Here we go!
I just want to show you the process of Bitcoin pop ceiling making. With the love I have for Bitcoin and as a bitcoiner I decided to plead with my Husband to get the Bitcoin logo designed on our newly building ceiling. With this people would know about Bitcoin and is another way to promote Bitcoin since we do have visitors coming to visit us on some regular basis whenever we traveled home from city. I will keep uploading the whole process when it is done finally.
I think it's a pretty way to show people what we believe on, and as bitcoiner and someone who preach the words of Bitcoin it would be better we have the Bitcoin logo carved on our "Dinning Ceiling" and right from the process people has began to ask about Bitcoin and how they can start benefiting from it. I also have a video of it and if you are that interested to watch I wouldn't mind sharing on TG where I also made voice recording on the video. The main reason I made a voice is that people wouldn't start saying it's an edit or copy photo from the Internet and I took a wonderful photo with my daughter.
I will keep uploading the images as the work process is progressing, though never wanted to share but I think it would be nice we do this as well to show how strongly we believe and love bitcon, and of course I can't only be a forum user without demonstrating it in real life. Let fun begin..

More photo will be added after the final stage..
let discuss how we can further promote bitcoin in our localities..
I posted this the other forum and I have to also share here the love and passion I have for Bitcoin. You can drop you comments less descuss on modalities to help spread Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency across the gamble.

Congratulations on this amazing achievement. It's a creative way to promote Bitcoin and show how much you love it. This achievement will be shared with family and friends who come to visit you, and it's a great way to promote it among family and friends.
What material is the Bitcoin logo made of? Is it plaster, I think? Do you also plan to paint it in Bitcoin's gold color to make the logo perfect?
Congratulations, great work.

Well, I never thought of that, but just using art as a display in my home, carving something in the ceiling, and maybe doing some colorful lighting would really be an extravagant show of support in the cryptocurrency world, specifically Bitcoin. Congrats on that, OP.
-
Keep it up and I like the idea of it. And I'm thinking, when somewhat visited your house, the first thing that they will notice is that huge Bitcoin logo in the ceiling so that obvious next step is for them to ask you what is that logo and so they will become curious.
And who knows, maybe they will also go into Bitcoin investment, so at least you have convince someone to become a Bitcoiner and probably this will have a domino effect as the word of mouth will spread amongst your neighbors and family members.

yeah this is some dedication to appreciating bitcoin we often just have accessories to show we are bitcoin enthusiasts but you took it to another level it would also mean a lot if you are able to afford this renovation because of bitcoin itself
also i think it would look cool if you put some lights behind so that it illuminates your house and draws attention to the logo nice work! hope it works out well
-
Congratulations to you. I think, one way or another, we tend to promote what we love, and you've done yours in an exceptional manner that will certainly promote Bitcoin with ease. I don't think any none enthusiast would come across that design without asking what it means. Keep up the good work as there are more wins ahead.

It is usually in a powdery form, but it hardens when it comes in contact with water. Painting it gold might look nice though, but I think I have rarely seen a situation where people paint theirs with colors other than the usual white.

It is good that you let bitcoin appeared on the ceiling. But my concern is what people are turning to as they continue to know more about cryptocurrencies. There are many people that are attacked because the attackers know that they have bitcoin. Although, no one knows how much bitcoin you have which can make this not to be of concern.
Congrats SmartGold01 for the newly built house. It is worth celebrating.

Well, congratulations for the renovation of your new home. I like the idea and your love with bitcoin and the Bitcoin logo on the ceiling; maybe I will also consider it if I design my own room in the future, but I am not so sure about it. Other than that, everyone has their own point of view and way of thinking; we should always respect everyone's POV and the way they think. As for me, if I am at your place, I will not let anyone know I own a bitcoin or how many bitcoins I have. :)
Other than that, +1 for you for the love and dedication you have for Bitcoin.

In my opinion, this days it is becoming very risky to display any thing that relates to Bitcoin because of security reasons, which includes kidnapping for ransom, scammers, hackers etc.
Displaying a Bitcoin designed logo on an apartments is exposing you to higher risk of the unknown enemy, especially kiddnerpers or arm robbers who may invade the apartment. Honestly, it is not adcable to expose oneself to unnecessary hazards or unsafe conditions because of certain success achievements or for other reasons.
-
Still 50/50 to me, I mean if this is 2017/18 era, it could be good to promote BTC this way. But with so many physical attacks that we have seen, the OP might be a target. Anyway, best of luck to your goal on BTC, perhaps everyone has his/her own way of promoting the crypto that we love and this is what the OP might have find to better expose it to others. So best of luck to you, and hopefully, in your country they will see this as very positive.

Good notice. Recently there was a case (https://www.forbes.com/sites/digital-assets/2025/03/03/amouranth-bitcoin-robbery-attackers-demand-crypto-at-gunpoint/) when onlyfans model was tried to get robbed after showed screenshot of her crypto account. And this is not the first time when wealthy people with crypto were robbed and kidnapped. So giving on a display your life sometimes is risky. And we should not forget about that crypto is about anonymity.
On the other hand, a person can decorate his home the way he wants. It is all up to him. I can suggest OP to look for some crypto or Bitcoin related pictures. They would fit nice into your room once you finish.
-
Congratulations to you and your husband for the nice project and the beautiful baby, however I love your zeel in Bitcoin because this is what we call show in working, you have shown the importance role of Bitcoin in your live by given it a name in your home, people can also get motivated from there because the moment they saw how beautiful you made it they would also want to have the same one on there home and from there you have created a community that have realized Bitcoin investment is a productive one, I'm happy with what you have done. However I have also saw people who do that same thing on there walls and some as there TV stand .
-
Well, who could argue with a person who is really passionate with something like Bitcoin? And I love the concept of really putting up something that will remind us how we love and how we got benefitted by Bitcoin and the whole cryptocurrency industry. I am thinking...why not put it outside but then again I am reminded by someone's reply here on security concerns as there can be some people that will assume that you are full of Bitcoin so they may try to rob of that from you though of course am not familiar with your place so I am not a good judge on that. Anyway, thanks for showing us one way we can really promote Bitcoin to others.

That's the bravest thing I have seen, haha. First of all, I did not know you were a lady, from the very start, I thought you were a man. Well, that does not matter, the thing that matters is you want to showcase BTC, and that's a very good way, but once people come to know you are involved in crypto, they might assume a lot of things that you might not be doing.
I know we can't help them with their assumptions, and I always thought we should never showcase our financial interests like that, but I hope good for you guys and keep growing. I hope this will bring more prosperity. +1

Enthusiasm is one thing but safety is another.
There's nothing wrong with promoting Bitcoin, but I wouldn't be going over the top, as that could create an impression that you hold a significant wealth in BTC, meaning you could become an easy target for criminals.
But, as long as the logo is placed inside of your house, that shouldn't be much of an issue.

Yes, I know it, I think it's a plaster where it's mixed with water and then it becomes soft like a paste where you can mold it into the shape you want and then it hardens after that.
As for the color, it's true that it's mostly white, but it can be painted in any color you want, and since it's the Bitcoin logo, it's more appropriate to paint it in gold to make it more attractive.
-
It's a wonderful thing that you do and I hope it will attract what it is supposed to do. I did have similar though not exactly but wanted to create interior using the crypto theme but didn't really found who is someone capable of doing it or else I have to do all the work of designs, hopefully someday I will do that too or at least on my room but for now it just stays as wishful thinking...

I do think that it can be recolored once in a while for thematic reasons, for example, and it's a great end-product at that.
Viable and good-looking ;)

The whole process isn't done yet, though the design is done but I will add light when the house is totally in a living standard, currently work is going in the building and when the light is added I wouldn't mind snapping at night and add light to it to show the beauty of Bitcoin. You can visit Bitcointalk to see the final design over there.

Congratulations for your new apartment.
Here is altcoinstalk forum, will you therefore consider to also make a POP design of a few altcoins. Tether, Ether, Bnb will all make some good designs. I believe your apartment has more than one room.
But, also know that those symbols could be a sign to criminals, so be very smart and study your environment.

But, also know that those symbols could be a sign to criminals, so be very smart and study your environment.
I think this is the biggest reason why I don't wear or put any crypto-related symbols in my house. Good to see if someone can do that, but I prefer promoting Bitcoin or crypto through other means. If someone asks me in real life about crypto, I'll answer them, but I don't think I'll actively encourage them to use or buy crypto IRL. Anyway, hopefully good things happen to OP, and he can make something similar in the future without issues.

It is always a two-way thing;
Op might think that people in their environment are too primitive and might not understand what a bitcoin logo is. This is however not what OP meant. OP stated it clearly that they were promoting bitcoin in their neighbourhood with it.
On the second thought, even if people in the neighbourhood don't understand the logo today, they could understand it tomorrow and the implications remain. When some certain people understand that you are involved in bitcoin, they will just believe you are already a billionaire
-
Well that's great for you two and congratulations, but I prefer to be discreet with my crypto holdings.
Where I live, with a stash like mine, people find out you're big invested, they'll kidnap you and extort your family for ransom.
Maybe they torture you as well.
If they don't literally rob you first that is.
So I never tell people about crypto because I (figuratively) swim in a shark-infested ocean.
-
Congratulations for the achievement mate! For me it has positive and negative sides on a tactical perspective. For the positive side you spread the good news about Bitcoin while the negative side your privacy and security will be compromised. Nowadays, where the world is full of crisis you don't know who are the threats therefore you don't want to give them a hint. Here in my place burglary, theft and robbery is common and showing off a clue isn't an option. Last year or maybe a couple of years ago foreigners family member was kidnapped here in my country and guess what? Kidnappers demand crypto payment because they knew the victims are into crypto or maybe they knew the victims had crypto holdings. I assume you are living in a well secured subdivision so you are all good. Stay safe.
-
As much as I love to see people show their support and enthusiasm towards Bitcoin, I don't them to be a target of some crime like theft or worse. You have to think that there are some (maybe most) that thinks BTC is for the rich and flaunting that you own some by wearing shirts with bitcoin logo or putting in your ceiling could be dangerous.
-
First, I think it's a brave thing for the creator to admit himself as a Bitcoiner and at the same time introduce Bitcoin to anyone who visits there. I think the situation there is quite supportive of Bitcoin and all things crypto.
but if I were you personally, I probably wouldn't do that. I almost made a t-shirt about crypto, but I didn't, because it's still quite secretive here. and for security, it's better to really maintain privacy, unless there are some people who already know and are involved in the crypto world.
-
OP, you have found a great way to show others that you're a true Bitcoiner. Something like that can be done by only a few people who directly say that they're into Bitcoin. Some people still want to keep their Bitcoin investment private due to privacy concerns.
-

And rightfully so.
Because many are not as friendly / would start to ask many questions to come..

So I never tell people about crypto because I (figuratively) swim in a shark-infested ocean.
"He who swims in a shark-infested ocean must not complain about losing a limb."
Why not consider to relocate to a safer place. How careful will you continue to be in your neighborhood.
I recommend you relocate if possible.
Although, knowing very well that you swim in a shark infested ocean will make you keep swimming calmly not to provoke the sharks.
Putting bitcoin logo in cars, houses, clothes and more is just like setting yourself up for criminals. Who knows if Op lives in a secured and safe environment.

And if one cannot or doesn't want to relocate, we should just stay humble about it.
But it heavily depends on the neighborhood around..

Lovely art and passion for Crypto, I have a tattoo of BTC on my arm, and most times when I go out, people who don't know about it ask what tattoo is that, then I proceed to explain, promoting awareness and adoption

I also see the designs on our ceiling as a means of beautifications, so even though people don't think I have Bitcoin in my possession then they would know that is Bitcoin and lot of people are becoming interested to carve it on their ceiling as well, that call to know me from how much they would spare to you.

Obviously, I am also agree with your excellent comment. Because i believe that this design can be inspire source for any general people. We also believe that many general people don’t know about cryptocurrency world. If we can spread knowledge about cryptocurrency world, i think that gradually the can be interest gradually in cryptocurrency world. Because we know that if we want to be best peaceful life, cryptocurrency world will be best helpful source for us. So i believe that conscious for people about bitcoin or cryptocurrency market will be very prefer us.

I hope your design will bring more knowledge to your community and the desire to learn about what BTC is.
After all, that would be the best course of thought for people around, to crave more knowledge.

You know people don't usually know how to spread the knowledge of Bitcoin across and they must not go outside their environments to tell people about Bitcoin, gradually demonstrating their desires by either getting it printed on their clothes, car or tricycle or bike can even Make people to study about what they have seen. So, that doesn't necessarily mean that does people are holding millions of Bitcoin, infact with their appearance you would know that they hold any Bitcoin as people who are involved in Bitcoin investment are often expensive in their looking.
