Title: Is CHINA CONTROLLING Bitcoin?
Post by: chayskie04 on July 17, 2018, 03:54:38 PM
People here have claimed that Bitcoin is in fact controlled and ruled by China, as mining is centralized by Chinese mining institutions.

Do you think that China is controlling/ruling bitcoin yes or no?

There are discourses like this, but on the other hand, there is a lot of news that China will ban bitcoin. So it's hard to be sure which is right. Most of the mining activities are being done in China, so we need to assume that China has a great power over bitcoin. But is the amount of Bitcoin they have enough to control it? I don't think so.

Let say you are right, so what then?
If China control bitcoin suppose bitcoin is not too valuable rather cheap price in order to bought rapidly.
Then China will do more production of bitcoin to meet the demands of the people all over the world.
Thats my opinion.

There was information that the Chinese government had developed a two-year program to completely ban decentralized crypto currency in its territory. The first stage of such a program expires in June next year. If this is so, China is isolated from the rest of the world in the field of crypto currency and therefore can no longer control bitcoin.

I do not think so, because I know that the Chinese state closes the bitcoin mine because of its wasteful electricity, probably because China's densely populated country is in need of a lot of electricity for its citizens.

Let the people think about it. I personally don't think about that. I only think that those who control the Bitcoin are the whales. But whales may come from many countries. But, I don't know the exact fact. Whatever the countries, hopefully that Bitcoin can be stable and can be accepted by many more countries.

I think Bitcoin mining has nothing to do with controlling Bitcoin.
because Bitcoin also when the mine is always sold by the miners to get FIAT.

I don't believe China controlling Bitcoin as long as there are no reliable facts that show the issue. I still assume that no one or country enables to control the Bitcoin. Bitcoin has no owner, it is decentralized, and the rate only influenced by the market trend & global demand.

I do not think so. China is not one of the countries that controls the price of bitcoin. But it cannot be denied that China is one of the countries that has the most number of bitcoin investors at this time.

I dont agree of it because if that's the reason why the bitcoin value was very low, for sure bitcoin cannot be recover at all but as we can see, eventhough it was in the red zone, bitcoin was keep on recovering.
