I recommend storing DOGE on a well-known exchange platform like Binance because Binance is currently highly responsible for the problem of losing money on its account.
Or maybe it's better to save your DOGE in a local exchange wallet because there when something goes wrong or a hack you can claim and ask the office in the country you live in.

Storing cryptocurrency on an exchange is risky. If the exchange closes, then you can no longer see your money. It is preferable to keep DOGE in a wallet: Ledger, Coinomi, Atomic or some other. It is only for us to choose.

yes exchange wallets are not safe to store cryptocurrencies there are many problems in exchanges atomic wallet, trust wallet both are popular and trusted mobile wallet if you want more secure for your cryptocurrencies just buy hardware wallets.

But unfortunately, buying hardware has a cost constraint.
If we buy a hardware wallet like Trezor, maybe we have to pay quite a bit of money and this is the problem.

But if we use an Exchange wallet, we only use a smartphone, email and the authenticate.
And the risk might be the exchange could be hacked if we kept the exchange not number one like on Binance.

Their own platform is best for holding any coin. Since Doge Coin has its own platform, I think DogeCoin Wallet is best for keeping dogecoins compared to others. However, which wallet you will use is entirely up to you. You can use any wallet you want.
