No lies, social media has had an influence across all sectors and also on our interactions. For the best of friends and people who are familiar with themselves, social media creates an environment for them to maintain interaction even when they now have distance between them. On the bad side, social media has made it easier to meet dubious persons. This is why it is advisable to always exercise a level of restraint in your relationship with someone you only know online.

I am not active on social media, I was though but once I got off it the better I mentally feel and I also have more time at hand which was prior used in scrolling other people's lives with which I had nothing to do with.

We cant be able to deny that having social media as of today is really that making communication even more faster on which information could be passed through instant into other people or into tons of people world wide. I dont know if this one gives out some effect about on that physical approach or interaction into other people on which this could really be actually depending on a certain individual. For me, im a social media lover but still having that kind of well approach when making up some interaction with other people on which means that it doesnt affect me on negative way. Just be yourself and making up some effective communication when you are with other peoples engagement. It will really be that totally depending on a certain individual into this aspect on how they do make interactions.

i do like the fact that you used the word offering because at the end of the day social media is just a tool that we all use however you decide to do so social media can connect people easily and make great bridges or it can also serve as something dangerous to the people who are exposed to it but the reality is it all depends on how you can use it whether you decide to use it for good or for bad is entirely up to you

Yes I agree Social media makes it easy to stay in touch meet new people and share moments But it also has downsides People compare themselves to others focus too much on likes and even have misunderstandings It can also make real life interactions less common Social media is good but we should use it wisely and not let it affect our relationships and mental health

That is true. There are many relationships nowadays that have been changed by social media. It's easy to flirt in today's time because of how things are very convenient with how we match people to talk to if we're bored and just wanna find someone that we can converse with. While there are pros and cons to it, it's helpful if we use it for something helpful but it's worse if we use it for bad things.

Social media has created good impart in the society and also created opportunities for organisations and individuals across the globe while interacting with each other through platforms that technology has made available for us but however, it has caused a lot of things people never expected but it is left for us as individuals to choose what to listen and not to listen because we  are entitled to our own decisions and whatever choice we make is left for us.

With the advent of the Social media, a lot of people and business have been able to reach a wider range of users. The internet change the way we see so many things. I still remember when we had just few socials and back then you don't see much on there except for chatting and mailing. Buh now you can literally make friends with people you don't know on the other side of the world.bthe social media has both the negatives and positive benefits, but the positive has been able to outweigh those of the negatives.

Yes, there are positive sides and also negative sides and it depends on us who can utilize social media properly, do not be easily tempted by excessive offers because currently there are many frauds that are rampant on social media, we must be careful if we click on any link because currently our data can be easily stolen if we take the wrong steps. But for the positive side we can tell people about any information without having to bother to come from house to house because the use of social media is to spread any useful information.

What are the positive and negative aspects of social media?  First let's come to the positive side, through social media we can find our lost old friends, through social media but nowadays big business is being conducted, there are also many more positive aspects.  Now let's talk about the negative side, the negative side of social media is that everyone wants to look happy on this social media by following all the fake lifestyles, no matter how sad or depressed he is in real life, he will always look happy and at his best in the social media country.  He will upload his best picture on social media.

Agreed, I used Facebook a lot in the past but with the change of times I stopped using Facebook because it just wastes time. Currently I am mostly active on twitter and telegram because twitter media is very necessary to be in crypto. When I used Facebook, I made new friends and also chatted with my friends a lot. Social media is a useful tool for everyone, but many people use it for bad purposes. We may not be able to stop bad things, but we can avoid it if we want.

Personally, I feel like it doesn't impact me that much unless I allow them to. For example, I joined a Discord server of a community that I'm interested in, but most of them quickly turn into doom posting/negativity centers if no one monitors them. They blamed mods as quickly as they pressed enter on the keyboard too, so it's tiring if I keep looking at them. I decided to change how I use them and I block most discussion channels because people who talk a lot there usually complain a lot. My mental health got better after that so I guess cutting off social media helps me a bit. At the very least I don't use internet lingo in my real life just because some kids think it's cool to say so.

Yes of course, social media has impacted a lot of people in this world, it gives room for interaction between, family, friends or relatives that are separated by distance. It gives us the ability to generate new ideas and it also help some people to transform those ideas into reality, it keeps people informed about global events or anything that is happening around the world. But social media also have a disadvantages, it impact people both positively and negatively.

Yes it would really be that looks like a blade on having that two possible sharp or edge on which if there's an advantage there's also a disadvantage and we've been wary about that. It does really that affect about on how you do communicate once you do have that getting used to on dealing up with social media on day to day basis then it will really be that resulting into such possibility. This is why its really that important that you do really know still but actually it will really be just that not hard because once you do have that kind of behavior or quality of personality then its not something that could easily forgotten.

When we talk about social media influencing the way we interact with each other, I think we should put into consideration both the positive influences as well as those negative influences.
Social media has made the world a global village connecting various people from different backgrounds; race, tribe, religion ,age and as more as you can mention.
It brings individuals through a common platform to basically get aware of things around them i.e what is happening around you. I think there is more positivity attached with how social media influences the way we interact with each other.
Firstly, It basically boosts connections and relationships between two parties. It has created a platform where we can get to know about things and the environment from the comfort of our home.It also provides more job opportunities for individuals through the creation of awareness of these opportunities on these platforms making life easier and better.
About the negative impacts, we could see it through cyber hacking with the release of confidential informations. This information may include nudity images of individuals and other personal informant which may in turn affect the mental health of these victims.
There is still alot to say but in summarization, social media has balanced the diet for a healthy interaction between individuals and parties globally.

Yeah, social media is like a double-edged sword. It helps us stay connected with family and friends, share ideas, and stay updated on what's happening in the world. But at the same time, it can also have negative effects, like making people too dependent on online interactions or affecting real-life communication skills. That’s why it’s important to use it wisely and not let it take over our lives.

I don't know exactly what you mean. Social media has helped with networking and connecting to people that you probably may never have spoken to you in your life. However, it is always good to disconnect from social media sometimes and spend time in real life with your friends and families around you.

I think everybody knows this but lacks the will or discipline to do it. Heck, some clearly show dependence on social media or the internet. For example, I notice that people don't talk with new people in public places because most of them are glued to their phones. I think it would be nice if we could encourage people to disconnect from the internet once in a while. I don't know how to do it other than improving education because if they have no voluntary motivation to do it, it will just backfire.

Yes, it created a change people now used to texting instead of making the real conversation in person but it also opened the door to connect with the world which made people to explore different culture that some might adopted while others just passed by.

I don't use social media to look for friendship or any kind of companionship, just scroll and keep up with the trends across the world.

Social media has help us improve our life's and has allow both the introvert and extrovert people to relate because of the faceless platform they are and because people don't get to see the real personality of others, it gives them confidence to talk and voice out what is on their mind, what they can tell one another what they feel about each other.

However, social media doesn't allow people to improve their ways of communications. There are some people that can be funny on social media but in real life, they don't talk. If it's real life they do talk and communicate, they would have improved that  in real life.

Yeah, most people take their phones with them everywhere, for a walk, for a run, when in a family dinner, etc. it is not so cool, i used to act like that before, but i don't do it anymore, now i find myself leaving my phone at home more often and i am not missing much, it helps me meditate better.

For me, social media has really changed the kind of person I was before even if I didn’t change completely but at least I know some changes in me, I’m an introvert person in real life but in social media, I can communicate so effectively and this has helped me in many ways and I have also learned things both positive or negative, I won’t lie but I take  positive side and this social media has create some positive opportunities for me which I might not be here if not for social interactions and I have also get to know people lifestyle and how to follow up people especially when they are not returning the same energy to you.

There should really be that balance but so far i have been that dealing into social media or lets say that almost 99% of the population is doing so on which we cant be able to deny that information sharing is really that already at our hands by haviing our mobile phones on which we cant really be able to deny that it did really made out that kind of benefit to humankind in regarding abotu communication but just like we do know that there's always that negative effect, but in speaking about face to face interaction then i should say that it wont be totally that changing up because we can really be that still be able to communicate. Somehow there might be some differences but not that really much because interaction to other people is really just that something that you do naturally do.

The power of social media has brought up positivity and negative vices in our lives in different ways we can't begin to mention. I will state the positive aspect anyway because It is through social media that our voices are heard globally, and we connect with people living within and outside our reach. We share our views and stories for the world to listen to and learn from. We educate, entertain one another in different works of life.

I stopped using Facebook and I never look back for once because the app is full of deceitful contents where you might not even be able to differentiate between good and reliable contents and fake contents, it's juts fake information and the funny thing about all those contents that are been posted are been believed by the users, you can't tell them otherwise.

There is no crypto been allowed on some of these social platforms but Facebook is the worst place you might want to put your crypto contents, the way Facebook will index your account, you might even forget that you have an account existing in the first place, less I forgot how scammers will almost finish you with calls if they notice you have money your wallet.

What annoys me most about Facebook is the unnecessary requests from unknown people I have no idea about, and the privacy aspect of it is not guaranteed. Facebook syncs phone contacts to get those numbers registered on the blue app to showcase them as mutual friends and also as a possible request option for you, which is not proper. I just see that as a breach of privacy, hence one of the reasons I stopped using the blue app to avoid those unnecessary requests.

Yeah, I feel the same way. It's just full of fake stuff these days, and you can't even tell what's real or not. On top of that, the random friend requests from people I don't even know are just too much. The whole privacy thing is also messed up syncing contacts without asking properly feels wrong. It wasn’t really adding any value to what I’m trying to achieve.

       -      You know honestly speaking, I'm grateful that we have social media apps now. Because we know a lot that we didn't know before. Like those who spread fake news through social media, it is refuted and the information they spread is proven to be false.

At the same time, it is also used for true information,. and also because of social media, we also have extensive knowledge about bitcoin or cryptocurrency through the internet of course. So social media is really a big help, especially Facebook, youtube, Reddit and other well-known article platforms that we can interact or engage with in various parts of the country.

You are right. The blue app just makes fake life look real, and people get deceived every day into doing what they can not do in the real sense. I got irritated by the app's consistent all this which pissed me off to deleting the app immediately from my phone and do not want to have anything doing with it and since that time I did delete it, I noticed I was focus on x gaining more crypto knowledge and connection and it has helped me so far in my crypto engagements.

Everything About Facebook is fake and you know why the team has refused to be serious about tackling those fake things tag happen there, it's because the team enjoyed the traffic they get, if they decide to stop those activities today that people lie about post and post fake contents, many of them will leave and I think they fear of not getting traffic.

I prefer to spend my whole day on tiktok and X, they are two different social platforms and are mpr fun to interact and see things happening within and around the world than paying attention to Facebook, last I check I uninstall the app from my phone completely.

Of course, the traffic is what they benefit from the fake they allow on their platform, so it would be very difficult to stop it because if they do, there would be a drastic decline in the use of the blueapp and as such it would be a drop in the value of their stock so they allow the fake to continue its course on the blueapp and no reasonable person would still continue with the app after noticing all these fake the app permit on display.

Yep, I tend to fall for this fake images/news/videos until someone points out that it was fake, so I just stay away from social media altogether these days as  I don't have energy to filter out stuff. I do have some handles bookmarked that I find useful and directly go there.

Do you agree that social media has profoundly impacted the way we interact with each other, offering both opportunities for connections and pitfalls that can negatively impact our relationship and well-being. What your take on this.

Yes, social media has both advantages and disadvantages. So it’s left for us to decide which one can affect, we can choose it to affect us positively or negatively, although it’s really not that possible that it won’t affect us negatively but we should adhere more of positive things. Also it has create room for us to learn from other people ethics or experience through interaction between one another through social media and it has helped in creating opportunities for individuals such as job opportunities etc. That’s very thoughtful of the creator of social media.

Sofia media has had a tremendous effect on the lives of citizens. I don't need to be with Mr A before I can interact with him, I can simply be miles away from him and still be able to effectively communicate with him. Social media has simply had a positive impact on the wold, it has made life easier better and sweeter, it has made sales in business more lucrative, due to its ability to reach a wider audience.

Social media as impacted positively in the life of human beings especially in the aspect of communications. Were you interacted with our love one's who are far away from us, compared to holding days that you have to wait to send and receive your messages that take so much longer time to be delivered. But now it takes just some second to be connected with us and deliver your messages. And it has made it so easy too for people to know what is happening in there home country and also from other countries through news from our social media platforms and also from our electronic appliances e.g television and radio news. Technology as touched almost every aspect our life's.

When it comes to communication then there's no doubt that it did make human beings life to be more convenient and more easy in terms of communication on which we cant be able to deny that informations could be passed through instantly unlike into those old years before social media or lets say that smartphones become a thing. Now that we do have that kind of life then there's also that cons too but actually its not that something that could give out that huge impact because we can still that made out those casual interactions just like as normal at the moment that we do deal up with or talking with other people. So it will be that up to you on how you do adjust things accordingly and the most important stuff on here is that we are progressive in terms of technology on which it do make our lives way more better.

I will have to agree with your point here because the advent of social media app has made communication easier than it used to be back then were one would have to wait for days to see their letters delivered and also waits for days to receive a feedback based on the letters they have sent but that is not the narrative now as things has evolved, within few seconds of sending mail, message, chat etc it delivers to the recipient and they too immediately reply which doesn't waste much time to deliver as well.

With the social media app, one can do lots of things that would be of benefit to them when it comes to business, information, awareness, education, publicity, as one desires, etc. All you have mentioned are very true about social media, and it has been a very helpful technology to say.

Very correct, technology has really helped and changed most people lives, such as social media, it has helped people gain access to information, information like job opportunities etc, although social media involves both positive impact and negative impacts, but the way this world is now, most people are enjoying, engaging or even learning from their the negative impact instead of the positive impacts, that is why it seems that technology has proven to be of harm than good to the youth, but in life, people has to the right to choose whatever thing they want in life and how life can influence them whether positive or negative, it all depends on individuals.

It is true that there are two sides or faces of a coin, and it depends on the particular face that you like to see, you turn to, so it is an individual decision and perspective that one chooses what to do with social media to benefit them. But the wise would utilise the positive aspect of it to grow their capacity and knowledge, while the others would always follow along according to trends and vibes, and that has been my observation, but everyone is entitled to their opinion and the decisions they make in life. So, social media is there for everyone to use to their own advantage as it suits them.

i do like the fact that you used the word offering because at the end of the day social media is just a tool that we all use however you decide to do so social media can connect people easily and make great bridges or it can also serve as something dangerous to the people who are exposed to it but the reality is it all depends on how you can use it whether you decide to use it for good or for bad is entirely up to you

Very right, in this world, there is always bad and good but in everything, its entirely up to people on which they should go with, whether good or bad, although most people loves learning bad faster than good, even when they know that anything bad always leads to destruction, they would want to taste it by themselves before they will decide if they will change or not.
So in social media, it has both good and bad, it can expose people to negative things or influence one to choose bad but if one is not careful, they might fall a victim of circumstances, like wise good side of it will also expose people to positive things that can be beneficial to both the society and the people too.
