Personally, I’m not a huge believer in memecons or degen trade but I’ve been noticing memecoins are surging now, i would have said we are in memecoin season but i know memecoin doesn’t have a season.
Been thinking lately about their potential and all, i do trade them once in a while but I’m thinking if i should start trading them now, because i woke up today to see the price of different coins uptrend. These coins gork, $horni and shortcoin especially caught my attention because they did so well, won’t lie i was pained because i missed out on them. The past few months have been too have been nothing in short of profits for degens. To think i was always against memecoins before i don’t think it’s bad to change one’s mind, right ? If it were you, would you change your mind ?

The truth is meme coins have actually come to stay. It is currently one of the easiest way to create an ecosystem that you have full control and you are able to manipulate the direction of liquidity at any point in time.
The meme coin ecosystem is one that has made a couple of people bag a lot of liquidity in a very short period of time and on the other hand make a ton of people lose a lot of liquidity in a very short period of time too because of hype.

You are pointing out that they can be easy way for someone to create system where they have much of control especially over how money moves in and out. This ability to control money flow can be good for people who are owner of coin or are in charge and they make quick money but it can be risky for others.
You are right that meme coin world is one where some people can make much money fast and at same time many other people can lose more money just as quickly because of all hype. This fast way of getting rich or going broke is what makes meme coins so risky but also exciting for some. It is market that is driven more by what people are talking about online and what is popular other than by any real value or usefulness.
