Title: Is this acceptable here?
Post by: KingsDen on April 10, 2025, 03:36:34 AM
This user opened an ANN thread for their project and went ahead to occupy all the post spaces for the first page of the Ann thread, making it look like a typical social media spam. Is this acceptable here.

(No intentions to promote the project)

From what I saw, he posted on different days, and is doing the same as many other projects. The topic is not self-moderated, anyone who wants to can post, if the post has no engagement, it is obvious that only the OP will post. If he had done everything in one day, it could even be considered spam. Send a message to the board moderator (Jokers (https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?action=profile;u=45030)), maybe he can answer your question.

Seeing that nobody replied to his ANN thread, it would make sense to update the thread but he did it as a reply to his own thread. Not a violation I think but then its almost right in the gray area. I think its better to do this than ybex.io user hire someone newbies to spam his own thread as what others have done on BTT.

I have seen the thread a few days ago, I'm not interested on new projects though.

The project representative shares information about the project no more often than once a day. Don't see anything wrong at the moment. He answers questions from other users as well, so it is good to have active project representatives.

Thanks for your response.
I checked the project thread and just saw the Op post full the first page. It looks like a spam, but on realising that there's no much activity in this forum, it is  common that no one had posted in their thread and they have to keep updating it.
I will have to lock the thread now.
