I was surfing over Twitter some moment ago and I came across this meme of a bitcoin Ninja and decided to ask this curiosity question.
How much bitcoin in assets will you hold to make you protective in a Ninja way just like in the meme?

I don't know what's special about this meme, other than B word I don't think there's anything to it that links to Bitcoin.

Yeah, I thought about that at first, and considering how privacy-inclined bitcoin ownership is, no one will consider making their bitcoin investment public to the point of having a physical custom just to scare people away from stealing your Bitcoin since bitcoin itself does not have physical representations.
But also we just have to have fun sometimes and that is the reason for sharing memes in the first place at least based on my understanding.

I have not heard of anything like this before. Also it is not fascinating at all but it is kind of absurd. Maybe by me because I do not know what other people think about it yet.

What will make you to be protective is what you have as knowledge and experience in how to avoid scammers and hackers and his private you are.

What does "in a ninja way" mean in this case? I never saw memes like this before. The image doesn't really convey that message either. Is there any link so we can read the Twitter post you found?
Without any context I'd assume this image is created by someone who likes Bitcoin and trying to be cool about it.

I only have less than a hundred dollars worth of Bitcoin so it's impossible for me to become a ninja if that is the case of holding more than one Bitcoin. But if by any chance I have the money to buy then why not? I feel safe with Bitcoin given the current situation of political and economical unrest.

I thought ninjas were known to be discreet in their dealings so shouldn’t Ninja in crypto means those who perform trades or dealings without causing a ruckus? I don’t know if ninja is a term that describes one’s holdings as whales and the others are used for but surely a Ninja in the first place wouldn’t even want his holdings to be known to the public.

It is not a meme because it's just an image that shows a Ninja is a BTC lover, so he wore his special Ninja dress on which the BTC logo is printed. Besides that, it is not humorous therefore, it can't be a meme.
Overall I don't know how much BTC is needed to become a Ninja but from the movies, I think Ninja is someone who is very silent and dark, remains anonymous, and do his work in silent ways, therefore it really shows the decentralization and anonymity of the BTC but I think the real question should be to remain in shadows like Ninja while holding BTC or we should tell the whole world even if we own 0.001 BTC hehe.

In the past I can remember reading a couple of articles concerning bitcoin hodling and how many units of bitcoin you ought to HODL to at least be given certain names amongst whales and shrimp. Nevertheless it seems that most of them are hardly used since the one you will come across most times is usually whale.
Nevertheless I don't think ninja is part of the names given based on the number of units of bitcoin you Hodl as an individual or firm.

Nice art. The intention of the creator might be quite different from what you have explained in your post. I think your idea is a ninja who is well armed and ready to defend any attack on him.
Maybe I will go to BTT and check out a bitcoin meme thread and see if I will have explanations.

i wouldn't qualify to any of these label but a shrimp. if there is a way to be categorized as ninja even without a coin, i'd be honored to be among it. i'd like to be part of that ninja horde.

Owning 1Btc is a pipe dream for most bitcoiners, with the exception of those who were fortunate enough to mine a good amount of Bitcoin when it was literally cheap to set up a farm, as well as those who believed and invested too early.
To the OP, everyone who has ever purchased BTC is a ninja IMO because being a ninja requires a belief system. Everyone who ever bought some believed in the project.

I'm really confused, what kind of protection is it like to be like a Ninja? I'm not really connected with memes like this. What is certain is that I want to have as many Bitcoins as possible, not because I want to be like a Ninja, but it's just my desire, for my present and future and my family. And for security, I agree with some of the members here, yes, we ourselves can care for and also maintain security, by maintaining privacy, staying silent about whatever we have, and don't spread it in cyberspace, especially social media, regarding your ownership of Bitcoin in your wallet

There is no specific amount for small investors like me, and it's always been on the person-to-person case. the saying that you should only invest what you can afford to lose; even if Bitcoin is doing well, there will always be a risk of losing a portion of your investment, Ninja mark only applies to whales and big companies because they can invest huge.

Bitcoin is very expensive now so you will never be able to afford to buy enough Bitcoin now to make you the Ninja that your image is. There was a time when anyone who bought Bitcoins could now be ready to become a Ninja. But no one can get into a new investment planning or investing position unless he has millions of dollars to invest. But from my position if I could own 1 bitcoin I would feel somewhat like that. Because 1 Bitcoin is a very big amount according to my financial situation

For me if i can be to accumulate a good amount of bitcoin that the profit can be able to carter for all my daily expenses without me touching or withdrawing from the capital I used in starting the investment.When I have arrived to this stage of over accumulation were I don't have to stress my self anymore since the bitcoin in my holding that is the yeilded profit can be able to sort out all my needs thats when I think i have become a bitcoin ninja.

The image you attach to the post shows a general view about what early bitcoin holders think people who own bitcoin will be categorized on but in today’s market on how the market has moved from the price it was at inception, there should be a change to all this names because even with 1BTC in your portfolio, you’re not a small holder and can not even be regarded as a shrimp.
Knowledge is most important in bitcoin holding and how you handle your portfolio from not been attached by scammers and hackers is the best form of security you can provide to your holdings. When you own more than 1000BTC and have no protective measure for it, a person with less than 1BTC and have it more protected should be regarded as a whale and not you.

In my experience, there are three different categories of people:
Nocoiners who have no bitcoins at all
Whales who have at least 100 BTC (Adjusted for 2025 prices)
And everyone in between, they have some amount of crypto that's maybe small or large. These are the regular users.
I don't know any of these other terms being thrown around here.

Do you mind sharing what type of Bitcoin Ninja you will be at least something very close to what we have in any of the images shared on this thread, at least it will help us to get your point more clearly.
Although you mentioned that when you have enough bitcoin you can accumulate profits that take care of your daily expenses, that's cool though you gonna have a long walk to arrive at that state and it will require you to have a lot of knowledge also.

Yeah, never heard about other terms too.
For me, even 10 BTC is big enough, not for a whale, but for a big fishie out there.
It's more about personal perception of the matter ;) And slang.

The crypto security is such that even if I had thousands of btc, a one mishap and I would be back where I started, so I don't think there will any amount that can make me feel like 'Ninja'.

It's about becoming a good Stronghold rather than a Ninja, imo 8)
