I don't know if such thread has been created since the search engine ain't the most reliable Imo........
Okay I'm not talking about during teleportation, but ones after they were teleported.
This user forfeited on a loan in BTT among others https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?action=profile;u=73204 link to his Bitcointalk profile
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1911471
I'm curious if the tag shouldn't be reported here also? I'm just using this as an example though he has been inactive from both.
Should negative tags that was given in BTT with undeniable evidence be reflected here or since it happened there and not here there's no need.
I believe though that people deserve second chance(depending on the crime) but if they did it there, there's a likelihood they would do same here.
What are your thoughts?

Who will investigate if the evidence somewhere else is undeniable? Each case takes a lot of time.
If you see someone with a teleported badge and want to make a deal with that account, you should make a check additionally, you know where. If there is any intent in cheating or scamming, the tag may be an additional argument, but it is not what trusted by default.

It doesn't take much time because most of the time in BTT the proof and evidence are referenced especially in cases where flags are raised against scams on funds.

is Bitcointalk the only accounts with teleported tag?
And even if it is, how many people are aware or Would know how to make such self investigation especially guests.
Except it means a crime made there doesn't concern anybody here? And vice versa.
This is what I could infer or I may be wrong. Clarifications could help. Thanks.

I know how the things are done and I understand that there are many cases which are investigated good enough, but far not all. And checking all again is a matter of time, a lot of time.

No but mostly.

We have so many users who is aware of all that, that there will be many who will see if anything will go wrong and report it.
Anyway, if someone is a proven scammer, you can try to provide information about him also here, getting all necessary information. If everything is clear, then appropriate measures will be taken. But if you will look through tags on the BTT, you'll find that far not all tags have clear evidence.

It's up to anyone who wish to perform financial action with him to do some research.

Unless it's done on few teleported users, it'll still take too much time to verify each action/trust score of teleported users.

~snip...
Transferring reputation to this forum from Bitcointalk along with the teleported profile actually makes some sense but it isn't very much applicable here my reason for saying this is because if you observe you will discover that many financial deals are not being done here compared to Bitcointalk.
In fact most times some of the users prefer to transfer those deals to bitcoin talk than conduct them here if need be.

Usually upon teleportation, we are asked to leave a direct link to our att account on our btt profile. So in a way, if anyone is dealing with such profiles, they might have a way to inform others about possible scam actions carried out by the user on the other forum. There's a high probability that same user will repeat same action here on this forum so it's better to keep others alert.

Feedback score lost it's value since the introduction of new trust system on bitcointalk and if those are carried over here then I won't trust that, there are things we can look beyond the feedback score and in my opinion the username is alone enough for me to find whether the user is trusted or can't be. But everyone have the option to decide whether they want to or not but it's always better to go with escrows in case if the deal is bigger.

The trust scores on Bitcointalk are not 100% accurate it's simply based on what other persons on the forum have to say about that particular person based on the outcomes when they either dealt with them or based on their general views about them on the forum.
They have been highly trusted people who defied their trust for money in the past on that forum.

Yeah I remember the few names too but that's what is problem when it comes to an individual who we just know from online, and what they represent as their face on internet doesn't necessarily mean it shows their actual intentions. But as I said it can be dependent on how much amount is involved in the deal, for few hundred dollars a highly reputable member won't ruin their names.

Generally we've had a policy of not teleporting negative trust, as this is trust gained on another forum and not necessarily reflective of their reputation on this forum. Positive feedback is different, and can be done as is beneficial to bounty managers and users alike.
That said there is a reputation section for a reason. If scam accusations are accurately presented, and there is support from respectable members of the forum to label the user as a scammer, then I'd apply the badge myself, nevermind the negative trust. Ideally we can think beyond a "he said she said" type trust system and simply apply a scammer tag where necessary, given that elected Judges already have the jurisdiction to do that, ie VP can crack on if wishing to engage in such activity.
Users just need to step up and create the necessary topics here if they want users punished, not expecting admin or global mods to do the heavy lifting as it were ;)
This is the badge I mean, rather than having just -X feedback.

I don't think so, the ones who got negative tags on Bitcointalk will never repeat what they've done there. I know the ones with criminal mentality will repeat those actions but the ones who regret at first place will never do anything wrong or suspicious.

Oh I understand this, I wasn't stating that the trust should be immediately transferred .i meant if it was reported with evidence that a certain accounts was involved in a fraud or something that paints them in a light of not been trust worthy if a tag Woulf be taken. Maybe I didn't coin the words well hence the confusion @Jokers

Ohhh in a nutshell such already exists. I guess I wasn't aware of such. Thanks.
