Title: What's your Exchange experience with Onchain trading?
Post by: Mentaintrader on April 08, 2025, 03:54:35 PM
On-chain trading, deposits, and claims have taken a toll on us—especially for DeFi and DEX users. The stress of switching between chains, checking tokens, and dealing with high fees is real, ngl.

Now, some centralized exchanges are adding on-chain features to their platforms. This gives users the DEX experience but with better security, less stress, and early access to hidden gems. It’s like the degen experience—but on a CEX.

But here’s my question: from what I’ve heard, these features work without needing to create a wallet or connect to dApps. Everything’s handled directly on the exchange.

So… has anyone here tried on-chain trading through a CEX? What was your experience like?

I just read some info, and MEXC has just introduced DEX+ and is allowing users to use DEXs right on MEXC. This is quite surprising because it can't really offer a better solution than CEXs. Users will still be dependent on CEXs when using DEXs.

I think this is just a way for CEXs to add more services to attract users, it's not really a technological advancement. This feature would only be useful if CEXs had liquidity issues, and users could easily use DEXs to trade more easily.

What chains does it support? Seems that's the new trend rn. Bitgtonchain is offering something similar now. Tested it with buying Benji, rfc and Remus and tbh it's promising. I think these kinda feature are away to provide dex trading with cex security without the need for gas fees. What do you think??.
