Has anyone else experienced an issue with Brave crashing right after clicking post? It's been going on for me since yesterday for every single post.
I use Brave version 1.77.97 on Win 10. A similar thing happened twice when posting on bitcointalk, but on altcoinstalks it crashes after every post.
Is it just me?

I'm not using Brave in desktop but did you tried to clear cache and cookies (optional)? I saw their official post on r/brave_browser (https://www.reddit.com/r/brave_browser/s/63NV1WfbiD) but no one have the same error like yours, that's why i assume its only on your side. I guess you can post there too if the issue is still the same after clearing cache/cookies and restarting the browser.

I use Brave Browser 1. 776. 81 on mobile and I haven't experienced any thing like that. I don't use Brave Browser on desktop. If you're experiencing the same thing on Bitcointalk, then the problem is definitely not from any of the forums, could be from your browser. Try PX-Z instructions..
Nt: this post was made from Brave Browser mobile. ;D

If you don't have any passwords saved on your browser , In my opinion if you try out what PX-z said here and if it still doesn't work out you should consider uninstalling the browser and reinstalling it. Igebotz seems to be making use of brave too but on mobile.
I'm not too familiar with the browser though, but some ads I've seen about them is VPN and privacy related so my best guess issues may be coming from there too.

Using mozila and chrome on my end and not facing any such issues at sll except that 25 second limit once in a while.
I don't use brave anymore but you said you're experiencing the same for Bitcointalk too then the problem must be from the browser itself. Just reinstall or better go for the previous installed version because some of the updates might bring some issues like this that needs another update to fix.

Thanks, I tried that, but it helped only with the first post I made after clearing cache/cookies/history, but kept crashing again after that.
I'm switching to Firefox for now and will investigate later, when I have more time. I suspect it might have something to do with some extensions I have installed.

There may be a problem with your Brave shield settings. Try turning off those shields or setting your browser settings to default.
I've tried the browser and there's no problem, but in the past I've had similar issues changing font sizes after posting.

Using same version as OP, no issues with it on Linux. Maybe it's just a Windows problem, or a bad upgrade to latest version that was released a few days ago.
I'd probably try a a re-install first and see if the problem persists deactivate extensions etc. I otherwise have shields up on here and no issues either.

Using the latest version which is same as OP, I only observed some delay in making preview, and at first it crashed. Having reloaded it, it went well, without giving issues after posting. Maybe this could be challenges with the OS used, as I have observed that Windows 10 doesn't really work well recently with some applications (this is based on experience from different customers I have encountered). I used Windows 11 and the latest version of the brave browser.
Just for checking the situation, not because I really make use of brave browser
