Hi everyone, I’m not sure if I’m posting in the right section — if not, I apologize and will move the thread to the correct one.
A question came to my mind: on other forums, the use of AI is often frowned upon, especially when it's used to write posts. How is the use of AI viewed here?
Here’s an example use case:
I’m a native Italian speaker, and to communicate with you I mainly use online translators. However, tools like ChatGPT or Gemini can also act as translators and additionally correct grammar or syntax mistakes. Is this kind of use allowed, or would it be seen as an AI-generated post?
I’d be happy to hear your thoughts.

About using AI for correcting your English, that can not be detected as AI as long as you write the content of the post yourself and not use AI to write it for you.
About translation, why translating if you are not from a local board? Get someone from the local board that can translate it for you.
