I saw option [Add To Buddy List] when I check someone's profile.
What is up with that option, is this some sort of option to keep track of someone's posts?
Do other person have to accept invite, or he / she don't have option to allow/refuse to be on someone's buddy list?

Well, let's try. Just added you to my buddy list. ;D
Seems like you didn't have to accept anything and the link now says "remove from buddy list".

This area allows you to maintain your buddy and ignore lists for this forum. Adding members to these lists will, amongst other things, help control mail and PM traffic, depending on your preferences.

Thanks I added you too to see how it works. There are not many options as far as I can see. But I can see if you are online or not. Btw. it seems that Altt also has "dead" messengers on profiles (YIM, MSN,...) it could be nice if that space could be repurposed to something else :)

It seems this is just a list of tracking someone's activeness on the forum.
I think this is/will be important to groups of people or a team that is being set up in the forum, that is, they known themselves physically and are members of the forum, which wants to have a watch list of themselves when active on the forum. It is nice for such reason, but maybe there could be other things about it that we might have not known yet for which it was created for.

It is like adding someone to your favorite list, and you can keep a check on their profile too, this is mostly private if I am not wrong, it is useful if you are too attached in chats with some group of people like you are a campaign manager and you keep getting PMs from different members but you want to track few.
You can add them to your buddy list, they don't have to accept it, because it is like bookmarking them, you can directly get the useful information on your buddy list which you can access from your profile.
