Hi all i have a lot of altcoins i invested before the bloody days and now most of then are down lik 50%. Should i sell them with no profit but also no loss or shold i keep them a little more to make profit? what would you do?

Wait for the right moment for your alt to increase at profitable price, because having patience will bring positive results in life. We should sell our coins during green days and avoid being panic while crypto wasn't recovering.

I think you have to wait for the price to go first, then you sell all your Altcoin. because if you sell it now then you will experience a loss, while our goal here is to gain profit. be patient for a while, hopefully the price will go up soon.

what I do is the same as them, that is by holding it down if I am in your position because by losing 50% it is very much patiently waiting for the right time to sell it

I will sell the coin if there is no hope of rising in price. I do this for the sake of securing the assets that are still there. then buy a coin whose price potential will rise. but this is very risky, I do not really encourage others to do it. because our analysis is different .

You can keep it and hold it a little more, we dont know the run of the market as everyday prices are down and raised. So better keep it and always monitor the market for the better of your holdings. Goodluck

I think you should be patient to wait for the price to start up again, I'm sure it will not be long anymore, altcoin prices will surely rise, hope you are lucky.

I think there is no other ways of selling your altcoins safely but to sell it during green market moment. And to catching up this green market mode we need to have more patient and think always positive in mind.

before asking for an advice,i think it's much more better for you to describe it in detail.
because we do not know which one it is.
for example ;
right now you have STRATIS,and based on our current market its price went down for more than 40%.
so when is the best time to sell it ? right now or what ?
if you are holding it right now,i recommend you to hold it until at least early Oct or it's much more better to hold it until the end of the year.
why ? because right now Bitcoin showed us a sign,a good sign that it tried to reverse our current market.
the price might be declined a little bit for a couple days before,but it does not change the fact that it went up quite a lot compared to this dip.
so make your choice.

And in addition to the coins/tokens details, it is also very good idea to have the knowledge of the coins (like coins history, market charts, volumes etc) you are investing, and again, you should add the plans of your investment, that is, whether it is plan for long term or short term investment for a good advice on the various coins/tokens.

I think the safe price to sell if we have altcoins is when the price is more than its ICOs price for us to earn a good profit of investing our money.

That will depend on you whether you are confident in the future of cryptos as we know once crypto grow most of the altcoins will follow also, if you want to cut loss you might want to cash out some since you are only taking back the original amount if not just hold it.

Before you invest into cryptocurrency or anything, you have to consider whether you have that patience to wait, unlike that do not bother yourself at all. I once had bitcoin and exchanged it for another coin and a week latter bitcoin moved from 6k into 7k

The safest time to sell your coins is when their prices in market are higher than the price when you buy them. If you want to sell them now, I don't think it will be profitable because almost all crypto have no price movements in the cryptomarket nowadays. So, for me its better to just HODL and wait for the right time.

Yap, and not only when the prices of altcoins are higher, but you can also sell your altcoios if you have other better reinvestment plans, like investing in a new start up project that could bring in better returns (profit); and you have carried out proper research on it.
I think that there could many reasons to sell your altcoins other than profit margin. You can as well sell to reinvest also in peoject that has gain much wider attentions than the coins you already own. And finally, you could sell your altcoins if you have meet your goals in the business.

If it was me i would hold them i believe that you did do your own research before you invest in those ICO. If you are trading with extra cash you does not need now just let it run for sometime, i got strong feeling that crypto will have a place in the future.

Exactly, patience is the key, it will not help when you sell your alts that is already suffering for a loss, and you sell it on a much more cheaper price, that is a double kill for you. Better endure the pain, best to buy more at the dip, and just wait for the token price to go normal again.

Is a suicide if you sell at actual price of cryptos... The only thing you need is to hold and sell at the same price you have buy or higher.

If i have a coin now in altcoin if there is chance why not you sell if you see it is getting higher value it is the chance of selling your coins but if the value is low don't preserve it in the future it will be useful to you one day it can help you.

If after all the investments you made, you are still liquid, then you might want to wait for a better position to sell. If not, then think of unloading some and look for coins with better potential (those that can help you recover your losses).

You should keep them, and wait. Hold is the best way to reduce the loss. Be patient.

It will be depend on you buddy, If you know the details of the project it will help you to decide if you're going to sell it now or just keep holding it. But for me if you know that the alts is only a pump and dump coin or tokens just sell it on some good prices while it's pumping.

DefInitely, current situation is not suitable for selling Alts coin. Market is experiencing bear position, the end is not yet seen as of the moment. Patience is the key here if you want profit from your investment. Yes, actually when altcoins start rising it become an opportunity to regain the lost you had incurred during the bear market peroid. However, there are also altcoins that may remain stagnant for many years even at the bull market ,and i think this could be areas where you need experience while investing or selling on the various altcoins owned.

I had A coin and B coin which lost the same percentage of value. I check the potential of them and picked one.
Sold the other and bought more of the potential one. Now it is easier for me to control my portfolio
