The meme coin space works very differently from regular assets and well holding cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin. Therefore being able to pull off this alone is not enough for you to be able to gather enough liquidity to pump the meme coin you would be creating.

Aside from creating the meme coin alone there are other things involved in order to ensure growth before they dump the coin and one of them is advertisement and also hype.

Whether this kind of work is still said to be a DEV, even they don't understand any code and just make memecoins very easily and then market them to deceive a lot of people, DEVs really don't do this kind of easy thing.

The purpose of creating memecoins like this is just as a trap to take the liquidity of many people who enter in the hope of making a profit,
but the creators of memecoins like this will just sell it and then walk away with a lot of profit.

Yeah, saying you can be a dev just because you can deploy a meme smart contract is setting the bar too low. What if someone wants to add a custom code, can they do it easily with this platform without understanding a single thing about Solana programming language? Only a newbie would fall for such a marketing gimmick. A project who live on a platform like this will be discarded easily when the hype for meme is over.

The excitement of memecoins like this will indeed end up being garbage because the developers don't know how to create smart contract codes and such, they only do marketing to attract the interest of many people so that many buy the memecoin.

Now it has been proven that many memecoin projects like that, and in the end a good memecoin is abandoned by the developer so that the project becomes the CTO and is passed on by someone who understands how the memecoin should be developed.

You'll be quite surprised how easy it is so actually launch a meme coin these days. Basically there's no much work involved anymore you already have a couple of networks that allow tokenization on them and one of the most used one is solana.

Like I said earlier on the major thing that holds back some of these meme coins is just hype this is basically because of the fact that they need sufficient hype to be able to get enough investors that will pioneer a bigger pump else profit ratio would be lower.

Because that's what sells!
People want a cheap way to launch their pump-and-dump schemes, you would be amazed how many were interested in fake bitcoin hacking tools, and how many still buy wallets that are advertised to be able to cancel transactions.
This is the reality of the current market.
