Title: Trading Vouchers
Post by: Gposas on March 27, 2025, 04:35:10 PM
Using these Centralized Exchanges on trading and other crypto related activities, I observed they give these Trading Vouchers especially if you just sign up with their CEX platform.

I still don't even know how these vouchers work because they are mostly related to Futures/Derivatives Trading which I am still a leaner and can't risk loosing my funds trading what I am not yet a step better than a regular trader, my vouchers end up getting expired each and every single one.

I just want to know from you people, if you make use of these vouchers and possibly how it works.

They are not worth it at all than to attract you to trade margin and derivative so that the exchanges can gain more money from you in trading fee.

If you have $100 that you use to trade, if you are attracted to derivative trading, what will come your mind is to use 10 to 125x leverage which means the trading site will gain 10 to 125 times more money in fee from you but you will be losing because you are a newbie and does not know the risk.

You do not want to trade derivative, then better avoid it.

You can see the details there if what kind of vouchers is it. But usually vouchers can only be used in the platform, you can't withdraw it right away. That is what I've noticed. Many exchanges gives vouchers to users especially those newly registered account. If there is an expiration you must use the vouchers immediately because once it expired it will immediately be removed to your account. Don't afraid of losing funds because it will not get affected as long as you didn't use it. Just read the instructions very well to avoid future problems.

Well I think those vouchers are also worthless, it's just one of their marketing strategies to attract newbies to their platform trading exchange.
At this point I understand them in that regard. It's just that it won't be effective.

Because it seems like it's no different from gamblers who sign up at an online casino that has a 200% bonus on their first deposit. The only difference is that they did trading and then in futures/derivatives/leverage I guess applicable in which is not good either and anyone who tries that will surely be liquidated.

I've come across such vouchers before, there are certain things you have to meet before you can actually receive the rewards. And if you aren't a regular trader, I don't think you should consider going through such tasks.

These vouchers are usually a reduction in trading fees or zero fees, so if you don't know what you are doing, avoid them. They are marketing gimmicks.

Its their dirty trick to get people into future trading, because newbies in order to use them start trading in future and start taking leverage and end up losing their money. This is an technique from these centralized exchanges but they are not only meant to target newbies, there are professional traders who use these vouchers to save themselves from fee.

Although the fee in future trading for every trade is very small while in spot trading it is big. Many exchange also give spot trading vochers but they are random and the voucher is mostly of $5 or $10.

so its just like the wager requirement of the casinos when we sign up?

i have not gotten into trading vouchers yet. its been a long time since i have signed up to a new exchange. but if i ever come across to it and only requires as small as a hundred USD. i wouldn't mind testing my skills in futures trading again. maybe i will win this time.

there is nothing wrong in trying it as long as you just limit the loss. just trade what you can afford to lose.  ;D

voucher are just some form of incentives for regular trading activities on the CEX exchanges to it's users. They are frequently given to users especially the newbies on the margin/future trading options as way to reduce their trading fees. Most times, they sre given to future account holders who are active on the exchange to encourage them.
In my opinion, i don't see vouchers as serious incentive because they are not withdrawable and often expired when not use on trading.

You are right, it seems that more vouchers end up being forfeited because users do not use them, I do not know if this is the case overall or just in my environment.

I rarely see them using the vouchers given by the platform. I think it is more effective when the platform gives vouchers in the form of gifts to be claimed directly. But of course the platform has also considered that too.

Firstly you must talk us deteails about kinds of voucher trading, some time have exchange market with trading voucher offering only available for fee trading and you can't use it for trading capital. In other side, have offering from any exchange with future capital voucher and allow only for future trading and profit earned only available to withdraw to be cash.
Sometime have difficulty regulation with future trading voucher, only giving us small leverage and difficulty to earn much profit because the exchange giving few coins only for future trading with under x5 leverage offering.
