Title: How do you feel if your bounty work is rejected?
Post by: KobbyD on July 22, 2018, 01:38:40 AM
Bounty hunters do work hard to promote ICO's and reach a lot of investors. Sometimes bounty hunters earn nothing for a very hard work done. I am not referring to scam ICO's but bounty managers rejecting your coin. How does it feel?

There is a reason it could be bounty manager delay the distribution or bounty manager is cheating. I am more confident with bounty manager who has handled many bounty projects.

I will feel very devastated, like recently i was doing one ICO the ICO have ended and everything goes well. As from the start of the bounties we always input our ethereum address and details everything to the ICO but after the ICO finish they suddenly come out with having to register again in order to receive the tokens. As a bounty hunter how many of us will notice the telegram of every ICO we do and they state if you did not register no tokens will be given to you, shouldn't they sent email to the participants rather than posting on the telegram channel?

If I have participated any bounty like that, I may feel uncomfortable and sad. But, I will not always think of it negatively. Later I may take it positively and improve my work so that the bounty will get satisfied. As we all know we are paid by the bounty to promote their new projects, so they have always the right to collect good work from us.

I would be disappointed and seek for a reason why my work is rejected so that I will have a point of reference of what is the right thing to do next time. If his reason is not justified then you can proceed to the team instead and then complain to them because maybe the bounty manager just do not want to accept for personal reasons. If they wouldn't accept then find another bounty opportunity that would welcome you instead.

I'm mostly fine with it, if they have a higher standard that's ok with me.  The only time I'm not fine is if they aren't willing to explain where I'm going wrong.  I want to perform better if they require it, but I'm not ok with work being rejected without explanation.  That's all anyone can really ask for.

I will be happy to accept. Because it is already a risk of a bounty hunter who can only promote ico without spending money. So if your work is not on pay do not cry, it's a risk to become a bounty hunter.

Firstly, I will see the reason. If it is my mistake, I accept it with sincerity. If it is not my mistake, I will demand my rights. After many weeks we promote the project, it is a must to get what we are entitled to.  :)

At the start of the bounty you must be sure that you had understand the bounty rules and submitted the correct wallet address. This is to avoid rejecting your efforts at the end of the bounty. If you had follow the rules no reason for the bounty manager to reject your work.

When I really try to popularize the project, write original tweets and posts for each individual project, study the information, I recommend my friends in social networks to pay attention to the project and after all my efforts, the developers of the project downplay the bounty pool 10 times( this is at best) or even worse, refuse to pay fees, this is an indicator of unscrupulous people who do not appreciate the work of others. I remain dissatisfied with this project. So should not be, we are all people and be kind (developers) pay us for our help to your projects!

Is is very sad to have your work rejected. But you have to understand that, every bounty has its own rules and what is expected of you as a bounty hunter. If you follow these rules, you can b accepted. But the bounty managers always give a reason for rejecting bounty campaigns.

Some of the bounty managers are not honest. I participated in a bounty HADA bank. I did everything correctly, it was a Facebook campaign and yet I received nothing from the manager. I contacted him and he never answered me any sensible reasons. It hurts and I think every hunter should check stakes that are shared on spreadsheets every week. Ask managers to update spreadsheets every week before you move on working, else you involve yourself doing a lot of work for nothing.

It's very HARD to work on a platform, where there is no spreadsheet.

I do not think the bounty manager refused to give you the reward, but the project owner refuses that. Bounty managers are only hired to manage the campaign and they only score points you work on, not the power to reward you.

If it was because of my mistake, I would fix it and accept if I was rejected in bounty. but if I am rejected due to bounty manager error, I will complain and get angry.

Disappointed off course but I think the rejection would not happen if I follow every step that required for the bounty during the time I filled up the form. And the usual thing I did every time I got rejected is to review where I did mistake and then contact the bounty manager if the result can be change.

I agree with your opinion mate. We need to clarify what is something wrong by the rejection then after that we will communicate the bounty managers to review if rejection was due to the rules that was not stated clearly. Then we will demands our rights and should be receive the rewards that we entitled to, so that there is nothing disappointment at all.

Well, I think we just need to accept this fact. We are only giving in our luck in joining campaigns. The sad part of it is that we just spent our time and effort in vain.

I will feel broken heart.  Doing bounty campaign is no different from full time job, sitting in front of computer, reading, writing, some people event shooting a video, posting and sharing to promote the project for months.  When the job is finished we deserve a decent reward.  So, how do you heal a broken heart?

I agree on that. But we need to improve from our mistakes if our work is rejected it means, we need improvement or maybe we have a mistakes of doing such thing that is why it is rejected. So maybe we need to make self study and improvement.

This is the most hurting news bounty participants don't want to hear. but some of them are used to stealing other peoples content. Other enjoy cheating and like to trick bounty managers. Some of the bounty hunters really deceive it whiles some bounty managers are not fair and cheaters themselves.

I will be mad of course, and my first course of action to contact the bounty campaign manager via private message or telegram asking him the reason for rejecting my work. Like what I did last night upon knowing not a single tweet, retweet, FB post and share on Week 1 Report (Twitter and Facebook) was not credited. Well, bounty campaign managers are not always right, they're also human and bound to commit mistakes like us.

I got frustrated once when I took a fair bit of time and wrote a decent article for a project, then it got rejected because it didn't have enough 'reach'. Annoyed me because that wasn't mentioned in the beginning (although I do understand the reasoning behind it). Anyway, learned from my 'mistake' and don't really waste time writing articles much anymore, even though I can string a few words together. I will get back to it eventually, but need to build up a bit of a following first and I just don't have the time at the moment.
