I want to trade with some of my tokens listed only on IDEX. They have few options for deposit, but I don't like to use the there private key from my regular wallet. I want to create new wallet/account there and deposit tokens which I want to trade.
When I try to create new, they give me the private key as a picture. I can't copy/paste to back up.
How to convert this into text?
which is the easiest way to use this exchange?

Yes, I know. But step 3 Click “Got it, Get my Private Key” is not possible because PK I got only like the picture.
Now I am logged in with JSON file + password. I am going to try

That's weird. I tried right now to get a new wallet and I didn't get the PK as a picture.
Well maybe it is a browser issue..

I would highly suggest you to use metamask if you are using chrome browser.
So if you are logged onto metamask, when you go into idex, there is no need for you to do anything. it will auto detect and you are able to transfer your metamask tokens into the idex immediately. And metamask is more safe as even when idex is hacked, they cant steal your metamask info as you did not key in anything.

Metamask is safe as in you need not key in password to any website.
So even for MEW, it would be safer to use metamask. For example, the recent few times when MEW was hacked, if you log in MEW during this period of time, you will lose your acc. But if you always use metamask to connect to MEW, you would not have the risk of being hacked.

Thank you mate.Metamask was really a good input to make our profits secured and reliable for avoidance of hackers.

Best option is to use metamask otherwise if you create a new wallet it’s a mess if you want to trade for example coins gained from airdrops because you need some eth on both wallet to pay gas

I agree with you, I also use MetaMask when logging into IDEX. After using the exchange, I always log out of the account. Using a private key directly someday will necessarily lead to the same thing that happened to the Etherdelta exchange when it was hacked and users lost their money :o

my advice do not do trading on IDEX, it is too dangerous for your assets.
IDEX is vulnerable to hackers.

Tried to create one and it worked, maybe you just thought that it's an image but it's actually not. What I was thinking was, you right click without highlighting the private key that's why it didn't give you an option to copy.
Double click the private key (or manually select it) and it will be highlighted in blue, right click on your mouse then copy and paste somewhere.
