Recently, I was thinkig. Is there really any reason for the BTC to be the market leader? The only thing that is giving the value to BTC is pretty much the fact, that it was the first crypto currency. It is the grandfather of all cryptos. But we know it has its flaws... It was never designed for broad usage, it has scaling issues and so on.
On the other hand, we were given ETH. The Crypto Kitties or w/e the awesome internet meme ETH appliction is called showed us, that ETH network has issues with high amounts of usage. BUT, 90% of all altcoins are based on the ERC-20 standard, brought to us by ETH. The smart contracts using the Solidity are extremly good piece of technolgy.
So my question is. Do you think, that BTC will keep its leadership, or will ETH be the winner of this year and surpass its ancestor?

BTC is going to win every year for the next 5 years at a minimum. No other coins even come close to dethroning BTC. That doesn't really mean anything is going to happen with ETH though, it'll be just fine and grow for the next few years as well.

I think bitcoin is still the best. But ethereum is doing better in this year. Ethereum is more potential.

I think ethereum is doing better in market now. It is very potential.

In my opinion, Bitcoin is still the best, the bitcoin value will affect all altcoins.

Although Ethereum is on the rise now, and Ethereum is a very favorite alloy, I think in 2018 Bitcoin is still the winner, and Ethereum has not been able to surpass Bitcoin yet. Bitcoin is the undefeated king of Cripto.

I can not comment, I just hope the eth price will go up even beyond the bitcoin, a lot of money I bought on eth result from my hard work, hopefully my waiting pays off with the rising eth price.

Both coin are really winner in our heart, I believe that many of us really believe on eth and also with bitcoin because this two coin is now the most popular coin in the crypto feild. Both coin is a good investment and if we are going to invest on it maybe we gain a huge amount of profit.

I think ethereum is doing well on market in this year. It is better than bitcoin but bitcoin is still the best.

I agree with you, ethereum is doing well, but for me, the market price always depends on bitcoin if the bitcoin price will go to bulls, other coins is same.

In terms of surpassing bitcoin, I think it couldn't be. Let us not forget if ethereum will go forward and bitcoin will go backward. Still the distance of price is far from each other. Although the chance to let the price fly above the wings is not impossible. Crypto price is interchangeable but bitcoin will remain as the most valuable.

There's no doubt it will keep its leadership. Aside from being the leader in coinmarketcap.com and exchanges, Bitcoin is by far the most usable crypto on earth as there are lots of Bitcoin ATMs installed in many countries in the world. And based on statistic the total numbers of Bitcoin ATMs worldwide from January 2016 to April 2018 were 2,662 Bitcoin ATMs as of April 2018 globally (https://coinatmradar.com/countries/).

We can actually say bit against the world(altcoins). Yes, bitcoin is the most outstanding coin in the world. I can't really imagine bitcoin reach that kind of value. It seems impossible but we can see it. One coin is equal to thousands of dollars. It is like a joke but real.

There's no doubt about it. Still Bitcoin is the King and Ethereum is the great followers among all altcoins in crypto industry. There's no other coins yet that will bit bitcoin being the most precious crytocurrency in the crypto world. I'm very sure Bitcoin will win over ETH and other cryptocurrency because aside from investing bitcoin is also use as payment of some establishment.

Bitcoin is still the best, But ethereum is more popular now, many tokens used it.

I have not found the winner. But if you look at ethereum's technology the winner is this year. Ethereum has produced many new altcoins that are successful in the crypto market.

Why already give a verdict when 2018 is still not yet done? Anyways answering your question for the past months I give it to Bitcoin. Ethereum continuously drops in price while Bitcoins seems to show some stability.

Although Ethereum is showing rapidly useful than bitcoin but still we can also find uncomfortable in ethereum. Because of the platform of ethereum alot of scam ICOs are being made, because of being simple and anyone are free to be part on this so sscammers love to use ethereum platform.

No doubt bitcoin will still the leader of crypto as this has the dominance on the marketcap and this has a strong support from the traders and investors. Also due to the popularity of bitcoin it's difficult for any alts to dethrone bitcoin.

Recently, I was thinkig. Is there really any reason for the BTC to be the market leader? The only thing that is giving the value to BTC is pretty much the fact, that it was the first crypto currency. It is the grandfather of all cryptos. But we know it has its flaws... It was never designed for broad usage, it has scaling issues and so on.
On the other hand, we were given ETH. The Crypto Kitties or w/e the awesome internet meme ETH appliction is called showed us, that ETH network has issues with high amounts of usage. BUT, 90% of all altcoins are based on the ERC-20 standard, brought to us by ETH. The smart contracts using the Solidity are extremly good piece of technolgy.
So my question is. Do you think, that BTC will keep its leadership, or will ETH be the winner of this year and surpass its ancestor?
As I have noticed Eth was really down low it's value compare to BTC and were sure BTC will stand most significant of all crypto coins.

Bitcoin still has the highest market price value compared to Ethereum. I think Ethereum will not surpass Bitcoin this year.

I think that there can not be winners among the crypto currency this year. While all the Crypto currency is on the price day, along with bitcoin, which is the culprit of all this price stagnation in the crypto currency market.

Yes I see ethereum is doing well on market in this year, But bitcoin is the winner. Bitcoin is still the best of crypto.

I think bitcpin is the best, But ethereum is doing well on yhe market in this year. Ethereum is more potential and so popular now.

This year I do not see the winners yet. In any case, this is not bitcoin, because of which the entire crypto-currency market has fallen and has been in price stagnation for almost a year.
