Interest ask... If we want no one to stop transactions in cryptocurrency, this means that no one can stop legal or illegal transactions. If we allow the suspension of illegal transactions, this would mean that someone will arbitrarily determine whether, for a particular situation, a transaction is legal or not, and this will always be subject to arbitrary interpretation. No, I am against it. Let the transactions remain irreversible, and let the states look for other ways to influence illegal transactions.

Is it possible to stop the illegal use of Bitcoin?
I think it will be possible if there is no cryptocurrency crime anymore, it will make all countries accept payments using bitcoin.

as long as there are still many frauds and intentions that want to be profitable and dare to take risks, then nothing can stop it.
Moreover, it is supported by state apparatus who also play for profit.

Is it possible to stop the illegal use of Bitcoin?
There's no way we can stop that.  Bitcoin is decentralized and every transaction is anonymous.  The only thing they can track you is when you are registered to a wallet that requires a kyc— this kind of wallet is very common to every country in which cryptos are not illegal.

Well, I will ask you a question, can we stop illegal use of money? Or can we stop all crimes in the world?
That is the point. This is not about the use of BTC for illegal activities. But, this is about the people who do that. Whatever the manner, when someone wants to do illegal activities, they will do everything to make their illegal activities run well. And we can stop everybody n the world to stop it

It is clear that if it has been recognized by the government in each country, I can accept what the colleagues said above. but I also do not rule out that there will be illegal ways by people who really want to launder their money with bitcoin because of the results of Corruption and Drug Sales.

As other posters have said, currently there is probably no way of stopping illegal use. In the use of Bitcoin, public keys cannot be connected to the person's identity and there is no third party to inspect spending - changing these aspect would negate some of the advantages Bitcoin provides.
Unless there's a way to track these things that I don't know about.

There are many illegal activities in cryptocurrency and of course bitcoin should not be controlled by anyone, so it is only natural that many people say that bitcoin has many illegal activities.

Some countries, like Russia (https://theforexreview.com/2020/10/14/russia-plans-to-limit-all-unqualified-crypto-investors/), are attempting to do so with regulation so stringent they may as well ban cryptos, but the truth is, I think, that use of cryptos for illegal activities can be stopped as much as use of fiat currencies for the same activities can be stopped. The best thing regulators can do is to first of all curb that use as much as possible, indeed, but also protect ordinary people from scams.

It is impossible to stop using Bitcoin for illegal activities. I am sure that everybody will never know what the others, what friends, or what other companies are using their Bitcoin. It seems to difficult to rule all people in the worldwide to use BTC for not illegal things

Is it possible to stop the illegal use of Bitcoin?
We cannot stop illegal activities in the use of bitcoin because many countries that have not legalized bitcoin in these countries think that bitcoin is a means of payment that cannot be traced or known.

Yeah. Because there are no legal rules about bitcoin yet. so this illegal act cannot be avoided. Then they still do that.

We can't stop illegal use of Bitcoin because still there is no legal rules of Bitcoin or it has no regulatory authority who will take action against illegal use. Government of any country tries to ban Bitcoin for not stopping its illegal uses. They think it will enhance money laundering and criminal activities. Recently, in my country, some kidnappers kidnapped a child and wanted payment in Bitcoin from its parents who don't know what is Bitcoin really. Low enforcing agencies rescued the child.

I don't think we can stop that. The transactions made in cryptocurrency are always Anonymous more than enough to be as useful as it is for the illegal transactions.

It can't be possible within an urgently but we can reduce its unusual activities. But people are responsible for the illegal activities. If we aware about illegality then we can reduce it from illegal uses.

then what's the point if there are still a lot of KYC that have to be done by several exchanges, because when holding KYC there is no privacy anymore.

How can we stop such crime in the world? Moreover, we do not know who is criminals and who want to use crypto for crimes. We can only limit ourselves not to involve in the case. That is why let's limit it for ourselves and people around us that we know. But to stop it in the world, we have nothing to do

I agree, I think no one can stop criminals, they only can reduce the criminals activities. We all know illegal activities always be happened at all of the word.  I hope we will realize with this condition. It is really difficult, because cannot be tracked.

Is it possible to stop the illegal use of Bitcoin?
Cryptocurrency crimes are among the most difficult to bring criminals to justice. They always happen using the Internet, and attackers are located in different states around the globe. The law enforcement system is very slow to effectively combat these types of crimes. Therefore, the number of crimes involving cryptocurrency is likely to only increase. This struggle is both between good and evil, almost eternal.

It is impossible to stop the use of cryptocurrency for illegal purposes just like stopping other crimes in the world. Moreover, cryptocurrency has a high degree of anonymity and can quickly move around the world, which makes it extremely difficult to combat abuse by law enforcement agencies.
Cryptocurrency is a relatively easy prey for hackers, scammers, and other attackers, so you should most likely expect an increase in crime with it, rather than a decrease.
