Title: Might’ve just bought the dumbest coin on Solana $RFC
Post by: Daisycrypt202 on April 10, 2025, 01:45:28 AM
Market’s been brutal lately. Portfolio’s down bad, trades aren’t hitting, and bills still don’t care. I’ve been looking for anything that might squeeze a little upside doesn’t even have to make sense at this point.

So yeah, I was broke, half-asleep, scrolling through pump.fun like a degenerate (we’ve all been there), and I came across this coin called Retard Finder Coin. Actual name. I wish I was joking.

Figured it was just another meme with an offensive title and zero chance of surviving but I clicked in. No taxes, no airdrops, no BS roadmap. Fixed supply, launched raw, apparently tied to that unfiltered “I Find Retards” account on X.

What’s weird is… it doesn’t really feel like a rug. No overproduced trailer, no dev LARPing as Satoshi’s nephew. Just chaos, and it hasn’t imploded yet. I tossed in what little dust I had left, mostly just hoping for lunch money next week.

Not saying it’s smart. Probably isn’t. But anyone else seen this or did I just throw my last $12 into a hole?

I am interested on what can happen next with your small investment in a memecoin called as Retard Finder Coin $RFC which is evidently so another joke that may give you the wildest ROI ever or may just be another sucking hole and in that case you will just conclude that it is just for entertainment, anyway, since it is just for $12. You must really be bored and even a little desperate to do such a thing but who knows...many good things can happen when people reach that level. So good luck and update us here on latest developments on $RFC.

You did mention that it has zero chance of surviving, so don't expect much and just accept whatever profit it will give you, but with the very high volatility we are experiencing right now, anything can happen. Who knows? I did this many times, but at least I made sure that it has potential, however little, not on something that I think has zero chance.
There are hundreds of coins in the market. Give your investment at least a chance by having at least 50% chances.

Such coins are just for funsies, and should be treated that way.

Otherwise, a person can lose lots of funds on the desire to make lots of profit on them.

I was already out from the memecoin industry for a while now and other stuff like trading because I lost a lot from that most especially in the memecoin craze last year. I am not familiar with $RFC but hopefully you will make some good profit out of your investments OP. Good luck!

Was actually thinking you had broken world records of throwing $12 into shitcoin and it then worth $1.2m, never knew that the story gonna stopped half way.. any way lets see what happened next after you have invested. But truth be told and I must say that we can't expect much from altcoin nowadays since we aren't in altcoin season yet and bitcoin needs to scale up again to usual position before we could think something much productive for altcoins.

It's definitely not a smart idea but would you invest because the project doesn't promise anything? Maybe the project creator is lazy and didn't write anything in the project description but in terms of return pump.fun projects are a good way to lose money.

Like others have said let's see how progressive your investment will be since you are expecting profit from next week, however I would like to ask you about how certain you are that they would be listed as you presume?, from what you are even saying about the coin I'm already scared even if I don't no if they're actually true because from the first place I have not heard about such coin before, so I hope the money you use to invest it is actually what you wouldn't mind if anything happen because I don't no if you made the right choice or not.

Just know how that whatever comes along the way you should only gamble with an amount you can afford to lose; altcoins most especially meme coins are as good as gambling and that is to say that anything can happen at any time, no one can predict what will happen.

But as long as you need a bit of analysis of the project and find out that the coin does not have airdrop or other free coins allocation, it makes more sense that only investors hold the coin, this limits the possibility of a possible dump in price

Stay away from meme coins if you want to earn money safely because most of the investors who put their money in Solana based meme coins end up losing that money. So a word of advice is to stay away from those meme coins at any cost.

yeah the name is offensive but since when did that stop people? i even think that a racist slur can get some traction these days because there really are a lot of people on the internet that like to say offensive things for god knows why maybe they are just horrible people so i wanted to say that maybe the offensive word might stop this from growing big but at the same time maybe not maybe it might even be the thing that puts it on the map

you invested only for a couple of dollars and i do not think it will hurt much but if it does ever find success then you definitely did the right thing

If you know how to trade, you can definitely grow the small amount you have if you are careful with your trading activities. Now, if you are going to do that with meme coins, you probably already know the risks that can happen to you in that regard.

The volatility is very high on meme coins unless you know the right strategy to use and do it, right? so let's see how far the small fund you have will go.

Any project that is a meme or has meme attached to it is risky, unfortunately, i have not hard of Retard Finder Coin, I think this could turn a bad investments. Honestly, there are better investments opportunity on several meme projects out there, I will suggest putting your last capital on project like Dogecoin, Pepe. These are good meme coin that has leave up to the expectations of the crypto community over the years of their existence.

Why do I have this feeling that you are simply soft shilling this  RFC coin or whatever it's called?

I mean, what's the essence of evening talking about the coin here if really you have no plans of getting other investors involved it.? And look at the way you even went overboard to talk about how you do not think its a rug and other stuff, gives me a completely feeling that you are simply soft shilling the coin here.

Maybe you are actually the Developer behind the coin, but here pretending to be an investor, if I was to come across this coin on pump.fun, I would think twice about investing in it simply because of all this stuff you said here.

The part I picked up was where you stated you were broke. As you purchased it with dust and it was not costly, I am glad you will not lose a large amount. Anyway, you have to be careful with investments because though you would want to make profits, you have to expect losses to occur too.

It seems you by your own admission you purchased in a moment without thinking. Hopefully you will select an ideal time to sell/dump and get the dust back to buy you the nice lunch you mentioned.

Well, what can really say? A desperate and a joke investment in $RFC (https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/retard-finder-coin/) is turning out to be a goldmine. I am sure that OP can make a good money here if he did not let go of his investment before it made it to the moon. Right now, $RFC is at #284 in CMC at the current price of $0.1271 which is a hefty 92% from the previous day, leading $RFC to have a current marketcap of $122 million and a trading volume of more than $60 million. $RFC is now one of the top gainers in CMC and I think there can be more to this memecoin before it would be facing some rough seas. This is actually the magic land of memecoin...you just never know what will stick with the many new players coming and in many cases we can expect the unexpected. Of course, we are facing opportunities as well as an avalanche of risks with investing in memecoins.

Maybe you were lucky this time. I see that this token has risen well since its listing, and it appears to be continuing to rise.

I actually don't know anything about $RFC, but it suddenly popped up on the exchange I trade on. I ignored it the first time, but it popped up again on another exchange. I bought a small amount of it, and it was high, but I made some profits after a quick trade.

I hope this is your promised coin and that it will free you from the misery you're in. ;)

Honestly, you nailed it ahahaha boredom and desperation is a wild combo. Wasn’t expecting anything when I threw in that $12, just figured if it rugs, I get a funny story. But so far it’s done way better than expected. I bought around $0.03 and it hit $0.14 at some point

Still not convinced it’s “something,” but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t watching it closer now. If it keeps holding up through the usual meme dump cycle, I’ll definitely update here.

Totally get that. Last year’s memecoin season was brutal, I took a few hits myself, so I’ve mostly been on the sidelines too. RFC wasn’t something I planned on buying, just stumbled on it while doom-scrolling.

Appreciate the good wishes though if it flips into anything decent, I’ll definitely share an update.

Haha I wish, bro. I was already rehearsing how I’d act on a space if it somehow turned into $1.2M from $12. But yeah, the story’s still in the “plot twist pending” stage. You’re right though this isn’t altcoin season, and Bitcoin’s still setting the pace.

Though has similar stories but it was a God sent to them and it mostly happened to those shitcoin with too much zeros where they burnt some of their total allocation by 50 percent. This type the token usually doubled and those who were holding for long could have massive profits from their having patient.

Volatility is the key to it - the cap is so small it can be moved by a whale or two and then there is no confidence in what would happen in a day or even in an hour. Still, many try their luck ;D

It can happen to anybody, call it a lack of concentration or lack of focus. Keeping that aside, there was also a chance that for one reason or another the token could have hit unexpected highs but unfortunately for you the opposite is probably inevitable.

If OP bought on the 10th of April, he is in good profit already, imo.

Nevertheless, I definitely agree that it's a gamble just like the rest of such tokens.

meme coins are not the coin of choice for investment in my opinion, it is more appropriate to hit n run, where the movement of meme tokens is very fast and trends change quickly, avoiding choices that if we are not ready we will lose, $RFC I am not familiar with it, even in the group no one discusses this token, I think you chose the wrong token, but make this a lesson for the future so that you are not in the same vortex of loss

Trading entirely is gambling if you ask me tbh , and OP was damn lucky for getting in early .. if he had gotten in with more than $12 he would have made much more profits.. funny I also saw this token when bingx listed it way earlier than other cex , but I was too broken and too careful to buy . Guess I’ll start keeping check on them moving forward

Actually, your opinion is appropriate in this moment. If we follow in cryptocurrency market we can see that there are many stable coin stay in cryptocurrency market. So if we want to invest in this crypto, we should understand in this cryptocurrency. We also should be know about which coin will be best profitable, then if we invest i think that it must be correct decision for us. So if we want to earn best profit from here we should trying to understand in cryptocurrency market carefully and invest proper coin.

You have to give credit to the OP. How many people would post about the mistakes they made spontaneously when browsing a list of potential coins or tokens to invest in? And then to post about it in a jovial manner to make other members laugh, that was the icing on the cake. I hope the OP manages to get some returns on his investment :)

Yes, the market has been difficult lately, and sometimes all you want to do is try a little bit to find anything that would at least give you a feeling of purpose again. Although I understand, that coin looks like a full gamble, more of a why not? move than anything else. That it lacks the pump and dump vibe of the majority of others you've seen is still kind of intriguing. Unusual things like this have the potential to become popular for no apparent reason.
