With good list of big and influential names working directly in different capacities in the expanding cryptocurrency industry primarily in USA, I am sure that something good can be coming out of this summit. And when biggest players are invited to an open discussion, am sure that the market will also be reacting positively...otherwise I would be dismayed to say the least. How I wish that Satoshi Nakamoto can also be invited, had he not gone underground or maybe below the ground. Anyway, this summit is really worth watching and let's cross our fingers that the future of cryptocurrency industry in USA will be more attractive out of this event as sponsored by no less than the White House under Trump.

However this meeting was truly a disappointment
- They didn't talk about anything
- They have not decided anything
- They did not create actions to do something later

an absolutely useless meeting just to count or to take advantage of making a party all together
I don't understand the utility it had, for me nothing or equal to zero

Haha, you had me laughing pretty badly. What else would you have expected from it? It is the government, after all ;D.

If he had been my president i would have expected more seriousness regarding the strategic reserve of bitcoin
but i understand that they don't care about the collective good

stupid me who thought they could really bring the world a fantastic and better technology like bitcoin and cryptocurrencies

Give him some time. I mean, come on, it is not good to blame him for not doing something so early. He has more pressing issues at hand. He has already taken a big step by announcing his pro-BTC position and recent BTC growth  has influenced by that. If you blaming him for corrections in the market you should also give him due credit.

Some people here in the cryptocurrency industry are starting to get so funny. When Trump is making an action or a decision and the crypto market is not responding positively, they tend to blame Trump. Yes, Trump won the White House partly because of the support of the people in this industry but he does not have any obligation to cater to all our demands as he is the president of the country and not of the cryptocurrency industry. I could not imagine if Biden or Harris is in the White House right now as I don't think Democrats really care about this industry in fact they wanted to stifle its growth and stop it in many ways they can. Some people just lack the kind of perspective that is for the long term.

So a decentralized economy now has a headquarters in the form of the USA(White house)

How did we get here, aren't cryptocurrencies suppose to be independent from all this??

Why is the US so much interested in crypto regulation now??

If we're going to be honest, most of these meetings are for people to socialize, make contacts, and of course have a nice drink and meal. I almost never expect that the people who come to such gatherings can actually change something, because they are not actually the ones who make decisions.

A real paradox, isn't it? However, maybe only if we take BTC as an example, because it is actually the only decentralized cryptocurrency - everything else is more or less created for profit, so the altcoins industry is completely centralized and can have its headquarters anywhere.

I would like to correct you on something, the US is not interested in cryptocurrencies in the way that many people think, but it is about the business interests of one man and people close to him who see cryptocurrencies as one of the sources of income for their business empires.
