I am new to this forum, so I want to ask what the forum's policy regarding AI usage is. On bitcointalk, we do not promote AI usage in posting, especially writing AI-generated text in the post. Do we have a similar AI policy?

You will get an AI tag and if you continue you will be under rebview for spamming and your account may end up being banned if the spamming continues. Also, your chance of joining any of the signature campaigns will be almost non-existent.

But what are the parameters? What percentage of AI text is allowed? I mean, is there any dedicated thread where members can report AI posts on the basis of some predetermined criteria?

Using AI for posting is a form of plagiarism, so it is more a question of a moderator's confidence that the post was written with AI help.
You can report AI posts in this topic https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?topic=180544.0 (https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?topic=180544.0).

memehunter, if you have read the post from the link that Jokers sent you, you will see that there is an update (from the administrator) from yesterday (red text) for the cases in which the AI generated text does not apply.
Amending rule (admin edit): AI detection is to avoid users relying on AI to create posts to rank up. But it came to my attention that it can also be used by project managers to create content (like ANN, bounty, airdrop, etc) or proofreading content. Thus If the content is created by projects managers or people associated with projects, we will not enforce this rule.

Why can't we have some objective criteria against which any post can be tested like we have on bitcointalk https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5456516. It will be much easier for overall scrutiny and will definitely remove room for subjectivity.

I will whenever I find something worth reporting (as per my confidence). Thanks for the thread.

Yes, I can see that and will be mindful of that. I do not think it is good to make this bifurcation. It will only make things complicated and not fair for many members.

The final decision on bitcointalk forum is on moderators as well. If you find anyone using AI on the forum you can report it, any help is highly appreciated!

I don't see it as a bifurcation like you say. It is about differentiating between projects and announcements that can be made by managers and representatives, and users who use AI to create a large number of posts and thus position themselves better to easily rank up without any effort. Anyway, I guess this new rule has nuances that we will see over time.

ai can be used but not by members to create posts we encourage originality and creativity here and usage of ai does not allow for that unless you just want to use it for research and data gathering then i think use of ai can be efficient that way but many cases here where members just want to increase their activity and be able to gain merits so they just feed prompts to ai and copy paste it in that sense that is not even their original work so why post it here for everyone else to see?

If you post Ai here, in that case you will eat a tag for it which will never bring you a good reputation. Because having this tag you can never join any campaign and having it means you are Ai poster and you have no good knowledge. so always avoid Ai posting

Thank you all for your valuable input. I think I should lock this thread as I have got an idea about my query. Thanks a lot once again for giving me some clarity.
