the market to be better in the coming weeks.

with this said, do you think trump could add more cryptocurrencies in the reserve in the future? and if yes, which ones do you think have the possibility?
Trump can add more crypto coins and he also can remove one or some of the current target. It depends on the development on crypto investment and the progress of the coins itself. For the funding reserve, I'm very sure Trump won't take a too high risk, he must be quite selective. There must be a team or several people who will keep analyzing the coins. So, there must be a change in the future although Trump said he wants those coins.
-
Wouldn't that also potentially be reduced or eliminated? I don't think it would be easy to agree, this is common in the cryptocurrency industry that is combined with governments, there must be some parties making other considerations so that one or the assets mentioned may not be compatible with the system implemented, so it needs to be removed... and yes, another market dump..
This sounds easy, regarding Trump's tweet, but trust me the cooking will not be as easy as typing it on a phone and posting it on X.

right, why should it be other than btc, btc is the right coin if used as a reserve in my opinion, the capacity is limited, there is no addition, as we know ETH and SOL have a larger market capacity than bitcoin, hopefully there will be no more additions, there are already too many coins to collect now

I'm thinking about HBAR and LTC.
Seriously, these altcoins isn't suitable to be a strategic reserve of a country.
Tyler Winklevoss already said that the only suitable candidate for a strategic reserve is only Bitcoin. More of his comments here: https://www.Bitget ( Bitget warning (https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?topic=329791.0) )/news/detail/12560604616425. Basically, I think that Bitcoin is the only suitable one because it's decentralized? I mean at the end of the day, they can just add any altcoin they want. They can also put TRUMP coin as their strategic reserve if they want to. I mean it's Donald "FCKING" Trump. :D

Your observations are right as I also noticed that concerning the "made-in US tokens" and if you noticed as well, he mentioned those names before he mentioned BTC and ETH on separate pages added to the list which made it obviously clear his intentions on the list of the US national reserve.
So far, he has always said this of "putting America first" and so he has been doing so I am not surprised by the list of the coins he mentioned, and maybe more to come in the future.
Lastly, it has always been a market manipulation strategy they have been using to control the market and price of tokens to their own benefit and to the detriment of the masses. They don't care whatever happens to the market as long as it is in their own benefit, they do whatever pleases them to do and they get away with it.

He's slogan always goes "Make America Great Again"..
His focus on "made in US token" is all based on his own thoughts on these assets... Besides I don't think these assets ain't promising and also I notice they all have a valuable market capitalization.
The mindset of some crypto enthusiasts wouldn't be the same as that of the President Donald Trump. He has his reasons for chosing XRP, SOL and ADA as the Altcoins in his strategic Reserve.
The thought of him adding other Altcoins to his nation's strategic Reserve is limited to him and his cabinets. From my point of view, I feel DOGE may stand a chance of being added...

I was honestly looking for Doge on the list because..... Elon ;D I guess it's the right choice not to include to avoid the next level surge of new meme coins. It would just open up more discussions/debates like opening a can of worms. I already seen some tweets from meme projects trolling the planned reserve.
Doge should have been mentioned by Trump but it would be very obvious that Elon is influencing him so Trump just add exclude Doge.
It would be nice to see Doge go up again due to the influence of Trump. Its not a secret anyway that Elon is behind on the things Trump is doing. The more I see him getting involve in crypto the more I can think DOGE (Department of Government Efficiency) is meant to advertise Dogecoin. ;D

I don't expect Trump to support DOGE because we know DOGE is a meme coin even though it is the most famous, but there are still many coins that have good projects as networks such as ethereum, BNB, Solana, TRX,.
I think Trump has considerations for that.
-
...do you think trump could add more cryptocurrencies in the reserve in the future? and if yes, which ones do you think have the possibility?
No, I don't think that there will be more additions aside from the announced LUCKY FIVE and there can even be chance that the list can be trimmed as this is not yet final...they would be subject to a scrutiny by the working group established by POTUS and then maybe we don't know what will come out once the Congress will get involved. And in my view, this BIG FIVE is more than enough for anyone's appetite to digest and some are even questioning why it is not ONLY Bitcoin that is considered. As to Dogecoin I don't see a reason for it to be added and I am sure that Elon Musk will not be recommending it as he has already learned his lesson not to anymore get involved with any coin except maybe if he would decide what to integrate to X.

same here there could be potentially bad things to come as a result if the government become too lax or welcoming of any coin since it might reflect badly to the community if the coin is not reliable and does not perform well
What looks like it could happen is that more “made in USA” coins are added, but I doubt that they will add any more coins for the time being, there are already too many
you are right maybe over the next course of months we will see usa propping more and more coins made my them as trump was clear about making usa the crypto capital of the world

But wouldn't it be a big success to Trump if he includes his own Trumpcoin in part of this strategic reserves? Doge is a memecoin and so is the Trumpcoin but what is the difference if the price goes up high and people think there is a use case of this Trumpcoin, I think it will still be acceptable to the people.
I read someone that Trumpcoin will have its use case on the Truth Social Media platform. Its his platform he can decide what to do with it.

It would be a big mistake to add the memecoin $TRUMP
I don't think even Trump's biggest crypto supporters and advisors would support that idea
I don't know about the legal part of this idea

What a way of him forgetting BTC and ETH just like that haha, I mean he have to repost his last post with saying obviously we will add BTC and ETH and some other cryptocurrencies too, so the answer to your main question if he will add more is already given by him and to the second of which one he will add to the reserve, I will say let's just not get too excited now because he has not added even a single one yet.
I saw XRP and ADA coming on the list, because the way all those whales were accumulating it regardless of the nature of the market and some even bought it high, I had my eyes on Pepe, Doge, Link, ARB etc too because these coins were also being accumulated by whales in big quantity.
-
this will just keep us guessing which coins they are going to pump. if he is going to add more of his reserves, its going to be another token made in US. they said he chooses those 3 because they are US made tokens but they are also popular. BNB is also popular but its created by Chinese developers.
does it means Bitcoin is US made? they know. if its base on popularity, TRON should be one.
-
Fully of drama of US president Donald Trump, after announcing about cryptocurrency coins from BTC, ETH, XRP, SOL and ADA just one day later announcing taxes transaction raised for import product. Talking for possibility in the future will Donald Trump add more coins actually have possibility depend on which one coins make linked with him and announced at conference pers such as with latest coins have released.
Hope any my altcoin holding like POL will announce or tag by Donald Trump later exactly one day later with white house conference about cryptocurrency.
-
Yeah, talking about the crypto assets addition to the planned strategic reserve, actually some altcoins deserves some considerations besides Bitcoin, token like BNB, LTC are good projects. BNB is a strong blockchain network that should be included on the list in my opinion.
However, i think that towards the implementation of the planned strategic reserve, we may see some additions, especially few strong altcoins tokens on the list. I am hoping the Bitcoin will creat more records All time High in 2025 when it is implemented.

Trump and melania are meme coins so cryptocurrency that are essentially created by entrepreneurs writing code on the blockchain. Their value depends on how much people believe in them and buy them.
Moreover, to create excitement the teams behind such coins often market them using popular memes that can be shared and repeated on social media.
If investors buy at the right time they can make a lot of money. Conversely, if they buy at the top of the market they can lose everything very quickly.

Yes, what can we do, we can only see how the country with the greatest power controls crypto, they can do anything for power, and we are just a fragment of their assets.

If Trump wants to support a meme coin, he has TRUMP coin. Why he should choose Doge? Trump also knows that meme coins aren't the right choice for crypto reserves, they have no fundamentals. Trump only choose the coins with clear fundamentals, that's why he choose Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Ripple, and Cardano.

Trump has a crypto team and Elon Musk isn't even one of them and if such suggestions are brought up, the team will reject it and add prefer Trump because it is what they control, they have about 80% of the supply with them, that way they can manipulate the price the way they want but they can't do such with Doge because they don't have much of it.
Let's hope that more transparency will come about this reserve because truly, this is not how we expected him to do the reserve, many thought it will be manage by central bank bank but it turn out reserve is just a reserve, nothing more.

Considering the latest choose coins by Donald Trump, surely he choose for coins with clearly have good fundamental from BTC, ETH, XRP and SOL. I don't think Trump will make shit or meme coin in his list choose for US reserves. I don't think have any coins will add by Donald Trump in the future because only looking for altcoin have clearly good fundamental for the future and Bitcoin become most top crypto.
But next tomorrow day, Donald Trump have bigger agenda in White House and discussing about cryptocurrency, have many audience will be there exactly from cryptocurrency advice then waiting the result only have good or not for crypto impact in the future.
-
I don't think trump will add more coin on his portfolio. trump is not crazy like Elon Musk. Elon and Trump both are businessman so they not think about others. check trump coin price , ATH is more then $75 but now price is $13.
Many users invested on this meme coin with the intention of reach $100 but after hit ath of $77 price start drop. so not matter who launch meme coin, every meme coins including altcoins are high risky , to don't excited for any new coin

That's true, if he wanted to choose a meme coin he would have opted for his coin as the President and nobody would have done anything about it but he knows that meme coin has no utility value, and if he does that it would only end up being hyped which would not go well, so he avoided it entirely but to mention few coins with the good use case and strong utility value for a better national reserve which would appreciate in the long run and adding more value to the economy of the nation in time to come.

Well, i dont really care on how many coins that he would be buying up into his reserve or whatever purpose that he would be having then one things for sure that the main purpose on why is to make profits in the first place. It is really just that being add up on some hype just because of the position he's in, but actually it is really just that some big purchases but its obvious on whats the real intent. I dont realyl believe on whatever the words in regarding about other aspect on which its pretty obvious that on what he's really that up to. This is why its not really that recommended that you should be investing in accordance to hype and fomo. Although the list of coins being bought are those which are on the top ranks on which it isnt really that a bad choice either.

Trump must have considered not choosing meme coins, because meme coins only need hype. Bitcoin, ethereum and other bag coins can be options.
but if forced to use meme coins, it probably won't last long. although DOGE still survives until now, its usefulness seems lacking.

Dogecoin could survive because it obviously was the first meme coin so far to have existed and it has been making waves in the crypto industry no doubt about that. The categories of meme coins these days have no value so no need to talk about them because they only thrive on hype and social media fud.

I am really surprised to see no DOGECOIN on the list ;D. Especially when so much importance is being given to Elon Musk by Trump.

Isn't it weird that DOGE is on the list? It's like forcing a coin with a funny use case on a serious government... the memecoin character is like a joke from the community, and it doesn't fit for government adoption like the US, especially for the strategic reserve planned by Trump...
Nepotism will be obvious, considering that only Elon Musk is a big figure who tweeted DOGE coin in the list of rich people in the world....

bitcoin, ethereum, xrp, solana, and cardano
these are the ones trump chose to be added to the us strategic reserve some people may wonder why he chose these ones but i think the simple answer is that these are top crypocurrencies by marketcap right now bnb and usdt are among the top ones but of course they wouldn't choose bnb since it is from an exchange and it would be pointless to add usdt to their national reserve since it is just usd issued by another company
with this said, do you think trump could add more cryptocurrencies in the reserve in the future? and if yes, which ones do you think have the possibility?
I get why Trump picked those coins for the US reserve, they are some of the biggest players out there. BNB and USDT probably got skipped because one's tied to an exchange and the other's a stablecoin, you know? I'd bet more coins could join the list later but it'd depend on how big they are, how safe they feel and what are the rules say.

Yes, it would be obvious if the DOGE coin was added to the list, having its major figure, Elon Musk, in the same government. That would be all hell loose on the Trump government for putting such on the list and, at the same time, having Elon as the head of the Department of Government Efficiency, making it clear their intentions of manipulating the crypto market to their own benefit and to the detriment of the masses. I think it would not work that way so possibly amongst the reason why it was not included on the list.

Yes, I do think that Trump could and he will add more cryptocurrencies in the reserve in the future. I won't say the name of any coin but I'm pretty sure that he'll add some coins from top 100 coins, and there's chance that the number may grow to 10 in future.
We still have some potential token out their that can be added, stable token
Will trump consider PI network?

Meme is a meme, and at least we won't be having those on the reserve list..

I think these once that has been added to the strategic reserves is okay because what crypto currency needs now is the right policy and environment that will lead to the adoption of crypto currency by more people around the world and I think that trump has already done enough for the crypto community even though that other crypto currencies where not added for the main time, I believe in the future more crypto currencies will be added if the crypto currency perform well

If Trump is going to add more coins to the reserve it has to be a token that they’ll definitely have a good use case in the future and not anyhow coin. The reason for BNB and USDT not added to the reserve is very clear and I think he can go for other options but for it to happen, I think the reserve for this needs to have been effected and already invested heavily in this coins in the reserve. Actually, I am not thinking of any more coins that would be added, but in the future we will get to know Trump stance on other coins he will like to add to the reserve.

It is true that the US reserve has been chosen as the best right now because it is very advantageous for future developments, which will provide good changes for developments that will occur in the future.
For those that were not chosen, maybe because there is something that cannot be expressed openly, but it is not impossible that there will always be additions that will be made and everyone will always be waiting for that.
