After years of holding BTC, ETH, BNB, BGB, and other altcoins, I've thought of ways of getting profits even in a bear market instead of watching my investment depreciate.
A project that has been around since 2018, $AB is currently rebranding this year which signifies a strategic shift towards full decentralization and enhanced interoperability. The token is live on various exchanges, and it would be best to capitalize on my holdings and partake in their events, so I'll be able to get a share of the token. is not long-term, that's a good thing.
What events do you participate in during this period of uncertainty in the market, and in what ways do you get newly listed tokens aside from airdrop?

OP there are many ways one can get tokens or coins if they are ready to do that, aside from airdrops, finance, and some notable exchanges does Launchpad where one can farm for the token or coin to be listed or one can take part in the premarket launch on exchanges, it is there for all to see, it is not hidden.

That’s a good point you made there regarding participating in premarket launch on exchanges, i took part in quite a few in the past and it was worth it. It seems the OP is referring to PoolX on Bitget, i saw it earlier and it might be worth trying out considering one can get airdrop tokens by simply locking up ETH for a few days especially now when the market is unstable and i’ve put trading on hold.

Most exchanges now do premarket trading but I mostly prefer Binance because of its reputation and I can trust them to be fair in the process and have done the proper verification before they list any token or coin on their exchange for premarket. As for Launchpad, it requires you to stake a certain percentage of the required token by the exchange to farm the airdrop on their platform. I mostly participate in Binance Launchpad but the outcome sometimes isn't worth it as the turn-up is so high that sometimes it is better to do premarket than participate in the Launchpad.

Not that much but I think I'll look into pools as earliest as I can. Those young pools that are going to be launched at that time and being at an early time gives the advantage. Although nothing is guaranteed, I'd just focus on eligibility so that if there are some rewards and airdrops that will be released on that time, then I'd be happy to take on that money while doing less and minimal effort but it comes with some money as an investment.

This is probably the third time I have seen this project being promoted in this forum. Looks like these new projects do more or less the same marketing tactics by creating or bumping some topics with newbie accounts. I guess if it's not spammy it doesn't look that bad, but why not try to bid the ad slot or just run a signature campaign if marketing is their goal? Surely they have some budget to spare instead of flooding the forum with spam-like comments.

Why does this smell like shilling, op were you paid to shill this service? Though i know even if you were, you would not say. However, i don't know this AB project and i don't have any intention of finding out anything about it. I try to avoid new coins and tokens and the reasons are very obvious.

Well, I don't bother again to receive extra coins to my holding, unless if the platform am to use is already proven to have just a very low risk. My involved in those events or airdrops were in the past when I was still trying to fit in on the crypto space. For now, I prefer to let my coins remain in my wallet until the value has surged to a certain level where I can sell and take a significant profit.
There's no need to be scared if the value of your coins reduce because during bull season, it will still pump and you can make profit. It's better to hold than risk your coins on any centralized platform that could could cease your coins.
