Title: What is your trading strategy?
Post by: bosshyip on July 16, 2018, 11:35:58 AM
Hey guys, I keep thinking what are the most poppular/most efficient trading strategies. Also do you trade on a few specific coins that you just trade on through out the year or not?

I want to ask you to share yours, but of course you don't have to be specific, just say if its e.g. arbitrage, bot/margin trading, buy the dip / hodl, pnd or whatever else. If its somthing other than in the poll just talk about it here or in general feel free to discuss trading strategies.

I personally like to hodl, not sure that can be counted as trading strategy, but wanted to go first.

I just scalp with altcoins to make more bitcoin.. I have very little interest in holding alts for long periods of time.. (maybe the one exception right now is NULS since its so undervalued).

Alt coins just don't seem like long-term holds for me because they are constantly out of position and are vulnerable to slippage in most market conditions.... plus the market isn't showing much market cap growth so money is generally moving around and any gains gained in pumps are often lost and are back to zero or end up dropping further.

my trading strategy is to hold on buying when the market is very weak and buy once the market recovers.

Hold can be a trading strategy which is like long term trading. My strategy is a bit similar to trailing stop where i will withdraw out partial profits at times while letting the rest run. Maybe i will leave a few potential coins like zilliqa for long term hold.

use silent money for trading, meaning not money for everyday purposes. Because trading takes a long time (according to market circumstances) if you want the price as you wish.
The key is patient and do not panic easily to make a sale .

My strategy is a bit like a trailing stop where I will pull out some of the profits at once while letting the rest run.

In our trading strategy, we also have a lot of research where we have good altcoins to get more profits, by waiting for cheap prices we can buy them, and we can wait for high prices, so we will also benefit.

I quit in any trading for now  because the market is still very weak and most of the coin are continuously dropping and still no signs of recovering.

Look the market choice the coin with high fluctuations. Buy coin in low price n sel 80% in high price at that a day. Do dot speen all money to buy in 1 time. Spree money for coin if down again.

Study market first it is grow up stable or dump. If it stable choose coin with high fluctuations, n you can play it, split money 2 or more. Don't buy in one time. if grow up buy as much as you can sell imedietly if it pump and hold if it is grow slowly 🐌,

hey guys, I feel like the market is quiet weak at the moment so the situation is really a difficult one (especially when you are a trading beginner and want to start at this moment :D) ... a good trading strategy includes of course a lot of research ... I would also wait for cheap prices and buy then .. so observing the market situation and be fast .... a friend of mine is quite into holding .... guess there are many strategies that can be successful you just have to find the best for you =)

In this year, just sitting on all of my investments, cause i missed the perfect time to leave some of them anyway and wait for the storm to pass, which kind of happened. ;) Just adding some new, cheap coins regularily, which i assume could become more interesting for "normal" people on the long run. Of course you can make some money with day-trading in this market too but with all the competition, it would be really hard - which is why i personally prefer long-term-holdings.

My strategy is this: I buy new altcoins, fresh on the platform I use (CoinDeal), they bring a lot of new, less known currencies. Then I keep them and sell for some time with a big profit. Is this going to be a long term strategy? How do you rate my plan?

I invested in this way in the FTO and so far I am on the big plus.

Like you @greta85, I've done a good deal with the FTO. Have you heard about the opening of their first ATM in Wroclaw, Poland? From now on - buying, selling, and transferring money is as easy as never before! But wait, there is more! In FutureNet Cafe you can also pay for your coffee and meal in FuturoCoin!

My strategy is to follow the market situation and determine whether it will be good for day trading or long term, but sometimes I also need arbitration.

The basis for trading must be considered. In researching the market, a trader must look at fundamental analysis. and the most important thing is to understand the cycle of price fluctuations. Because the cycle of ups and downs of prices is our key to making a profit in crypto.

i have no really trading strategy

usually holding for more than 3 or 4 month

Like you @ariyzt, I don't have a special trading strategy. I only buy when prices are low and sell when prices have risen 20-30%. And I will not wait to get a profit of 70-100% because this price is easy to change.

The key to trading is being able to take advantage of price fluctuations in crypto currencu. No need to worry when prices are down because you can take the opportunity to buy coins at low prices and get a profit when prices rise.

The most commonly used strategy would be buying low and selling high. You could use technical indicators or resistance and support lines to buy and sell. I know traders who used MACD, RSI and bolinger bands. You could also try to find projects which have just started with good team and goals and buy into them and sell after the tokens get some good price appreciation.

My strategy in trading is to buy if the price falls and sells when the price exceeds the purchase, I think a little profit doesn't matter

Hi @ariyzt we are in the same team. At the beginning of the crypto adventure I would like to be the long time trader, but when I face the market changes reality I become a short term fan. I invested a little bit in FTO and after a few rate changes I cannot complain about the profits. Which of your short term investments was the biggest success?

I don't have a special trading strategy in crypto trading. All I do is look at price fluctuations in the coin market, analyze which ones will give profit, buy and hold it in the time I specify. And finally, the key is not to panic when prices go down. Stay patient and optimistic.

My trading strategy is very simple i will buy coins and keep on holding until it rise the target price of at least 20% increase before selling to ensure a good profit return.

When the price of bitcoin goes up, I will sell all my coins. After that, I will invest a portion of my money in the altcoin. Because I plan to trade altcoins for short. I think, altcoins will be easy to spread and profitable for the short or medium term.

It's really a very good piece of advice! Lot of people non-stop talk about the decline of BTC and all crypto world... the other one can't stop complaining on the bearish market. I invested in FTO, make good profit on the quick flip in a short term trading and I look in the future with the hope and positive mind.

The buy-and-hold strategy employs a mentality that suggests price movements over the long term will outweigh the price movements in the short term and, as such, short-term movements should be ignored. Active traders, on the other hand, believe that short-term movements and capturing the market trend are where the profits are made.

Very simple, buy some, sell some and hold some. What do I mean? I mean that has a trader, be able to know when to buy, when to sell and when to hold.

Trading is not easy.Need a great research when is the right time to buy, sometime we are so greedy when seeing the price going down significantly then buy as we can without thinking about the risk and sometime we are so patience to wait until the price going up to sell what we bought. This may lead to a huge lost.

This is interesting to do not have an strategy! But where is the market going to come back, when it is real only at this moment, and tomorrow it will be different? It's interesting that whenever there are drops, everyone talks about the decline of cryptocurrencies. Was it the same when the stock market in the last weeks when there were such big drops? Probably not. So I'm looking at the future with positive thoughts. I've invested in the FuturoCoin altcoin and I hope it will bring me profits.
