Title: Am I late to the party?
Post by: marksayson on July 31, 2018, 03:49:34 AM
I feel so late to the party. Coins now are very expensive, like $5800 for Bitcoin and $345 for Ethereum... then $5 - $30 for other coins. I take a look at the blockchain explorers and see big holders of coins, for example some people have 1000+ bitcoin, a lot of people have 500,000+ ethereum. These people got the coins when they were 1 penny each, now I have to pay $500 for the same coin?

Why are the coins so expensive today? Can I go back in time and get them cheaper?

Even if I put in a lot of my money, I only get a fraction of what people were able to get 1 year ago. 1 year ago people got coins for 1 penny and stashed 100,000 coins for $1000, now I have to pay $1000 just for 1 coin?!? I feel so ripped off!

Also I knew about Bitcoin when it was $30, and I knew about Ethereum when it was $7! I was alive in these time periods and was looking online and reading about these things but it all flew by!

Am I too late to the party? Is it a good time to get buy today or should I find a way to time travel back in time?

My frustration is BIG

well if it was december 2017 i would say yes you are late.
right now nearly all the coins are really really cheap, of course it is a risk and it will always going to be, however blockchain is the future.
maybe you won't get your money x100 but x5-x10 is possible.

people are talking about one last huge bull run for bitcoin. after that people are expecting regulations for the market.
I am not a pro, just telling what I read. we all need to read more and make our own decisions.

and of course, only invest with the money which you won't be needing soon. good luck my friend!

I don't think that you're late for the party.
For the first: a lot of people thought the same when bitcoin was hitting 500$, now everyone knows that it hit 20K.
The second point: there are so many perspective alternative currencies out there, so you can try those which are not so expensive yet.

He is still not late. All the coins up there started with ICO and the prices were very cheap then. ICOs are still in existence, get yourself a good ICO and invest and surely you will make it to the party.

I think now is the right time you can do it, because the development of bitcoin prices has also increased, so I think you really are not late to start a party on cryptocurrency.

Cryptocurrency is full of surprises, it can go down directly or can directly rise in price.

It is never too late to buy or invest on cyrpto this time because almost all crypto are cheaper compared to the last highest spikes of increase in the market this year. But, you have to make the right decision on what coins you want to buy and how much capital you're going to use. For me, its better to invest only what you can afford to lose. To invest is like gambling, you have to take the risk just to earn good profits.

That was also my feeling when joining the crypto community, I feel disappointed upon knowing how huge they had gained when ath record had been established last dec. 2017 but anyway there is nothing to regret because I know the bull will run again to its fastest and I'm one of them riding this.

The huge party is not over. We are still in the huge dip. I believe that the huge dip is the price status that is really investors has make party. They are really wanted to have more bitcoin for good. And in the near future they can make more dollars and they will really become more profitable.

Please show me the coin that has gone from 1 penny to $1000, as I'm pretty sure it doesn't exist. Presumable this is just hyperbole to get your point across, and in answer to your question - no, you are not too late to join 'the party'. Still plenty of decent coins out there that you can pick up at a low price, and much more than you could at the end of 2017. Just do plenty of research before buying, and then go for it.

The past is past. The present and the future is what we should think about to prepare the important lesson so that we can avoid unnecessary. 2017 is not 2018, and 2018 is not 2019. In every year new struggles, obstacles happens but there are also new movement of price pumping. The problem is we don't really know how much the bigger price will be.

Well OP, no need to focus on buying coins that are already expensive. There are other coins that are still worth a penny nowadays although it is risky because we don't know what will be the future. You just have to take a chance because who knows it will be as much as bitcoin or ethereum in just a few years. Those people before also take a chance of buying those coins when it is almost worthless and they have reap their rewards now.
