I think it's good for facebook to ban them entirely, but I think a vetting process would be more ideal. It'd be important to stop old computer illiterate people from being taken advantage of, at least. Facebook sucks overall though, we'd all be better off not using it at all.

I think that's a good decision from facebook. At present, there are many SCAM ICO out there. Which can lead facebook user who doesn't have proper knowledge about ICO. I think for ICO advertisement Forum, twitter and youtube is the best place. Because, there a lot of resources available to know about ICO.

For me what was happening is an opportunity to cleans all possible scam advertisement and strengthen the convincing power of the real team for their real project. We all know that during this days many scam ICOs are existing and investors are suffering.
So i like the action of facebook, the real project will stand out and lessen the opportunity of the scammers.

I assume facebook just want to prevent the huge scammers because it is not joyful to be one of the scammers victim. To prevent scam ICO can boast the people trust to more rely to facebook services as it is true.

There are many scam ICOs out there and facebook will not be able to differenciate between them. Because of the large audience on facebook, a lot of people will have access to this information.

Facebook ads has been banned last January. But this June, they have announced that they revert the ban to some of the crypto ads. Facebook will require the documents needed before advertising an ICO. This move will helped minimize the occurrence of fraud ICO.

I think there's not bunning ads because until now in bounty program facebook are required also.

This because so many scam ICO at that time, so Facebook dont wanna to share bad ICO project, I think that good idea to keep Facebook name

That action purposely to minimize scam ICOs. We all know every now and then scam is difficult to notice because of freedom to promote in social media. Fb management just want to help investors not to lose.

Facebook is doing this to protect its users because people invest in what they see their friends do. A lot of people can get decieved by these advertisements that are running on social media and might even invest in scam ICO's.

I agree mate I think that's a good decision from facebook. At present, there are many SCAM ICO out there. Be careful , because It will be affect the value of crypto.

it was facebook blocking ads bitcoin and ico, and after I learned it continues only temporarily, and now the ban was already in the back .

I heard it that news before but until now it didnt happen i dont know,i think management of bitcoin have a proposal or agreement for facebook and other social media for bitcoins gathering investors.If they really ban that makes bitcoin down and manny coins and altcoins continue to drop until became value less.

My view of this news is very bad against the world of cryptocurrency because Facebook is a very wide-spread media and when it is against crypto ads it can make ico more difficult to recognize by the public.

Well if that will happen. There are still social medias that we can use to advertise bitcoin such as Twitter, Reddit and Telegram.

I think the one reason is to prevent spreading informations shared by participants coming from scam ICO's but later then, facebook revert the ban. Instead, the company gave a rules of registering their project's advertisement on the company(facebook)

There's no problem with Facebook team by implementing the banned policy. It would be great in terms of avoiding scams. Although it is also a barrier to reach the people through fb helps.

Social media simply makes them pay off. If it is banned then it will not be time-consuming but advertisement on social media is paid. That's just money money.

you are right, Facebook is social media a very widely used one in every layer of society. the existence of the ban will reduce the volume of ICO and crypto with quite a lot. and it will certainly affect price movement.

Because many of the ICO project ICO ads on Facebook.,so if banned the ICO advertising,the company's revenue ability will be greatly reduced,and the early facebook plans to take on blockchain message may boost the facebook value increases to a certain extent.

This course will provide little capability against an influential large number of ICO in selling, due to Facebook's own token provides a considerable contribution to sales. If this is indeed the case, then this is a bad news.

it's better, so Bitcoin and ICO are safer than people who are just fad fiddling with Bitcoin and ICO businesses. maybe Facebook is very maintaining and minimizing violations and criminal acts committed by irresponsible people.

I think it's not entirely true that Facebook does not allow advertising of projects, it's just that it's beneficial for him to deal with quality start-ups and.
