Title: Re: How often do you refill your gambling budget
Post by: Igebotz on April 26, 2025, 02:30:34 PM
When do you refill your budget?

I am more of a passive gambler than an active one. I can go months without gambling and only gamble when I have a specific game in mind, usually on my favorite team or in difficult games to show my support for the team.

Gambling has never been a viable source of income, so no budget is set aside for it. I just have to let go of some money when I want to gamble, and then I stop gambling for a while because not all games appear interest to me at all times.

You know gambling is not something we should take as an occupation or somewhere to make an earns meet, but whenever there is a trusted and reliable games we can bet on them, so I does as well. It's actually important to have a gambling budget beit an active gambling or passive gambling it's that necessary to always have a specific amount to allocate to gamble when gamblers, for instance; you can actually set aside gambling budgets for the month week or days depending on how long you would want to spend gambling and whenever such amount is exhausted then it would be wise to distance the gambling site.

Just like I have posted several times, I use 1% of my weekly budget to gamble. If it is more than that, I make sure that I do not gamble until it is up to or less than 1% of my weekly budget. I am not also a frequent gambler for this reason. I have control over it also.

I'm also a similar type of gamer but from the time when I discovered online Poker games then I can't wait for months to go without it. I can wait a week and do participate in free contests but sometimes I do spend money on it and even if I lose I don't regret as that game is much enjoyable for me.

I actually keep a monthly budget for gambling and divide that budget into each week and spend my gambling funds on whatever day of the week I have the time and opportunity.
Since winning or losing by gambling is completely a matter of luck, I have different situations every month. For example, sometimes I don't have to refill my wallet for two months. Because I gambled less in that month and won a few matches, some profit was also added. This is my experience and strategy at a glance.

It is common after a campaign payment to replenish the bankroll once a week but it is not always fixed sometimes there is a saturation of playing gambling because of losing continuously then trying not to replenish it and it is better to take a break in a few weeks to be able to recover again.

Indeed, now it is not a passive gambler who always increases the bankroll but rather a discipline where a little money will not force again.
So to bet now the minimum possible and will keep smaller.

When I was in the industry before I quit, I usually place bets every single day when I still have a 9-5 job but when I quit that job I think I only play like once or twice a month and that is from lottery. When I came into online casino I usually play until my fund is drained though that was just a few dollars from my spare change. Maybe all in all it can range from 1%-5% from my total income.

Whenever I feel that I want to gamble then I will deposit some funds. How much? Depends on how I feel as well. :D No specific amount, and no specific time to refill. Talking about being a casual gambler, eh? :D

Anyway, we're almost the same. I'm gambling when I feel to, but most of the time, I only gamble whenever I see sports that I love to watch that's for me entertaining. Examples are the NBA playoffs, our league's playoffs, the MMA, boxing events, and sometimes even Darts games. Like most of us here, nobody looks at gambling as some source of income as well. I only see gambling as a way to be entertained while watching games (since I'm mostly on sports games), and I'm okay if I lose my money. If you're a pro poker player then it might be a different situation.

good for you that you can do this but i know for a fact that for some people if they had this much freedom they will just do whatever they want and end up losing more money than necessary so they require strict budget and restrictions

yes a lot of us only play for entertainment but some people might enjoy too much and still end up chasing profit and may lose all logic when it comes to gambling

Not really as often. I am not a consistent gambler and only gamble occasionally. When I have excess funds, I prefer to go to physical gambling platforms like horse racing, and when there are special events in our place, I make sure I have excess funds to bet on color games.
It's important that you consider your finances when you are allocating funds for your gambling; it shows that you are a responsible gambler and it's not your priority.
