In an existing thread, after making post, it is obtainable that I preview and atleast crosscheck spellings and punctuations. However, recently I can no longer preview my posts, no matter how I try, it will throw up this error.

Even this post, I wasn't able to preview it to confirm if the image actually did display.

This is something to do with the emoji on the subject, once you remove it, it will work, it's the same if you hit the post/save button if you use the modify icon not the button.

+1 Karma PX-Z I think you pretty much gave a simple reason why it didn't work for the op. For some reason it's actually seems like SMF forums do not support some certain emojis by default in fact it's almost as if they don't support real-time emojis at all although when you post they will actually display them.
That message usually pops up when an unallowed character is among the characters in the subject field. You may not be able to preview the post but if you eventually post it the emojis will still display.

You mean to preview, I will have to remove the emoji on the subject even if I wasn't the one that created the thread?
Well, it's true because I was able to preview this particular message because no emojis attached to it. +1

Yes, you can even change the whole subject. If you don't want to remove it it's either you don't use the preview button or just put it back later after the preview.

Weldone for calling my attention to it. Besides, PX-Z has already given me solution. So, I'm locking the thread now.
