As technology continues to advances and shapes our lives. Do you think technology will eventually replace traditional teaching method, or will it forever change the way we learn, what your thoughts about it?
-
The answers No.
if there’s one thing I know about Technology, that’s the fact that it needs humans in order to operate efficiently, constant updates and maintenance. And all these still requires humans and the traditional knowledge. Technologies are only here to make life easier and increase productivity and efficiency, not to replace what we already have. Yes, there are gonna be lots of changes but that doesn’t mean it’s all going to disappear and be completely replaced.

Replace the teaching method like on what way? You mean the teachers will be replaced? By whom? No one can replace this teachers in any way, technology is there only to learn, to guide, to provide tools for easier to teach, and it will continue to transform and enhance these traditional ways. More importantly to leverage the strengths of each (technology and traditional ways) to improve educational outcomes.

I dont think technology will completely replace traditional teaching but it will change how we learn forever Schools will still have teachers because students need real people to guide them and help them understand things better But tech like online classes AI and smart tools will make learning easier faster and more fun It just means we have more ways to learn not that old ways will disappear

During covid, the classes used to happen on laptop screens, so it was kind of replacement to the traditional classroom teaching method.
-
In what way do you mean, technology has been shaping the way we learn for a longtime. People now run a full program over the internet, that is technology. Talk about research, we do it with the help of technology, i can name a whole lot more. Robots are not going to replace teachers if that is what you are asking.

Yes, the AI technology and robotics will change the educations system fully and they'll fully replace the traditional teaching system for good. I believe that in future students don't have to attend any physical classes as they can learn everything from AI and robots that are built with AI system in build in them. There's chance that those robots will be much lower in value in coming years and even a middle class person might be able to afford one for his family.

I don't think this will happen, i don't think there would be a time when robots will teach people at their home. AI and technology will make teaching easier, but i don't think anything is going to replace human teachers, at least i don't even want such a time to come.

actually i think it has already changed the educational aspect of our society
you will notice that back then for us to find information we had to get it from people or from books but now kids these days can easily click on their devices and immediately get the information they are looking for many schools are integrating technology into their teaching methods making use of technological devices to more efficiently teach their students
many devices also have features that help kids learn better so it has already changed and slowly the traditional teaching method cease to exist

The rise of computer base training and video tutorials had already changed the teaching method. There are people who prefer to interact with computer alone and not with teachers. And its easier to find tutorials these days since more people experienced the same thing and upload it on youtube.
People learn faster and quicker by just googling what they wanted to do in particular. I asked someone how she edit her videos, she said she only search how to cut and append videos using openshot program. Nothing more, she doesn't even need a full video tutorial on hose to use the program.

I really think tech's going to shake up how we learn but I dont see it kicking traditional teaching out the door completely. I love how digital stuff, like apps or videos, makes it easier for me to learn what I want, when I want, and even tailors it to how I think. But honestly, there's something special about teachers that tech just cant copy. I mean, they're the ones who nudge me in the right direction, get me to question things, and cheer me on when I'm stuck, machines dont do that. I picture the future of school as this cool mash up where I get slick tools to dig into stuff on my own but still have real people there to guide me and make it feel human. It's like the best of both worlds.

Technology can make traditional teaching methods better of course. With technology it will be possible for some students to get practical experience without being in the field.
Technology of course will still need man's control to actually function well.

It is already changing, people nowadays uses online to research the stuffs instead of going to library and it becomes easier with the evolution of technology. But the evaluation still remains same, I bet we might see a change in that too because that is the right thing, we don't need anymore to increase the skill on memorizing the contents alone, we need to create system that evaluate the creativity as well.
-
I think so because I came across an online dailies where a man was talking about passing IELT exams with the aid of an AI robot and I was amazed to see such happen because I know what is involved in the whole process of taking such a class and preparing for the exams.
30-year-old Vietnamese achieves perfect 9.0 in IELTS with AI practice (https://e.vnexpress.net/news/news/30-year-old-vietnamese-achieves-perfect-9-0-in-ielts-with-ai-practice-4854800.html)
Although these machines are programmed and controlled by humans I believe these are just to make the learning process much easier and faster to reduce the long gap between communication processes.

Yeah, technology is already changing how we learn. People just look things up online instead of going to the library, which makes it way easier. But yeah, the way we’re tested hasn’t changed much. It would be better if schools focused more on creativity instead of just memorizing stuff.

Irrespective of the importance and advancement of technology, I don't think that it will ever replace the traditional teaching method, this is because technology such as let say AI can never understand human emotions and state of mind at a particular time when teaching ongoing but a human personality such as our teachers can easily do and as such make necessary steps to ensure that the student properly understands, but this is not the case with technology it just give out the information to you without even knowing if you understand the displayed information.
Also behind every technological advancement is a personality who imputed those informations, so there cannot even be technology if there isn't a teacher or one who has enough knowledge to input it.
-
Absolutely not, Even if technology is increasingly integrated into education, it is unlikely to completely replace traditional teaching methods, but rather serves as a powerful tool to enhance and complement students. Traditional teaching methods that are important for holistic student development and personalized guidance that technology may struggle to replicate. It is also possible to create an engaging and dynamic learning environment through technology, rather than traditional blackboards and books.

Thing I like about learning from Internet is, you can learn at your own pace and you can pretty much find everything on Internet these days.
A Google search yields all information you may need. Sure, there are courses available which may require payment but in most cases free stuff available is enough.

Well, that's what I said. Some top institutions in the world standout in that way from the average college that we can find nearby but still we need to improve a lot in the evaluation, we don't simply have to pick the smartest ones, the should be enough room for all kind of people because some have excellent skills beyond the academics that is not just only the sports.

Correct, why not just take the best of both world? traditional + technology = better education for our children. And we are being tested during the pandemic itself and it looks like to be successful as kids go online schooling. But it doesn't mean that they will go 100% of this method of teaching.
So for me, we shouldn't think of technology replacing the old and traditional method. Yes, there are tools right now, but at least a good face to face is needed.

The possibilities are there on which we do know that technoligical advancement is inevitable and this could be changing up certain industries as long it would really be applicable or something that could really be integrated. We do have already AI as of this moment and if things becomes innovative then teachers could really be replaced with robots or automation lectures on a giant screen and making out some exams on project or whatsoever. So it will be always that possible about such changes on where it will really be could happen and this is why its better not to make yourself that going against these changes because as we do go forward then there will really be innovation on changes on which it will really be affecting certain or almost of industries as much as applicable.

In my opinion, the traditional method of education can change because you think about the way your parents studied and the way you study. If you look at it a little, you will understand that there are many differences between the teaching methods of these two generations. In the same way, the teaching method of your next generation will definitely change. Right now we are seeing that everyone is now leaning towards online Edteach. And with AI, almost everything can be learned.
So it can be said that in the future the traditional method of education will change and new methods will come.
But there is no alternative to physical mentors.

I acknowledge the fact that technology has greatly contributed to humanity's knowledge and understanding of several aspects of the economy. And it has been really helpful to the development of the economy. And it has replaced several traditional methods.
But I will stand strongly and firmly to oppose anyone that said technology is going to replace the teachers totally, No Way. Teachers will make use of technology to make themselves more knowledgeable so that they should deliver it to the pupils or students in a comprehensive manner, approachable manner, and accessible manner for the understanding of the students. Education should remain under the guidance and direction of teachers and technology should be a supportive tools rather than the other way round.
-
Technology will continue to develop over time but traditional teaching methods will not become extinct or replaced by modern technology because the human population is very large and those who live in remote areas will continue to maintain traditional teaching so that it is not simply forgotten, but in the future I will not know what it will be like (50 years from now) if the parents who introduced tradition are gone, perhaps modern technology will slowly replace it.

Yeah, the old ways will surely be there, it can only be modernized but can’t completely replace or wipe out, just as you say students will definitely need real teachers we can be directly or supporting and encouraging them to be good, also be of good example to them, yes AI can also do it but they don’t have feelings, they can really understand or have the feelings when one will need their help, they are only here to support or assistance us but they can’t erase the old ways, it can only be fun and faster just like you said but it can never be the best.
-
Technology has already influenced our traditional ways of teaching in school already because before now people will have to go to the school to attend lectures and write notes and summit assignments but now the story is different there is what they call distance learning where you don't have to go to a physical school but everything is done online so you don't need to attend classes in a school or even summit assignments to the lecturers but everything is done online including examinations and more is taking place so technology has greatly affected the way and manner that the school system was been run, One good thing about technology is that it makes things easier and unique for people because currently in this our era there is no field that technology has not affected and the educational sector is one place that it has greatly improved in terms of the way that schools are been run so technology has changed the traditional way that school was known for into a different ball game together

On some industries on which it will really be that something that there are things on which its been completely been that changed or something that being that totally replaced on which its really that not shocking and as long it will really be bringing out that convenience and comfort to humanity then this would be most likely be adopted and would really be changed up. Those traditional ways wont be forgotten though since its part of history on which it will really be that normal. We will really be trying out to change up things accordingly since innovation and development is something that cant be stopped or something to be inevitable. Traditional teaching method? Surely it would be that still staying up because nothing beats out when we do have that actual or having that real time teaching made by our human being teachers. :)

Yeah, I agree. Technology is helpful, but it can't replace real teachers. We still need real people to guide and support students. Online classes and AI can make learning easier and faster, but they can't understand feelings like humans do. It's good to use both old and new ways of learning together.
