Title: How to identify a quality bounty campaign
Post by: husanchaika on July 16, 2018, 02:08:54 AM
Hello, forum members!
Being a bounty hunter for a while, I still didn't get paid for many campaigns, because I was like participating in anything and even didn't bother about project, it's team, soft cap / hard cap, bounty budget and etc.
After being scammed by several bounties, I started to choose deliberately, but campaigns ended they are pausing or postpone token distribution, thus I am forced to wait longer.
Now my question: how do you filter those bounties that will make it and with punctual rewarding system?

I am a beginner, but I think you can filter them with your experience. You know which one is good and which one is bad through your experience. At least, choose project with complete information and right legality. Don't join project with lack of information, no telegram community, and bad concept.

You should always read the whitepaper and find out about the project. At least find out about the profile of the team members and see if they have real followers or not.

Hi mate,
Every ICO project is like a newborn baby. So, at the initial stage, it is really hard to grow up the project. Every project has to pass a lot of barriers in their way to development. But to make ICO successful there should be a good idea, good product, good team and management, as well as good capital. After feeding everything the ICO become Successful and stand out in the market.

So, it is really hard to identify the quality bounty campaign. But from your experience, you would know which project is going to the moon..Because here activities play a vital role. The project which has gradual development in the initial stage may be good for quality bounty campaign..Because they know the bounty hunter matter in the project also.

Thanks.

This is the danger of participating in alt coin bounties. If you prefer to go by safer way, do those kind of rewarding programs that pay out in btc etc. You will be able to get these payout faster, can even be by per week basis but do expect the payment to be little.

On the other hand, ico bounties are very risky but they are willing to pay out more. You can earn thousands of dollars from one ico but you also can end up getting nothing. So do your own assessment.

And even if you make very good assessment, to deem a project is legit, good foundation etc. There is still a huge factor which is fund rising. If an ico cant even raise money, you will end up having a project keep delaying and keep having to re-run ico.

I always check how active the team in social media, the updates and specially in telegram. Now concerning waiting for the payment doe not matter as long as you will get the payment.

As you stated earlier it was because you didn't pay attention to any details, that was why you failed. Take note of the details in the whitepaper, what the project is about, the qualification of team members and how people are buying the coin. After doing this, I am sure you will avoid scam ICO's.

You're right, I'm already experienced bounty hunter and can indicate if project will make ICO and go to the moon.

Thanks for advice. But I found it really hard to find bounty campaigns that pay in BTC or ETH.
Most of ICOs pay in their tokens, but somehow say that they need funds. But if they can't afford bounty campaign, which is about 1-5% of raised funds, that's strange mostly. Like if they themselves are not quite sure if their project going to the moon.

I'm not sure you're writing about topic and it seems as if copy pasted from Google. Please, do not such things, if I find it again, I will be forced to give you negative remark.

Exactly this.  There are tons of things that can go wrong with an ICO that don't make it a scam.  You have to hedge your bets with these things and get involved with as many as you can, only one needs to succeed for you to win.  You can't bet on one thing and expect it to be a success, that is a rare thing indeed.  Persistence and perseverance will always win out in this.

I go on a bounty campaign manage by establish bounty manager, through this you can have a atleast 75% that the campaign is not scam. I like sylon, Lauda, etc. they are from bitcointalk and I believe this kind of people will be found here too, though not now but it will happen.

You should research about a project before investing or participating in their bounties. At least read the whitepaper to know what the project is actually about.

I will filter those bounty by how strong they are in the crowd sale. Collecting money could be the first steps on making the project successful...rewards could be so big if they hit their hard cap.

Someone also raised an issue of the age of their website, but I don't know how true it is. You can check the age of a website on www.whois.com. Navigate the area and click on whois. Then type the name of the website in it. Yoi will be able to know when the website was created. New websites are suspicious.

its really hard to idetify the quality bounty campaign because most of the campaign published is very encouraging making people to participate.

I think that you can learn only by experience. try and check. If the company is reliable, you can do more and get more.

Thank you for this link. Now, I have a guide of what bounty are worth participating because there are too many scam bounties nowadays. I have been a bounty hunter for sometime and I can advice that you should take into account the bounty manager because a bounty manager is the first one who would assess the team if the project is worth managing. If it is manage by a reputable manager then most likely it is not scam because they do not want to be involved in scams since it is their reputation that will be tarnished.

You can participate in bounty campaigns that are being managed by bounty managers with good tracking records. With such campaigns, you know that you are definitely going to be rewarded

I think its very difficult to identify because most of the ICOs even not legitimate are doing good project platforms to encourage investor to invest on them.

After participating in a scam ICO, you need to go back to it to see what actually it entailed so that whenever you see anything of that sort, you just bacm off. You should also read the whitepaper and visit the website to know what is going on with the project before you participate.

You can ask those who have experience. choose which is good and not based on their experience. besides, choose one of the legal projects and can provide overall information. for me personally, I will not join a project that can not provide information in detail and clear.

To identify a quality bounty is choose who offers a clear project. See the information displayed. Do not choose projects that do not have a clear concept and detailed information. besides, monitor the community on social media.

It's very interesting to read your experience, but I think that in the near future we will be very much restricted in the bounty, have you thought about this?

Вы должны исследовать проект, прежде чем инвестировать или участвовать в их наградах. По крайней мере, прочитайте технический документ, чтобы узнать, что такое проект.

There are a lot of ICO campaigns, and it's important to be able to properly assess them before you decide to invest. Ernst & Young wrote in a recent report on fraud around ICO: We were shocked by the quality of some White Paper. Therefore, the most important components of ICO projects:
1. white paper;
2. The team;
3. community;
4. progress;
5. Competing tokens;
6. structure of financing.

You should dependably read the whitepaper and get some answers concerning the venture. At any rate get some answers concerning the profile of the colleagues and check whether they have genuine adherents or not.You can channel them with your experience. You know which one is great and which one is terrible through your experience. At any rate, pick venture with finish data and right legitimateness. Try not to unite venture with absence of data, no wire network, and terrible idea.

Most campaign are not properly paying to its bounty participants and what i did today is to continue to apply and participate and hoping that the bounty campaign that i participated will pay the mount they promise.

I try to go on the Bounty campaign and manage by setting up his Bounty manager, through this I can have a minimum of 75% -100% that the campaign is not a scam and won't even die. Maybe you can also research the Project on the Website first before taking the Bounty Campaign.
