Few days ago I heard about service called XMRbazar that is still in beta phase, but it is already usable for selling and purchasing stuff with monero.
This reminds me on similar projects that existed for Bitcoin before, but this one has advantage of better privacy.
Lets see if this takes off and gets more popular in near future:

I actually looked up the site and it's pretty nice to be honest. The whole setup looks a lot like that of most Dex I've visited too. Anyways this particular stuff actually reminds me of a discussion I had with a friend sometime ago. It was all about how privacy coins are beginning to go off grid.
These days people care less about privacy and Decentralisation and as a result of that the right attention isn't seem to be given to privacy coins like Monero hence the scarcity of platforms like this.

Monero community often boast that Monero frequently used as currency/payment method, so let's see whether it also applies to this website.

Are you talking about OpenBazaar? If so, i think it's not that similar since OpenBazzar was more decentralized, which also makes it's less practical to use.

I really like this platform.
I have already made several purchases on XMRbazaar and each time it was very good. I don't know if it had to do with the small amounts of the purchases or the items themselves (perhaps their category), but I would have liked to have seen an escrow system integrated into the platform, because here it was direct payment every time. As a result, you have to make sure that the seller is always active before buying, by checking their profile.
What I like is that most sellers have their SimpleX invitation associated with their profile, so you can check all the details and chat with them before buying.

Yes, there was OpenBazaar, maybe that project still exist, I saw it restart several times.
One big advantage for monero is privacy, and I have seen in many services that people use monero more than bitcoin for payments.

Nice to hear someone who actually used this service.
You don't have to answer if you don't want, but I am interested if you purchased physical or virtual items?
International shipping can be a mess even with fiat payments and big established platforms.

That is another positive thing for sure.

Till now it was only for virtual accounts and services, I haven't yet found anything that would interest me enough to justify a physical delivery. Also, my anonymous delivery options are pretty limited at the moment unfortunately.
Actually I find the platform a bit US-centric, most of the ads for goods are over there. But it's up to users from other continents to post ads :D

I saw they are offering international shipping and they have physical goods listed, but there is always a risk involved with that.
Maybe we are entering in more difficult times with international shipping connected with US, especially after trading tariff wars.
I already saw some services increasing prices a lot for delivery to US :P
