I don't know if this has been discussed but it bothers me this days because of the way government is controlling the CEX and we the users of those services are at the receiving end. We suffer the most by high charges and with bogus KYC and threatening to block and restrict our accounts if the KYC is not done. Vendors in those CEX negotiating price seriously when they have advertise the prices they will use to buy the coins, yet they still price and that becomes unfaithful to the ToS.
CEX restricting, frozen and blocking people accounts if the coins come a casino and they send it as multiple sending to many accounts. But if it is DEX, all those nonsense would not happened. But to see good and easy with good price DEX exchange is the problem here.
Can you tell the DEX that is easy, good prices to use?

Recommendations will depend on what coins/tokens you wanna trade. If it's EVM chain, there are dexes for each chain, and there are also dex aggregators which gives you best price amongst dexes available.

DEXs were my wish back in 2017 because I never wanted to complete KYC on CEXs. Back then, I believed crypto was completely anonymous, and I wasn't ready to provide my information to CEXs. Unfortunately, in 2017, there weren't any sufficiently large or reputable DEXs. EtherDelta was the first DEX I knew about, but it wasn't user-friendly at all. KyberNetwork introduced a more modern DEX idea but wasn't popular either.
After UniSwap and PancakeSwap became popular, DEXs became more user-friendly and became an option for crypto investors. However, my perspective has also changed, and I prefer using CEXs with lower transaction fees, only 0.1% instead of 0.25% + on-chain fees.
If investors want to use DEXs, they should look to the top DEXs in each ecosystem to get the best liquidity and avoid the risk of scams.

I do a lot of transactions every week, and I use a lot of DEXs
In my opinion, whenever you need to make a transaction:
SOLANA > go to jup.ag
EVM networks > go to jumper.exchange
Both will show you the best rate at the moment, with the best DEX, and you're unlikely to get a better rate on any other site

It's not hard to identify the top DEXs within each ecosystem in this crypto market.
For Eth: go with Uni and Sushi.
For Bnb: choose Pancake and Ape.
For Sol: pick Serum and Orca.
For Axax: select Trader Joe and Pangolin.
Using top DEXs provides high liquidity and security for users. Investors don't need to take risks with new and smaller DEXs.

Choosing a DEX exchange varies depending on your requirements. If you trade a lot, you'll need to execute orders quickly, regardless of fees. If you can wait, lower fees are preferable. The most important thing is to ensure the platform is decentralized. Many services claim to be DEXs, but your coins can be hacked or frozen.
