Title: DEX trading OR CEX trading: which do you prefer ?
Post by: KryptoBell on May 06, 2025, 09:27:57 PM
Lately, i’m kind of getting used to Dex trading, i don’t know if i’m the only one but i didn’t start using DEXs until the beginning of this year. It was recently i started using PancakeSwap and Uniswap and MYX finance because its slippage free. From my experience so far i think i’m getting to like Dexs.

Whenever i’m asked which i prefer using between Cexs and Dexs, it’s kinda hard to choose because Cexs do have events users can participate in while on the flipside Dexs doesn’t. But Dex trading is fluid in my opinion. What’s your experience with both ? Which do you prefer ?

i usually hear a reason is because of privacy which they don't have to send KYC docs to the DEX. it don't matter the transaction fees because after all anonymity has a price.

to me CEX still has given me more opportunity than on DEX. because Bitcoin is always just on CEX and more volume in there which buying and selling is just better in CEX.

Yeah that’s true, privacy is one reason users lean more towards DEX, especially those who prefer to be anonymous. Also, some users who tend to prefer DEX because they won’t need Kyc are those that reside in countries against crypto. I also get that CEX has more liquidity compared to DEX, i think at the end of the day, it all comes down to what matters to the user more.
