In the world of today where almost everybody wants to take advantage of others, what will be the advice you will give to someone that is just starting in the crypto space?

I suggest reading the topics in the Beginner section. Since you are already here, you could point to multiple issues to help you understand what it is. You are going in for it, so always remember why you are trying to get into the crypto space.

prepare a stronger mentality to face people who have previously entered the world of cryptocurrency... everyone was once a newbie, so when they can succeed in becoming a professional in the world of cryptocurrency, it means they also went through various difficult things... so make sure to stay focused on your goals in cryptocurrency...
start with small things, gradually grow and enlarge... it doesn't matter when your path is slow, but what is certain is that keeping going is a good choice even though it takes longer...

Newbies are neglecting reading about crypto scam and hacks and how to avoid both. That has been the reason many of people are easily scammed or their wallet become compromised. Start reading about both and malware so that your coins can be safely kept.
What I also read more about is bitcoin. Although, maybe being part of a bitcoin forum member at the time caused it but it bitcoin remains the best coin that can be kept.

TBH, it's hard especially now that there are many "predators" is what I called on the internet space already.
What I would just say though is that if you're just starting in the crypto space, you should start on learning the basics and to do that, I would suggest to watch documentaries about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. That's also my starting point back when I'm learning cryptocurrencies, and it helped me a lot. Don't invest at first because there's a huge chance that other people will just take advantage of you especially if they know that you're a newbie. Please learn first before investing.
Also, learn what are the red flags of a project. This will be a huge help for you in determining which projects are scam and which are not.

In the world of today where almost everybody wants to take advantage of others, what will be the advice you will give to someone that is just starting in the crypto space?
First of all, know why you are in the crypto space in the first place. This will help you have a direction and stay focused on your goal without any form of distraction that may put you in trouble.
Secondly, any newbie who intends to join the crypto community should endeavour to study the dos and don'ts involved in investing in crypto. I consider this one of the most important things a newbie should do even before releasing their money to invest. I can't just invest in something without having a clue of what to watch out for. Take security tips seriously and keep yourself updated from time to time.
Again, inasmuch as we all want to make some profit from our investment in crypto, we should not allow greed to influence all our decisions. Not all opportunities in the crypto space are genuine. Before you invest, ask yourself: why is this too good to be true? Why do you have to disclose some private information before unlocking the huge profits promised to you? Why are they promising you a very huge profit within a very short period of time? Think first before taking action.
Finally, learn to do everything by yourself. Don't let anyone create a wallet for you, help you generate your private keys, or help you do transactions. Do not make yourself too vulnerable in the crypto space.

In the world of today where almost everybody wants to take advantage of others, what will be the advice you will give to someone that is just starting in the crypto space?
i will say to stay patient you might think that you are being left behind but the truth is there is no short cuts and if you even try you are most likely to just end up a step farther back than you started
a lot of us also had to learn a lot of things and take some time before we fully understood almost everything there is to crypto and even for us who have been in the space for a while we still do not know everything there is always more to learn and you are not gonna learn all of that in just one night and that is fine just make sure you continue to make progress

If you're just starting out, don't expect profits because you still don't understand how the crypto space works.
First learn how crypto works, what the terms are in crypto and how the risks and benefits are.
Of course, if a beginner knows what they should start with, they will get what they want in crypto.
I was also a Newbie as well and a lot of the lessons I learned, I started from ZERO and became a self-taught person who sought crypto knowledge from a wide variety of sources and the pad would eventually get used to and know how to make profits from crypto.

As a newbie, don't get carried away with altcoins and memecoins avoid them. Bitcoin is the only coin you should invest in for a long period of time. As long as you don't sell your bitcoin, you will not run at loss. Only use the money part of your discretionary income to invest into bitcoin so that you can forget about selling till your targeted time. Learn more about bitcoin history to understand what I mean.

In the world of today where almost everybody wants to take advantage of others, what will be the advice you will give to someone that is just starting in the crypto space?
The first step you take will determine how you will be next in this crypto space. Everything starts from newbies, and we must believe in our ability to be in the crypto space too. However, it is also necessary to understand that there are efforts that we must make to be able to really utilize and optimize our presence in the crypto space.
Learn some things about crypto, both in general and specifically according to the field you want. Indeed, all of that requires efforts, don't be easily fooled by anyone in the crypto world very easily, especially someone who wants to help you get a lot of money quickly and then asks you for some money.
Don't easily believe in new projects that promise so much gains in the future instantly, they may be scammers. and pay attention to several things related to crypto security, wallets, and various other things on exchanges or other platforms so that you can be more careful in managing your assets.

In the world of today where almost everybody wants to take advantage of others, what will be the advice you will give to someone that is just starting in the crypto space?
1. Use the right trading platforms, most of them need KYC so be prepared for it.
2. Don't use exchange to store your crypto, move to a wallet that gives you keys.
3. Don't fall for the investment schemes, they're 99.9% scams.
4. Invest the amount that you're afford to lose.

In the world of today where almost everybody wants to take advantage of others, what will be the advice you will give to someone that is just starting in the crypto space?
Have more common sense perhaps? There are a lot of things/signals/red flags that are screaming that a project is just a money grab but newbies ignore because of hype and greed. What's concerning sometimes is that these so called newbies are already adults that should be able to think well.

As one of the many newbies myself years ago, I learned from the mistakes I made eventually but am sure had there been a way for me to learn from others maybe around 50% of bad moves or decisions I got into can be avoided. When you are new to cryptocurrency, you need to recognize opportunities from frauds (and there are so many out there and fraudsters are so ready to give you a knockout anytime). Learn and educate yourself can be the best tip I can give you, And hopefully, your coming in to the forum can ignite your passion for learning so you can avoid the possible pitfalls many of us have already encountered and for you to also connect with a community of good people.

In the world of today where almost everybody wants to take advantage of others, what will be the advice you will give to someone that is just starting in the crypto space?
"Focus more on the learning aspect in the initial days because that knowledge is going to help you later in the journey."
That's what I would say as the first thing to someone who is just starting in this space, because I've been through it. I know how crucial it is to have as much knowledge as possible, because that allows you to explore things more easily and conveniently. If you decide to get into trading instead of just buying and holding which is called investing, then extensive knowledge is essential.
Remember that you shouldn't be in a hurry as a beginner. It is too tempting, I know, when you see others earning money from trading, you feel that you should do that too, so that you can earn some money, but if you are new, you are going to make mistakes, and that is going to cause you losses. Be patient, learn everything, and then you will have plenty of time to do all that and you will also be able to do it more effectively.

Knowledge plays a very big impact on anything one found him or herself doing cause without knowledge a lot won’t be successful. But just as you said knowledge gives more probability and opportunity over what so ever you are doing in this world.
As a Newbie you really needs alot of knowledge and commitment to the market. And learning much more strategy and analysis will give you bigger privilege and successful entry’s, and must important patience don’t rush into things many might be winning huge funds everyday but don’t be in loss aspect. maximizing your loss will keep you growing with time and dedication you will get it all right and be a profitable trader.

The crypto world is not an easy subject at all so prepare your skills and a strong mindset to enter the world of cryptocurrency. We were all newbies here once and many of us lost a lot of money in the beginning. Moreover, practice from cryptocurrency forums and build your own experience. Then gradually focus on your goals from crypto. Like there are strategies like trading or investing so start with small funds. It may take longer, but you will only increase your investment funds when you can take on enough risk and make a profit.

To be fair, you need to know some stuff before having good common sense. I do agree that the basic principle of too good to be true is quite easy to grasp, but knowing the limit of "too good" is important before you can follow that principle properly. Which is why there's nothing to suggest other than newbie should read a lot, whether it's about scams or about how they should manage their wallet properly. Since OP know about this forum, it's also a good suggestion to ask if he's stumped with a troublesome stuff, after he tried to read or find the answer of course.

I'm not really sure of what you mean by everyone wanted to take advantage of others? Of course if you sell then someone will have to pick up the crypto that you have sold but it doesn't mean that they are taking advantage of you. Only you can decide whether to sell or not.
As for the advise, just take is slowly, don't think that crypto is a get rich quick scheme otherwise, you might lose a lot of money. Just study and learn and read a lot o posts here or in the other community. Take it one day at a time and don't rush things up.

Very good point, you are absolutely right.. not always something that sells and buys is about profit... it can be one of the uses too... in the crypto world every request does not mean buying at a cheap price, because we never know how someone will use the crypto....
And for newbies who think crypto is a get rich quick scheme, that's what actually makes many people start to have high expectations... making it even more heartbroken when they see the reality that crypto is not as easy as imagined... nothing is easy when it comes to money, if it were, then there would be no poor people in this world...

Agreed. Since scammers are getting smarter day by day, having general knowledge about past scams might not be enough for newbies to stay safe but they will need to keep themselves up to date with the recent news and information so that they can have a know-how about what new scams are circulating in the market right now and how they can stay safe from them.
Forums, such as this one or Bitcointalk, will often have such stuff posted for members to check out, but apart from that, one can easily find a lot of new stuff, such as news, informative articles, and a bunch of other stuff from news websites such as CoinDesk or Cointelegraph, etc.
Newbies should try to get themselves equipped with as much knowledge and information as possible. It will help them with their journey.

Hmm for newbie I will say listen to others but act on your own intelligence because 10 people would give different ideas and a newbie can be confused so to save time and energy they should listen to all and use their common sense and study to choose which to follow for this action either it is trading, staking, farming, investing etc.
I was a newbie once and I remember if I would not be a part of BTT community or this community I might have lost my funds either to scammers or fraudster because on interest everything exists but here they come up with the important topics which are necessary for us to read.

To be honest, you should take your time, learn the concept, and ask questions about anything you don't really understand, especially when it comes to cryptocurrency trading, to reduce risk because you're still a novice. However, I think you will learn more if you continue, so stay focused and have a profitable trading career.

Here you are, then you are moving in the right path. Just read what others were saying but don't believe everything as it's written just cross reference it with others and that's how we have to aquire knowledge. And you asked a vague question so better be with specifics about what you wanted to know instead of just asking a generic that will give you nothing but generic replies.
